In general, it is now safer to live in the Philippines but don't be complacent because not all people are good, no matter where they are in the world. 🙂
So true, i felt that way when i visited Philippnes on 2018, i thought former president did an excellent job 👍🏽💯.
@@fcguam3939 I agree 🙂
Hello Rubeuti, good information for the first time traveller there👍🏻 What about Zamboanga ? Seen a few good looking women on the dating side that appears nice and friendly 😀but of course one can’t be sure if there is danger until you meet in person and her brothers won’t let you leave the house 😁
@@colinwoodford1308 My only advice to you is to choose the province girl. It's okay if she's in the big city now, as long as she's originally from the province. But still be careful, get to know them well first. I'm sure you will find many kind women. 🤩👍😃
Davao City the safest? Hard to believe but I cannot doubt you as I have never been.
Yes Davao is the best City to live in the Philippines for sure.
I used to live there for over 7 years, now I’m exploring Thailand but I would for sure go back to Davao to live.
I am from Bacolod and we moved to Davao city when I was 16.
I was so impressed how Davaoenos are so disciplined, plus I felt so safe walking around the town even at night because of the police cars patrolling the street. Low cost of living as well.
Could barely concentrate after the pageant walks :P It was a fun (and adorable) little add to an informative video. Cheers!
You are always very informative, and I love your honesty. My late wife was from Cebu, tabunuck, I spent may happy times there. However my favourite place is Bantayan Island, the home of her parents, I could quite easily live there, a nice relaxed pace of life. Keep up your great work, I always look forward to your vlogs. Your vlogs always take me back to a happy place. I hope to return to the Philippines some day soon. Since my wife passed away, it's a difficult journey to make, Watching your vlogs makes me want to return, I miss your beautiful country so much.
I LOVE HOW YOU WALK LIKE A MODEL ON “THE RUNWAY”!!! 🥰🥰🥰
👍👍👍
Didn't she used to be a model?
@@Rubeauti Too late. You already revealed your skills. I’m putting your name on the ballot for Miss Philippines 🇵🇭!
🤣🤣🤣
I think out of all the cities Dumaguete seems the most appealing to me as an expat since it’s not far from the nice beaches, very safe and english is vastly spoken. Good video👍🏽
Baguio... If you want to live in the Philippines, need some cooler temps, and want to feel safe, then this is the place for you. You can always visit the other 7000+ islands and your own pace. I love it there.
Is it safe for road biking there with good restaurants for evening dining?
Quality of your content and the videos are getting better. Thanks for all the effort.
I moved from LA, Calif., USA to Talisay (just south of Cebu) in 2010. I have always felt safe and welcome in the Philippines wherever I go (I have visited Bohol, Leyte, Samar, Palawan, the Kapangan area) the people are the sweetest, friendliest people I have ever met, I found my sweet asawa here. These places are all so beautiful, everywhere I go in the Philippines is my happy place. Philippines is my home now, don't want to ever go back to America, especially Calif. where I come from, all the news that I hear is that it has descended into anarchy. There was a proposition that passed some time after I left that reclassified a lot of crimes as misdemeanors so the police just don't really bother about them because of the revolving door court system. Combine that with George Soros sponsored DAs that don't believe in prosecuting criminals and it seems like the most dangerous places in the Philippines are safer than most Democrat controlled cities in the USA.
We are glad you left sir. I can tell you have built in biases and the proposition that passed reducing felonies to misdemeanors were warranted. They overcharge for crimes here, such as minor drug and property crimes. Those reductions should have never been felonies anyway. I live in LA and I vote in every election. So when you exposed yourself, I knew what you were going to say. Stay there and be happy. Don't come back. Don't vote here if you're living there.😂😂😂😂
@@skybox-fs6dv So you LIKE those mobs that are smashing and grabbing from all those stores? So you like the poop all over San Francisco? So you like seeing drugged out zombies slowly dying before your very eyes?
Interesting. Im thinking of makin the move from Australia. My mrs is from Leyte but i wanna live somewhere not too far from civilization but far enough away where i can get an affordable house and land (1 acre). Id like to be self sustainable and not reliant on govt for reasons youve already cited
@@richiem7716 I don't have any inside tips on the real estate market, but if you wife is from Letey she might be able to navigate better through the system. I know that I rely on my wife to know the ins and outs of living here. Filipinas are very supportive of their man, nice traditional housewife and mommy types, and if Miss Universe contest REALLY knew beauty the Philippines would win EVERY year.
Been to Davao since my wife is from Mindanao and we lived in Malaybalay, we were able to visit there many times. We also lived in Baguio. LOVED Baguio and plan on retiring there. I was in Baguio when the roof got blown off the mall during a typhoon. I was actually IN the mall when it happened. But you are right, Rubeauti, it is safe and a great place to live in the Philippines if you don't like the heat in the rest of the country. My wife and I used to walk late at night around Burnham Park and never had any problems. Of course, I think everyone's been to Cebu. I think Cebu is very safe in certain areas, but can be very unsafe in other areas. It depends on where you are. ;)
PS - Did you ever compete in a beauty pageant? If not, maybe you are missing your calling. You have the 'model walk' perfected :)
She is definitely beautiful
Bagiuo is spectacular, and the cooler climate and no need for air con makes it very wallet friendly. If you want city life, Makati BGC/Legaspi village are great choices.
Been to Baguio in 07 and it does get cold at night so bring a coat guys. Beautiful city nice friendly people and so much more. I live in Minnesota so I know cold, don't need a heavy coat just a light one but make sure it is insulated at least a little.
Been to Baguio & Davao city. felt very safe there. I'm staying in makati in late November. Great video po 😊
Hi Rubeauti. What a nice overview of these top 10 cities. A quick, brief, synopsis of each with just enough info to tell if someone wishes to investigate further. I like quite a few of these but I'm leaning towards Iloilo for a variety of reasons, one being it's central location. Taking a trip anywhere in your country is very easy from Iloilo. Keep up the good work.
I have enjoyed my trips to Dapitan City and to Dipolog and I have always felt safe taking my family with me.
Good vlog Rebeauti! I might have included Puerto Princessa in Palawan although it may be a bit isolated from the central hub of the Philippines.
New sub! Really enjoyed the vid. Lived in Baguio City for 18 months in 1990-91, it was very nice then and I know even much better and more modern today.
TC in Annapolis Maryland
Hello Ms. Filipino, you have done another great blog promoting some of the safest cities in your country to live in for future expats, it is nice to see so many different sides of the Philippines, it's an amazing and beautiful country, stay safe😊
Ms Filipina not filipino LOL
Wow! you're looking fantastic in those videos! Like you say, any place has some crime and unequal policing and investment happens in most countries. Plenty of places in North England where I wouldn't go! Some of those locations you showed us are stunning. Would love to know more about those 'disputed' islands o the map though! Disputed with who? Thank you lovely Rubeauti, really good insight to the cities of the Philippines! 🥰❤️
Perfect timing thank you so much for your hard work on this video I’m going to listen to it during my lunch. I’m addicted to your information and your wonderful personality and spirits and delivering it
Great video.”! You put a lot of effort into this and it shows. Thanks appreciate all your videos!
Definitely love the video! And it is so great to see you so much more confident here than in your first videos. :) I was in Manila recently (in Quezon city: felt the earthquake) and in Bacolod, where I have a lot of friends. Bacolod is a lovely place: felt very safe. Stay close to God. :)
Thanks for putting this list together. I have yet to feel unsafe in the Philippines, but nice to see Iloilo on the list since that is our home base when in the country.
Excellent!
I think I will call this the Rebeauti Pageant! Lol
You might as well go ahead and do a top 10 most dangerous cities in the Philippines. It’s good to be advised where not to go as well.
@@Rubeauti Excellent. I’m looking forward to it. 👍
The good thing about Baguio is that the beaches of San Fernando are within easy reach!
❤👍
Good video. From an attractive and pleasant young lady. The temperatures in Baguio would be amazing
My Wife is from Legaspi, Albay in the Bicol region, it's a beautiful place and safe.
Great information no one else has covered. Well done and you look beautiful as always.
Davao has 911 because of former President Duarte’s and his family. His son is the Mayor and we all know Duarte was tough on crime and probably did some not so politically correct types of punishment but it was effective and crime was reduced. My first long stay (5 months) was in Makati. It was like downtown Los Angeles where I work in USA but doesn’t have all the homeless are drug addicts living on the streets. As with any international travel major city, it’s crowded. We prefer the smaller Provence cities next to the beach. We really liked Dipolog, the don’t allow all the street vendors and limit trikes. The keep the seaside very clean, just like Duma and Iloilo. Believe me, this is not all seaside places. Inland cities are just not appealing unless you’re in a mountain home with view of nature. But places that are just crowded inland cities plus crowded and not clean are not someplace I would want to stay.
Thanks for sharing this great information, I’m looking forward to cycling through many of those cities that you mentioned.
Nobody wants to go to DT LA lol. Please don't ever describe a place like DT LA it's not a compliment 🤣
@@-whackd I agree DT LA sucks for sure. Thankfully I don’t have to go to work there.
Believe me crowded Manilla and Cebu cities are 10x better. Especially the people of the Philippines.
I can’t wait till I’m no where near LA
Ty for the information have to visit them all plus More have fun miss beautiful when you being miss universe from thst walk
Hi Rubeauti ,its a lovely day to communicate with beautiful lady, I thank so for your videos and sharing your collected knowledge with us, me@ my buddy are talking about visiting the Philippines 🇵🇭 as always keep up the good work
Excellent. Loved having the names of cities as text and the maps.
Great information, my favorite video so far. But honestly Rubeauti, it is likely due to the wardrobe changes....You are stunning in each and every dress
My wife and I have a house that's between Santa Rosa and Tagaytay in a gated subdivision. We live off of Santa Rosa Tagaytay Road and we have a good view of People's Park In The Sky. We also live about 19km (12 miles) north of the main crater of Taal. I was there for the eruption on January 12, 2020. I think that the eruption caused it to rain and we had ash mixed in with the rain. It made everything a mess. Then there were countless earthquakes caused by the movement of the magma which shook the house so many times that night, Even after living through that the pandemic came but it's not enough to make me want to move. My wife, sister in law, brother in law and I were in Tagaytay on January 10, 2020 celebrating my birthday (January 9) and I said that it would make good pictures and videos if Taal was erupting. Little did I know that two days later Taal would be erupting. Anyway it's not every day that you get to see a volcano erupting. We went five days without electricity in our subdivision. Just trying to give people something to think about before buying or renting a place.
The 1997 Lonely Planet Guide to The Philippines stated that Puerto Princessa was virtually crime free. I was there in January - February 2000 and can fully attest that it was then one of the most peaceful and under developed capital cities in The Philippines. Virgin rainforest was on the doorstep. I'm aware from Google earth that there's been much development since my visit nearly a quarter of a century ago.
What a awesome video Rubeauti, I think this will be one of the more helpful videos for me when I come to visit the Philippines the end of November. I'm seriously considering moving to the Philippines this will help me decide maybe where I would like to live. Not only for safety but enjoy the things to see and visit in the Philippines. When I come to visit I hope to find a girl that can help me navigate around the Philippines and see some of the more interesting places I am interested in. Your videos are always interesting especially like this one and how life is in the provinces.
Plz have a fantastic day Rubeauti.
Thank you, Rubeauti. That was a nice rundown. It is curious that Davao has 911, but no others. Maybe soon.
Thanks and completely agree. I live in Bacolod and love it.
Oh good! I'm glad my nephew is in a safe place. That's my brother's son. He is in Iloilo City with his wife. They're expecting a baby in December.
You dress very stylish @Rubeauti. Great to see your channel growing. Keep up the great work and the information on the Philippines coming.
Thank you Rubeauti for helping to find the safest places to stay because one day I am going to move to the Philippines see your beautiful country and to visit all the places I can
My wife is from Gasan Marindueque we just spent 2.5 months there this summer and I found it be one of friendliest places in the Philippines. We are going back again in 2 years.
Thank you Rubeauti for this timely information. I am about to retire from the states and sell my home. I am tired of the hustle and bustle of My state and city. I have added you and will watch your other videos. Thanks again for this content. Your smile is Super Maganda.
Oh wow. Well I'll see how it goes for me. I am headed to the Philippines for the first time to Pangansinan. You give good advice and it's appreciated.
Very nice information, u describe in proper manner, Appreciate your way to describe the points
Hi,
I follow your channel from Morocco, a special episode I liked, especially about your detailed explanation, I want to settle in the future in the city of gensan, is it good in all respects.
Good luck on your hard work👍
I stayed a month in ilo ilo, went to guimeras, famous for mangoes, lovely and sweet, wanted to live in panglao but ended up in boracay
This is very informative rubeauti good video 😎 keep up the awesome work
I would love to hear much more about Baguio City -- it seems to have that eternal spring climate since it's almost 1,000 metres in elevation.
thanks for the great vid!! cdo and el salvador city was really nice!! i am goin back again at the end of this year!!
Super Rubeauti does it again! Another very useful video that is quite invaluable to people that have never traveled to your country. Always appreciated 🙂😊
Thanks Rubeauti i need a video like this one. I want to visit all those location, the PH is such a beautiful country
Thank You Rubeuti, I'm most certain the Cebu area, Im certain I'll check out these other locations
Keep Up the Great Work
I love the Philippine people. I always enjoyed my travel in Philippines. This is very excellent video. Thank you.
Yes! Plan on moving to Tagaytay. Glad to see it's on your list. Thank you very informative video.
Hello Rubeauti, I know I’m late to the party but life happens and god has a plan for me. Thanks again for your list of safest places in PH.
Wow! Nakita ko lang ang channel mo sa playlist ni Miguel Maguire (Australian married w/ a Filipina) na nag comment siya sa channel ni Shanta. At naging curious ako sa channel mo, kaya napuntahan kita hehe. Anyway, ingat! Thanks for sharing! ❤
Lovely video. Davao was first on my list. And the model walk ... be still my heart. 🤗
Hello Rubeauti I'm Here again 😊
Great vlog ,Bacolod city looks best for me,looking forward to retiring in philippines in the next 5 years.
Thank you for your research, always nice to hear from a beauty 😊 x
We kept going back and forth between Bacolod and Iloilo, in the end we bought in Iloilo but I don't think you could go wrong with either.
I have lived there for seven years and it is perfect for me.....a good city that is definitely on the up....most things are here for us Westerners. Bacolod is worthy of consideration of a place to settle here.
Great, I going to Davao next week, hope to see some Beaches and the city of Davao
Honey, this is one of the most useful videos I have ever watched. You rock!
Another awesome video very informational thank you so much been watching your videos for a while now doing awesome job God bless good vibes
My GF lives in Iloilo and i will be vistinig soon, so thats good to see it on the list.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you're getting to experience Iloilo. 🤗 I'm sure you'll have a great time!
I would love to visit all those cities. I been to cebu but it will my first time to manila. Thank you for always posting great videos. 👍
This was some good information, thanks :-)
Thanks for the useful info! 💯 Appreciate your willingness to share it.
Thanks for the video Rubeauti. Another topic for a video is cities with the largest numbers of expats.
Wow, I loved each of the intros.
Good info. As much as Cebu has grown I was surprised it made the list.
Thank you for the info, appreciate your hard work
Great safety advice included! Thank you.
Nice video topic that you choose, Rubeauti. I love that you back everything with numbers. That justifies what you’re saying. 👍
I was in the Philippines back in 2011 to visit my girlfriend. It was a nice trip. I stayed in QC and Bicol. Bicol is very different than the big cities from the USA that I’m used to. But the people were so nice to me. The temperature in Manila was so hot, but it was cooler in the province. Plus the pace in the province was slower. I can see myself retire in the Philippines living in a province.
From Manchester 🇬🇧 great content delivered very professionally xxx 😎
Great video and info as always! I'm looking to try Mactan New Town, probably in 8-10 weeks time. I'm very excited to move!
I appreciate you sharing. The Philippines Islands are amazing! I would love to visit one day.
What about 10 top cities that also have accessible high level hospitals without crazy traffic ? Thanks for your video.
Thank you for the much needed information. Especially for one that's looking to retire in the Philippines. And the fashion show made me want to not only hear the next city but also see the next outfit thank you for being the beautiful wise and caring woman that you are keep up the good work.
Hi Rubeauti. Very informative video. Some of the places you mentioned are on my list to check out. I hope to find a good place to make a home base and taking my time to explore. Keep smiling and stay safe
Hello😀. Great travel vlog. Your video's are great. 👍👍🌹🙏
I'm pleased you have turned your light on Rubeauti, I can see your beauty ❣️❣️❣️ better.
You are one smart and beautiful Pinay! I love your videos because it surely would help me on my plans to retire in the Philippines.
I so love Baguio City. I cannot wait to visit again next year and want to retire there.
I stayed in Bonifacio Global city and found it quite safe there but it’s not on the list
i've heard countless times that davao is the safest city, not because of it's location, but mostly because of the martial law in the past and pacification of the city that happened during Rodrigo Duterte's time when he was president. I also know that he is from Davao so clearly he had a special interest to pacify the region, but now, since july 2022, when a new president came into power, are you sure the criminality won't rise again in Mindanao and Davao city too?
Not really because his daughter is now the vice president with Bong Bong and his son is now mayor of Davao City. The Dynasty continues.
The problem for foreigners living in Davao is how close it is to the "Muslim" city and history of foreigner abductions
@@josefshopovich7584 there's no foriengers abduction in the city.. It's always in outside close to Western mindanao
Thank you for the info' but you know what you are the safest person and beautiful person I ever encounter online
Taguig is my city. Just left yesterday, it was rainy season so I stayed two months in Taguig, went around paranaque, Pasay and BGC.
I'm just outside davao city... never had a problem... wonderful people.
Well done my lady - very professional. Also loved all of your intro outfits you wore. Thanks for the effort. I owe you dinner if we cross paths in the future. Be safe and thank you. Uncle T
Thanks Rubeauti.
Its Davao or Tagaytay for me. I spent a week in Tagaytay 5 years ago.
I call it the garden city.
So many nurseries with many plants. I wish I could have stayed to make garden. Maybe this year. 👋
🏼Thanks so much for the suggestion! Tagaytay sounds like a beautiful place, I'll definitely keep it in mind for my next adventure. 🤗
Where did you learn to speak such great English? ....this Englishman is impressed...!! 🥰
My favorite place to visit in the world. I can definitely see myself living there
Thanks for the information and well spoken and insightful ideas. Clearly from a spokesperson who is not lacking in intellect, grace, beauty and charm. Well done!
You are so charming and its useful information served in a pleasant atmosphere and btw, who plays in the jazztrio behind your speak in this vid? Thanks for all ur vids I give you thumb everytime!
Thank you for all the good information...now the hard part is choosing where to live since they all seem great! Maybe try them all!!!😁
Hey beautiful one! ❤ Been waiting for you to post! Is it safe in Mindoro, Occidental?
Awesome work. I just want to hang out for 2 weeks to a month and cycle a lot, so I prefer a cooler climate. You gave me ideas, I just need to do more research now. Thx
I'll be in Cebu City in December .. cycling .. if you're close, get in touch, let's have a little tour together 🚴🏿♂️😎
Good to know info. Your research is appreciated. You look as if you could be crowned as Miss Philippines each time you displayed each city 👍.
If the Miss Universe contest REALLY knew beauty the Philippines would win EVERY year. Most Filipinas are totally beautiful.
One of your best informative videos,,I enjoyed it. 💞
You are a treasure, thank you for all of your hard work in bringing informative vital information to our attention! Thank you and God Bless
I can definitely recommend I.T. Park in Cebu City. If you like modern city life, you'll feel very safe here.
