In 10:20 the fact that he wasn’t stunned is really important because stun effects you speed as well so the omen couldn’t have move from the corner so the phantom spam should have killed him but he moved so he didn’t got spammed

tip for fellow omen mains 14:59 if u ulted for "info" and theyre looking away despite u being the 1 inch away from them than theyre probably doing what woohoojin said to do here. dont get greedy (for most situations not all just use common sense)
I dont comment too often, I have over 5000hrs on CSGO and probably over a 1000 on valorant. Just got recommended this video randomly and love the 5 second rule you talk about. Never could put it in better words. So often my less experienced teammates (edit: not randoms, people in my party, Im not out here trying to teach randoms it just makes everyone toxic lmao) overpeek because they got a 2k and were "feeling it", and I have had to explain why they need to slow down and not do that, but it feels like it falls on deaf ears. These mistakes are prevalent even in the pro scene of both games with people who have over 10k hours on both so I think many people dont actively think about "gamesense" rather think their experience should carry them through bad decisions.

7:30 this has taught me so much. The main thing is that your team (though they act like npcs) are actually people. One player planted there and told no one so everyone flamed him . This was his plan the whole time. Our team also think about the game.

Love these videos, as someone who has been playing Valorant for a couple weeks, and only had a pc for little over a month I am an absolute potato. I got placed in silver and everyone knows what there doing it seems and I’m just running around like a chicken with my head cut off, this is the only game ever in my entire years of living that I have ever bottom fragged in such a low rank. I was top 500 on ow multiple season on ow1, I’m currently Diamond on pc, I top frag any other game I play, but this game specifically has me stumped. ive been trying to implent my eyes on the minimap when im not first in line but theres always that ich that the person in front of me is also looking at the minimap while pushing so i just have to constantly go back and forth but the chances of that happening are like 25%
My biggest issue personally, is every time I check my minimap to see what my teammate might see, I always find a way to die, whether its me also watching a possible angle, and hearing shots wondering if my teammate is okay or not, the split second of me looking away, and looking back I find to die. It happens on Pearl a lot for me. I realize I need to just have more faith in my teammates, but its really really really hard sometimes in SIlver or lower elo's. Or I just need to unpeek and just chill. I've had a time where my team 5 man entered A Main to hard push site, and there was one by screen's that popped out of my omen smoke there, and just fired randomly, and it hit me, out of any of my teammates. I was so maaaaaaad
You're looking at the wrong times. If you're holding an angle don't take your eyes away from the angle. If you want to look get back into cover. I've done this mistake too but I've learned to just focus on the angle I'm holding and don't look at anything else because someone could peek at any time
i had +400rr but im low elo UwU im hard stuck gold 3 but got deranked to silver 1 then able to ranked back up to gold 2 within 2 days without losing and ive been taking notes from the other youtuber coach and it is working well and ive been doing good and apparently my enemy was peaked Plat and D3 and Asc1-2 i started to take advice on u guys ever sinced the deranked happen and after that i got gold 2 really fast i hope i will get plat this month

Always worth a shot, there’s requirements you need to meet prior to submitting a VOD but the wisdom on your OWN gameplay is always worth it. It’s free too, so why not?

3:19 i think he was smoking right side on top incase someone comes that way he knew since there was a wall that if he smoked that angle anyone coming from that top angle wouldnt push in because of smoke so he could push left with his teamate (could be completely wrong ive only played val for 4 days and watch your vids for tips so i wouldnt know whats best in this situation but thats what i would do). edit: i also think he was staring at the wall what you said was "nothing" to see if there was a corner exposed so he could peak through it it happens alot to me and i always peak through a little gap it gives me easy picks unless someones expecting it.
At 10:45 in the video I don't think holding W and spamming there was the wrong play. Had the player actually been stunned his initial spam wouldve killed him, but 100% unlucky that not only was he not stunned but was also using a shotgun

the omen stun isnt extremely true it messes up the movement and in the short amount of time he wouldnt of been able to move that far. probably wouldve lost fight either way though lol

Make sure you have a good grasp of the fundamentals so coaches can give more personalized advice than just 'go back to square one'
