I don’t even play Valorant, I’m a long time Counter Strike guy but these vids are really fun to watch. I wish my community had someone who broke stuff down like this. Steel used to, back in the day. Styko is good nowadays but there’s no banana.
Used to love watching steel one piece of advice that always stuck with me form him is it’s not always about the kills or plays u make but rather the deaths that u don’t have.
I love how intricate and complicated plays can be made in this game, and is the reason why I'm so addicted to the game. It's such a rewarding experience when studying the game pays off.
@@Pariuxbut the recent status of valorant doesn't have that much complicated, if people get better aim in average rank than this wet dream can become true
Just taking a minute to thank the Banana. I've learnt a lot watching valorant vods since the beginning. i'm not a ranked demon (I barely play) but I enjoy the strategic aspects of the game. I recently jumped back in my favorite game, Tarkov, with the release of their tactical shooter, and I found myself much better after a long break, because I can still apply what I've learnt about reading the enemy team, adapting my plays to theirs, coordinating with my teammates and their utilities and capabilities, etc... even in a different game, it's change the way I look at the strategic approach of my team plays in a video game, and that's something no other coach even got close to. keept it up Banana man, merry christmas, and a succesful 2024!
This channel is very informative and entertaining, it’s super fun to implement the stuff I learn here into my unrated and swiftplay games because my casual ass only ever played comp like 5 times over a year ago out of curiosity for my rank
As someone that plays kayo frequently on ascent this was great insight. Also, this is unrelated but you mention that Tenz clip in the beginning and I remember watching that live and I believe it was sarcasm as he was extremely tilted from his bad teammates and was malding lol
Its pretty funny hearing woohoojin say hes not a fan of the dart flash combo, he might mean in that situation, but im pretty sure thats one of egs lineups that destroyed so many teams when combined with a sova ult or to prepare for rushes
56:00 my first instinct was to push left there... we do know exactly where KJ is, because you can see exactly when she gets the bomb down, meaning the timing is in your favor to push left gen there! asuna almost got timing'd by trying to push back
at 42:17 i mean yea it is slightly omen fill diff but i think subroza was trying to flash the guys that were pushing cat from window thats why it went low maybe
Just a note on the high A main flash Asuna throws on Defense - It’s because Sova has ult, so if they can’t break the dart and get scanned then you can create an opening.
Thank you Woohoojin I was hardstuck silver for almost a year before I saw ur videos today I hit diamond for the first time(4 months after discovering you) . But the grind ain't over yet thank you for the videos much love❤❤
@@utsavmisra1292 agent choice doesn't really matter as much if you're below diamond/ascendant. Playing Reyna (maybe Iso now too?) is completely fine in low elo. Presumably, if he has been watching Woohojin, then he has been playing Reyna these 4 months, and now is probably trying out other agents that make more impact in mid/high elo. If you're looking for an agent to play because you're also Diamond, most duelists are your best bet for solo queue (Jett or Raze are best, but Phoenix and Yoru are fine too, just not on every map), for controllers obviously Omen and Viper are the best, for sentinels I'd say just avoid Deadlock, for initiators I have no idea but it probably doesn't overly matter (you might have a hard time finding gecko vods to watch though).

this video makes me super impressed on how good pro players are, but at the same time, it makes me not want to be a pro player watched the entire hour of this (with 2x speed)
52:21 looks like an intentional jump because his crosshair dipped down to counteract the jump effect. If the jump was accidental then we should see his crosshair fly above the jett briefly before he realizes and bring it back down, thus the jump was intentional
I liked watching your videos but I quit valorant and don't have the time to spend on valorant analysis videos anymore. You're doing great. I'll take my leave now. You helped me a lot in understanding how to think ingame using maths.
the jumps like in 52:22 are a consistent problem in Asuna's plays. at some point I had made a whole compilation of him jumping unnecessarrily/unintentionally in pro games and losing fights/rounds cuz of it. ik i'm a lowley diamond and blah blah blah, but it happens quite a lot for someone to not have noticed it.
I think in 48:18 he hadnt the read that reyna is main, more likely that he wanted to plant the spike where Sova from under can play with it (=better plant spot). If he had the read he could have planted it save from main
I almost don't spend any time on Valorant and other competitive games in general cause of studying but your analysis is always very interesting to watch.
Fun fact subroza played open for tsm. There’s probably a reason he misses certain util, like the 1 way. It wasn’t as popular when he was playing omen a lot. The missed flash is most definitely just he’s in a rush or something. To assume subroza doesn’t know how to through that flash is unlikely.
