dont be discouraged from trying though. if you have some higher rated friends that can help you improve, you'll climb really fast (don't just get boosted, get real tips and ask what you're doing wrong). valorant was my first game on KBM coming from cod/console gaming. i was iron for a short period, bronze-gold for a while, flew through plat and diamond, and have been stuck in ascendant for the last few acts. grinding to immortal this new act.
best ways to improve are from watching vods from pros that play the agent/role that you play and copying their playstyle/habits on each map, watching videos from youtube coaches like konpeki, woohoojin, teets, and videos from the plethora of agent specific immortal content creators. there are plenty of amazing map analysists and agent guides out there. there's no rank criteria to using lineups and high level setups, but make sure you get your mechanics down. i personally like woohoojin videos the best as he has a playlist for each agent on whatever map you want and can find one where he's reviewing someone at your similar rank. he also has some mechanics-specific videos that will help a lot as well.
the number 1 thing is consistent practice, if youre playing almost everyday, warming up in the range, and practicing crosshair placement in deathmatch, you WILL improve. aimlabs will speed things up as long as youre practicing the right way and not burning yourself out. just some tips if you feel like you don't know where to start to get better.

this is the reason why i love @LilyPichu so much. i feel like nowadays people don't really care about hard work and dedication. me as a valorant content creator who sucks at the game at first but with patience and positive mindset actually we can improve in many things. now I'm gold 2 in just 3 months. so what I'm trying to say is that, people only care about highranks but why not care about the person effort of climbing and learning the game. i realised that when I'm just gold 3 people skip my video and tell me I'm sucks. so lily just keep enjoying what you doing and keep improving with valorant and I hope you can reach the rank you wanted. remember rank is just a rank but what truly makes you a person is you !!!

This came up on my feed and it’s nice to see someone else with the same struggle. And unfortunately this game’s community hasn’t changed from this. People in Bronze thinking they belong in Ascendant+ and blame everyone but their own gameplay

9:30 the fact that she got a 4k from just hearing "fight. headshot. fight. headshot. PUSH. DON'T RUN AWAY. fight. headshot." is so funny to me but it also makes sense in a weird way. Go, Lily, go!! Radiant in no time.

I'm proud of you that it didn't actually even take 3 years, it basically was just about 9 weeks to go from bronze 2 to gold 1. Took me about 3 weeks to go from Iron 3 to Bronze 1, and about 48 more weeks to get to silver consistently playing about 3 matches a day. I have now been silver for 3 weeks and I'm probably going to be stuck in silver for a year or two.

It also took me almost 3 years to hit Gold and now I'm on the grind for Plat. Crawling out of bronze was the hardest part, once you hit gold the game does get slightly easier I think.
