Based on the squid game video, I expected toast to be the one to game every task, but Michael actually went big brain on all of them.
To be fair, Team China actually thought it first and they had no time to think about their strategy because they were first. Micheal even said that he didn’t think of this at the beginning

I remember that Yvonne was pretty serious about playing tennis before she got into gaming, so she's probably pretty athletic especially compared to the other OTV members.
When you actually count up the seconds, Celine was faster than Michael at the chopsticks. It was only cause of Yvonne's lung compacity that they won the rice game.

Yvonne was crazy with that water. Like, seriously, are we going to overlook how she poured it perfectly in the middle of the cup without taking much time to figure it out and didn’t spill a single drop?
Especially right after Lily's absolute buffoonery, it was so satisfying. She actually tilted the pot and touched the cup with the end of the nozzle so she could aim perfectly.

I love seeing Michael use logic to give himself a practical advantage in achieving each of the challenges. 1. With the rice: he piled up the rice on the side of the plate closest to the bowl. 2. With the water: using the feel of the cup and the sound of the cup to estimate the water within it. 3. With the ramen: using the corner of the plate as a guide for Yvonne to shovel the food into his mouth, making Yvonne only have to repeat a single simple movement over and over. All simple solutions, but effective none the less.

Like you said, almost everything nowadays is derivative, or at the very least can be traced back long enough to someone else who had come up with an extremely similar, if not identical concept. Nowadays, I believe the key thing to focus on isn't originality, but execution. Considering a big part of OTV is the personalities, the "blind trust" challenges chosen for the video managed to be topical to the Japan theme while still allowing for everyone's personality to shine through. Calling them brilliant may be a bit of an exaggeration, sure, but they served the purpose for the video well. By that measure, the challenges were well chosen.
I love seeing Celine in an OTV video. Please have her on more!! She's definitely one of my favorite non-OTV member.

After discovering OTV this week and working my way through the back catalogue, this is a lot of fun. Great personalities with a video style that just keeps improving. It is remarkable to see the difference before and after Brodin's introduction to the team.

Team Arson did a really great job. with the right planning and strategy, you can clearly win. No offense to the other teams but other teams did not plan or have any strategies as such as what michael and yvonne did so kudos to them and they really showed with teamwork, you can overcome and win challenges
