I definitely think there will be at least a few companies that will try and get Fuko to sign with them. She has the visuals, is good at Korean despite not being native, she can sing and dance really well. She struggles at rap, but if they put her on for main vocal/center, she'd have no problem. She wasn't able to debut this time, but I just have a feeling, maybe no time soon, but one day, she'll debut. I have faith, and when that time comes, I'll stand by her every step
In my opinion Kim Minsol was robbed after having the vocal unit performance, she deserved to go to ILand. I agree the others deserved it but it seemed the pds arranged the scores of the girls in the creative ground unit to pass to ILand. For me Minsol should have passed instead of one of the girls in the creative ground unit.

i think jiyoon was so good that she outshined minsol and they completely forgot about minsol. i remember taeyang saying that he wishes for an only jiyoon cover of the song... which was kinda mean ngl
@@denisse3883 the line distribution and the outfits were unfair. Minsol only sang in the beginning and one chorus and the rest of the song she just did some ad liibs. Also Jiyoon’s outfit was amazing while Minsol (for me) looked really weird.
Oh not just iland. She should’ve been rank 1. Her vocal agility, ability to harmonize, falsetto, and use of dynamics for her age was mind blowing to me!! I’m an opera singer and I will always be supporting Minsol and Um Jiwon because they’re so extremely talented for their age.
Really hoping she tries again in another show and gets more opportunities to show us what she's got!!
Her, Gyuri, Sujung and Juwon were the ones that really stood out to me and didn't get to debut.
I'll be following and rooting for them all if they decide to keep trying!! ✋ 😊

I really hope gyuri and fuko can debut together. they're so close. it would be really good for them to have such a good friend in their group when they debut. They were on the same team in like 90% of the performances for iland and they were always together so i think them debuting together could be a felix and chan kind of dynamic
Idk if I watched a wrong translation but I watched the episode after on Viki and 24 supposedly said they didn’t choose Mai for her visuals because that wasn’t enough, it was because after the final performance they knew she was ready and then Taeyang said that he criticized onstage as well as offstage and Mai was the best contestant offstage, that she always stayed after the intermin check to ask the pds for advice, and that they were going to last for 7 years and her personality was key for maintaining the group together.
It was probably because the miss of live translations, it show that 24 said they choose her for visual, while the one you're watching are subtitled manually by translator so it should show the right translation

Honestly think that gyuri might get snatched up by SM for their 5th gen gg. Cause her vocals remind me so much of the SM style and by the time she debuts she'll be a bit older too (she's only 15 and that is too young for the nightmare that is kpop stans. Plus if she'd debuted in izna she would have been hounded by whatever stans didnt have their one pick in the final lineup) Fuko should honestly go solo . She should go the same kind of route as kwon eunbi becuase she would devoure that sort of concept
Fuko should NOT go solo. Her vocals are decent but she’s way too nasally to carry a strong solo act. Especially when soloists like Jo Yuri, Yena, Eunbi, Somi, Alexa, etc are all still very popular.

3:50 I wish Juwon really got screen time as they say, but everyone knows our queen didn’t have a single second of storytelling and screentime (she was only shown crying and being a sassy American (which is the funniest moment of iland imo) in part1 and struggling to latata in part2).😢
My only disappointment from the show is we never had jiyoon and fuko on the same team - final love song cause that's more independent I would have loved to hear them harmonize

I love Fuko and will support her having a bright future.
However during the final seeing the Kep1er members there made me think up a wild theory. Since Kepler is in wakeone and if the girls are still trainees at wakeone if wakeone could slot popular trainees to debut like Fuko and Yuju into kep1er since their other two members are leaving. It would generate a lot of buzz about Kep1ers next comeback and bring in even more fans. Just a thought, plus Fuko was in GP999 so she probably knows some of the members already. 🤔

I’m so tired of the “X should go solo” argument because the most famous soloists right now have history in the industry. Taeyeon and Girls Generation, Sunmi and Wonder Girls, Kwon Eunbi and Iz*one, etc. etc. Rarely do people every tune into kpop soloists that are fresh and from small companies, I don’t wanna hear this solo argument anymore because people don’t actually show up to support the soloist, it’s so upsetting

@@ishaalandzahabiashow120 I'm glad you agree, but IU blew up in a completely different time when the industry was far less saturated, I feel the only reason modern kpop stans tune into IU is because of her legacy and talent.
People call Gyubin the modern day IU but her company is struggling to push her and she hasn't captured a whole lot of attention yet. The general attitude towards idols who aren't instant hits from most kpop stans today is that they're 'flops/nugu' and those types don't want to tune in. My point is, debuting solo without a big budget behind you is like trying to climb a mountain on your hands and knees with no gear. Also, companies aren't much better than kpop stans, if an idol or group isn't successful it's a 50/50 on whether they give up and disband the group within a year or two.

Nah fr. Plus a lot of artists that people want solo just don’t have the energy to carry a solo act. Look at Chaeyeon fucking flopping. I hate it cause she’s talented but she doesn’t have the vocals or the stage presence to make it solo. That’s why Yena and Eunbi are eating up their solo careers 🤷♀️

She made 12k first week sales on her recent comeback and she always does decently, I think she would have been doing better off in a group and she's not the most successful soloist out of the iz*one girls but she's staying afloat atleast. I do agree her stage presence is severely lacking though
An opinion I don’t feel many might agree with is, I don’t feel as izna is the right group for saebi to a degree, I genuinely rooted for saebi and she was definitely always in my top 7 as I watched the show, due to her stage presence and center quality. I adore her relationship with all the other contestants especially her, koko and jeemin, and I also can see saebi fitting most concepts with the other girl. But I feel as saebi would be better of as a center of another group, as most can agree that jeemin has been marketed as the ideal center for izna, which I agree with. But I feel nervous imagine jeemin and saebi stage presence overlapping and some what overshadowing one another. I do trust that they can work together, but I feel as saebi would look better as a center of a group. But then again I can hope that the producers fairly distribute the parts highlighting all the girls equally.
I agree with the last comment so much... i wanted Yuju to debut so badly that i started to dislike (and not hate) Saebi so much cuz Saebi became an instant producer pick. I was confident she would debut, so my focus went from "#1 Saebi --> #1 Yuju".. it's a pity because even tho i liked jiyoon and saebi so much i couldnt vote for them cuz my ults are usually rappers.. if i ever like Izna it will be bcuz of jiyoon, I'm still dissapointed so much that Yuju didn't debut... honestly i feel this show was completely rigged when Sujung was eleminated.. it was pretty much after that we knew who's gonna debut and who would not. my predictions were 99.9% correct after that... but now i guess i have no problem with the final lineup cuz its somewhat close to what i wanted it to be.
Also i don't get how Yuju wasn't popular.. she was in 2 other survival show.. its crazy how she failed 3 times now.. shes so talented I'll root for her.
I hope she pulls a natty card and debut in a popular group that fits her😢
She was literally my number 1 pick from the start I voted for her every day and when she was eliminated i literally cried i am so sad for her

My favorites were also sujung and juwon from episode 1
All three got eliminated
I literally cried for them
But thankfully all three have insta account now so i can be updated about them
Actually this was one of the least rigged survival shows.. Sujung‘s fans just didn‘t vote that much.. and also she wouldn‘t fit in a group, she would be better off as a soloist
I think making jongeun 10th in rank was a part of the show to make her famous because not much people focused on her before as they saw she was good and was safe but after good performance when she got 10th peoples attention went to her and she became popular. So i think it was meant to make her popular

I feel like this opinion is a bit outdated bcs it happened so early on in the show but the IWALY performance judging really made me mad. The judges so clearly had favourites and based some of the winners like Sarang on just that performance and others on all their performance on the show like jungeun. It was so inconsistent. I think they should have based it on just the IWALY performance bcs there was no point in doing that challenge for contestants like Yui and LingLing who in my opinion did better in IWALY than their opponents, but because they were up against Fuko and Jungeun they literally had no chance bcs of preconceived ideas abt them. Idk I like how the lineup turned out anyways although I really wanted Juwon, Yuju and Fuko in there this was just something I thought was a bit unfair.
A more recent opinion I think Sarang is talented but the way the judges would come at contestants like Yuju for the smallest thing but then praised Sarang for her voice crack was crazy to me like the favourtism really showed. But thats not Sarangs fault thats judges or productions fault.
Also Minsol was so underrated she shouldn't have stayed at ground after eyes, nose, lips.

Oh definitely they had favorites through the whole show. Saebi was never criticized for her bad dancing, Mai was never criticized for her poor vocals and rapping, Sarang was never criticized for her singing, Koko was never criticized for her vocals. The only girls in the final lineup that were semi-flawless during the show would’ve been Jiyoon and Jungeun. Jeemin was forgettable but we all knew she’d debut because of RUNEXT’s rigging. The fact that Sarang, Koko, and Mai were always praised for being well rounded meanwhile Yuju, Yui, Sujung, Um Jiwon, and Minsol barely ever got any recognition for their skills easily proves just how rigged this show was against some girls 🤷♀️
I agree with Yui, but not with lingling. Imo jungeun won by a mile, Idk what you mean cuz personally i think lingling sounded awful (no hate) in fls she did great and sounded good, but not in iwaly
@@WASz_UP because she got lines too high for her. They could’ve changed the ld for the final lineup and given her one of the first two parts (previously main dance or center) as well as some of the “its the final love song” parts and it would’ve worked fine. Her lower register is one of the best developed from the show and I was sad to see that no one actually cared about making sure she had lines that fit her. In IWALY you can clearly hear that she had a better lower register than jungeun even. Obviously the second line was done better by Jungeun but the first line with the “you fool” part she was able to release gracefully unlike Jungeun who actually struggled on that line. Lingling does need more training. She tends to overextend lines and needs to work on her confidence as that’s the main factor of why she has voice cracks (and it probably affects her dancing as well) but yall give her too much criticism and not enough praise because she has good qualities, yall just don’t wanna look at em because she also has glaring issues. I’m an opera singer btw and an ex dancer of 10 years so it’s not like I’m inexperienced at singing or dancing either 🫶
@@WASz_UP imo Ling ling did better in iwaly than fls and she sounded really good in iwaly. I think she portrayed the song better than Jungeun who didn't show much facial expression and Jungeun didn't sound as flawless in that performance as usual btw Jungeun was one of my fav contestants with koko so I did want her to win but I can't deny that I thought Ling ling did way better but bcs Jungeun was so popular with contestants and judges Ling ling was at a default loss.

Not true. Sarang is the most popular in china by a HUGE margin.... One of her fancams alone has 180 MILLION views. the producers simply couldn't ignore such popularity.

I mean... Saebi is pretty talented no? She's a decent rapper (Idk why nobody ever talks about her lovesick girl rap which she was gonna do but gave it to Koko after some problems in the intermediate check), decent vocalist, and a decent dancer.
In my personal opinion i think fuko had a better visuals than mai and people are saying "she has alot of Japanese fans" well fuko is also Japanese and koko too so they should have a great Japanese fan base even if mai dirnt debut btw you know the show was rigged when the storytellers was shocked after looking at the results and now i know nobody is safe i thought she was safe but No so next time i am votting for everyone even if i think they are safe i dont want a jiwoo and fuko insident ever again.😢
Fuko is good, but not outstanding at all, she's not eyes catching, and always stuck in her safe zone, when ever the producers would challenge her to try something new, she would step back, even after long years of training, she's not a promising trainee to be honest

i think beauty is really subjective. i think both of them are SOO pretty but i guess just looking at statistics, mai's visuals are more attractive to more people (she always has high (or the highest) view count in tiktok/ig videos/reels)
Fuko had a more standard visual appeal, meanwhile mai’s visuals are “audacious” if you get what I mean. You can find stunning visuals like Fuko anywhere in kpop, but mai’s is unique and trendy. That being said, I think both girls are gorgeous. Fuko was even compared to Irene. But mai is more eye catching to me
people really thought they were going to put 3 full vocalists in a group, you guys are so delusional, jiyoon and jungeun are so good that they are enough, and all the others are decent vocalists including mai and sarang no matter what they say, others are good at rap, dancing and stage presence (saebi, jeemin and mai) which is a very important factor.

I think Fuko wasn’t even meant for debut because her teammates in Fake It preferred Jungeun as a leader instead. Probably if she were going to debut in the group not even the members would have want her as a leader.
It's sad personally I thought she was a better leader bc she is more encouraging I wish we saw her more as a leader so atleast she got more votes and screan time.😢
@@EzaanNaeem i saw a video explaining how fuko was a better leader when she was in ground as the grounders were more prone to struggling and they need encouragement. however, when she moved to iland, where most trainees could cope themselves, her leadership and encouraging side just disappears because it was not needed most of the time.

@@MBJK_baby they won’t choose the parts in the group themselves so that point really doesn’t matter. I think Mai fits better as a leader but Jungeun as the members said is very efficient and more strict which will be beneficial when they have to learn multiple choreos, wake up early, have schedules, and overall being more organized.
the ratio of korean votes to global votes are honestly insane to me. The fact that overall Yui had 50k more votes than Gyuri globally but Gyuri had 10k more in korean votes but still won by 10k points. the way they do the 50% Korean n 50% Global is weird asf n the fact that you could be so popular globally but not that much locally n it’ll kick you in the booty. (examples Jay n Keita in BP)
I think the main reason why the line up is actually good is because anyone in the final 12 could’ve debuted and it still would’ve been good(as long as one of the main vocalist debuted)
I feel like jungeun won't be center, because producers even teddy an the last ep were pushing jeemin as center

@@Enhypenluveri personally think the pds could’ve given her more encouragement and constructive criticism due to her not being comfortable rapping or speaking english. i was hoping they’d swap jungeun&fukos rap parts to see if fuko could do better, even to just trail it but i feel like they just gave up on her💔

Fuko is a monotone performer, she shows the same every single stage. Same facial expression, same energy, and skills. Which in the long run the PD forgot about her and thought someone else is better. Plus becoming an idol is not just about being talented.
And i honestly agree with the PDs for picking Mai and Saebi instead of Fuko. Fuko is talented but she lacks what idols have, being able to attract audience or having that Wow Factor. Shes so forgettable recently to the point wher her loyal fandom decreased after Pt2 started.
agree, and i think a contributing factor is because she is not confident enough to go out of her comfort zone. so she always performs the same thing and style which is not good as it does not give viewers/fans something new/fresh
Just because Fuko lacks a wow factor doesn’t mean she shouldn’t have been the pick. Mai has poor vocals poor rap mid dance and high visual. Saebi has poor dance decent vocals poor rap and high visual. Fuko has song writing abilities, the best leadership out of anyone on the show, good vocals compared to most girls on the show, mid dancing (but better than Saebi and basically the same skill wise as Mai). The only thing she lacks when compared to Saebi and Mai would be stage presence and visuals, stage presence is easily trainable, look at how much Sakura developed between the end of pd48 and the beginning of Izone. Like deadass you can get your stage presence up in a few months where it takes YEARS AND YEARS of training to be good at singing, rapping, and dancing and is extremely hard to be able to produce your own lyrics at times and have it actually sound good and not cringe. Fuko could’ve been a huge asset to the group but instead they’d rather have strong visuals and stage presence.
@MBJK_baby your argument is so flawed in many ways.
First of all, an idol's job is not just singing and dancing, which requires them to have abilities other than just being able to perform, which Fuko lacks. Additionally, vocal abilities aren't restricted to the support tier created in Tiktok. All the girls are vocally gifted. They would not be able to perform if they weren't.
Second, Mai and Saebi are so much better than Fuko when it comes to dancing if you want to argue that. Talking about leadership, that faded when Jiyoon, Jungeun, and Jeemin's ability to lead the group were showcased in PT2. She has leader-like abilities, but so do the others.
And let's be fr about the whole IWALY, she wrote ONE LYRIC, one. That does not fully showcase her ability to write a whole song. The girls' writing credits can not be measured as of now.
Lastly, again, to the main point of my comment, having that Wow factor is not just about stage presence. It's how you can attract an audience. For example, yuju showed a different side of her during the drip. And what you call just "Visual and stage presence" are talented, babe.

Saebi literally cannot keep in time. I think there’s moments in every single performance where she was offbeat. Embarrassing you think she’s good when she has GLARING issues.
Jungeun isn’t a good leader. She doesn’t listen to others well and lacks maturity. Jiyoon and Jeemin are ok but overall Fuko definitely had the best leadership abilities shown on the show.
Also 1 writing credit is better than not having any. The girls that didn’t get their songs chosen obviously aren’t as good writers as her, point blank period.
She would attract people from Japan in the same way Koko and Mai would. She’d attract people who like cute voices like Moka and Sana. I could go on about certain demographics she could attract. That’s not a good reason to add someone to a group.

Jungeun a bad leader?? Then why did everyone from Fake It unit voted for her instead of Fuko?? Answer that if you still think she's bad. Plus, these 4 girls are naturally born leaders, and Izna already has 3.
But that writing credit is One honey, her writing abilities cannot be measured right now, although she wrote one, but so does the other girls, the difference is that we haven't even heard their verses yet. Some might be good base don people'sdifferent opinions.

I honestly love the line up ... My bias is Jeemin (our center, lead dancer,lead rapper, FOTG),Jiyoon (main vocal), Jungeun(leader,main vocal, lead rapper, lead dancer), Koko(main dancer, main rapper), Mai (co-leader, visual), Saebi (visual, maknae) and Ryu Sarang one of our all rounders

Jungeun shouldn't have debuted. For one, Jiyoon, Mai, And Jeemin are basically the favorites . Jiyoon for vocal, Mai for KBS and jeemin for marketing and popularity.
The pds don't care about jungeun so I know wakeone will definitely not give a damn. Not going to lie yall pushed her into this inviroment that she most likely will be over shadowed upon. This is a ke1pler 2.

Amen on that sarang comment. She really shouldn’t be in the group. Same with Mai. There were girls who had better vocals and dancing and rapping than the two. Yes they were some of the more well rounded girls but with Yui and Yuju being there we should’ve never seen Mai or Sarang make it in the final lineup imo. They just need more time to train.

@@ynfrcs be so fr. Jungeun, Jiyoon, and Jeemin are the better vocalists. After that it’s Saebi because she has a developed lower register. After that would be Sarang because she has a proclivity for voice cracks. After that would be koko as she is decent for a Japanese idol but definitely not up to par for kpop and then after that would be Mai. (This is from what I’ve seen as an opera singer of 2 years and ex dancer of 10). On the show there were lots of better vocalists. Yuju, Minsol, Gyuri, Fuko, all have better technique than Sarang. And sarang’s dancing is overrated. In the show her best performance (I ranked every girl during every performance) her best performance would’ve been the ilander vs grounder final love song stage. The best part about Sarang vocally would be her lower register but since Saebi already has the best lower register in the group she is not going to be helpful in creating harmonies or anything. She’s a decent dancer, better than Mai and Saebi but definitely not as good as Jiyoon, Jeemin or Koko and arguably even Jungeun.

it wouldn't make sense to have yui, yuju, and koko in the same group considering mnet pushed them to compete over the main rapper position ... yui's vocals were lacking outside of rapping and yuju was outshined by koko while performing spicy causing koko to be the one picked between them. having all three girls would cause an unbalanced group imo ...

My unpopular opinion is that they gave Mai barely any screen time...other than getting to be the leader once, I swear every time they did a montage of the contestants, everyone would have this long winded story/scene and I kept waiting for Mai's but there were just barely any parts that focused on her.
It could be because of the language barrier with her not being fully fluent but still, I feel like they did her dirty with the editing- if they'd given her more of a backstory, maybe more people would be rooting for her

I was genuinely confused, because I noticed during part one Mai got a lot more screen time, but during part two I can notice that other contestants even ones that most assume the editors didn’t like, got more screen time then Mai. I feel as this might have been due to Mai’s fan base being “solidified” before part one, and the producers found this as a time to give more contestants screen time. But I am still baffled at how they purposely edited out mai from most of part two.
