I’m personally okay with the update. I feel like we’re used to being VERY spoiled. Like the summer update we got a TON of items. This update we got a couple brat items and some hair and makeup They were cute but I think since the devs talked abt it being so big people expected more. It’s big bc it’s an update with an actual celebrity, not bc of the amount of items. People hating the theme voting as a whole is CRAZZYYYY to me but everyone has their opinions lol. Also, I feel like it’s kind of hard to make an update around an album instead of an entire artist. With an artist you have many iconic moments to draw inspiration from (imagine a Beyoncé collab and we get the Hold Up dress and a baseball bat, probably won’t happen but 👀). It’s a cute update and I feel like people are sorta picking the update apart a bit TOOOO much.
Exactlyyyy 💅🏽 just the fact they got the collab is crazy to me. I wasn’t expecting anything crazy, I was just excited to see what they came up with! This definitely opens more doors for different collabs so that’s really the best part! Also, the devs work so hard on this game😭 they STAY updating and listening to the community.
I’ve been liking it lately bc the skirts are so cute ^^ the boots too! Those have been the only items I used since I don’t know how to style the other ones :3

i can understand the concerns for kids playing the game but honestly- it really doesnt seem all that bad to me, i don’t think anything in the update is really like that. more specifically though, dti seems to really care about they’re players. recently the runway changed so that people wouldnt get eye strain, they’ve added back things people like, they made a whole darn dance as an emote, they added vitiligo and such- like- dude, they care. if this was that big of a problem i do think they would immediately try to improve the update!! :,3

Honestly, the only issue I can think of in dti rn is that the male section is so limited? Like ok, they added new times for them but it’s literally going at like 4 items per update and also, I think male bodies should 100% be able to wear the girl items too, leaving that out just excludes creativity. And yes, I’m talking heels, dresses, skirts, galore. Why can’t male bodies wear those? Also, just a small nitpick but it would be nice if they could add more body types in the game, overall practically the same nitpicks with royale high lol.

One of the devs on discord said they're working on it. It's just taking a lot of time because they have to go in and edit ALL the female clothing to fit the male body.
Might be a hot take but I wish we got to choose different body types in dti. Like I love it but also I really get the ick from all the models we get being super skinny ‘ideal’ unrealistic fashionista stuff. Average looking bodies and fat bodies can be pretty too so I hope in dti’s future we get not only the male model being able to wear the feminine stuff but also like, more body types to choose from in general beyond just the super skinny and buff ones

Plus it would change the waythe clothes fit. They already are working on rendering it for the males( i think) and have school ofc. Hopefully in the future though!

the thing is, your argument isnt quite sound because there ARE people who aren't happy with roblox for their content - in fact, MOST people aren't. and the issue with saying that last part is that you can focus on multiple issues at once, and you can ALSO focus on one specific issue that is especially popular at the minute. like e.g. yes there's so many wars and shit going on, but the situation in gaza is currently incredibly drastic and needs a lot of attention. doesn't mean the other wars etc. have to be neglected, but its just a matter of which issue is the most pressing. and the reach DTI has on minors is immense at this point too, as DTI is promoting a music artist's album with sexual themes. OBVIOUSLY these minors will look at the music in question, and therefore be exposed to topics they shouldn't be exposed to in such a way, especially with the glamorised drug usage... thats just my two cents though minors shouldn't be exposed to shit like this through a GAME as this will have them misunderstand topics they should've been introduced to by a professional or trusted adult
I understand why would ppl complain about the bright green. I wear glasses and my vision is not the best. But it also depends on the graphics, in your video your graphics looks like they're very low so everything looks low quality and that makes the lights brighter than they actually are. I have high graphics on so to me it looks more dark.
The only “NSFW” pose would be “So Julia”; but DTI is already on the re-work pose for it as it’s been misused, and I’ve personally seen it. But besides all that, I wasn’t available to join straight away, and when I did first join. It was like it came out in beta again; that’s how impressed I was. Then to see my old, classic-favourite vip mermaid skirt returned made me cry. I’ve been begging for that skirt back since it left. DTI listens and always serves, some of the hate/negative comments comments I can understand depending on the view and how it’s being expressed. However, since beta, all the updates leading to the brat update, they never failed to make me quit DTI; just made me want to stay more. They’ve come along way it feels like, even know it hasn’t been that long. There’s a lot of positive feedback I can give, and the only “negative” one I can give is how sometimes it’s laggy. However, that’s not DTI; it’s just the server itself.
As a mom with a teen daughter and a pre-teen daughter who both play dress to impress, I think that the pose “So Julia” isn’t that bad! It’s the people who come on the game and use the pose in a suggestive way. My girls both know that they shouldn’t engage with those people or entertain it. It just really depends how mature your child is! Just educate your kids to not use poses wrongly! Sometimes I even play dress to impress, and since I love Charli XCX, she was an icon in the 2010s (throwback to the Boom Clap and Fancy era!!) I’m so glad that Charli is getting the recognition she deserves and the fact that me and my girls can bond over something like music and fun games together! Also, when I was their age I always listened to songs with adult themes that just went over my head, if they just have fun listening to their favorite songs then I don’t see anything wrong with it. It’s some people who get the wrong impression which isn’t wrong just their concern! But I feel like my 12 year old isn’t gonna understand what a pose called “Bumpin’ That” means and it want mean to be suggestive. 🍏🖤😝
That’s true! I don’t mind it either. Maybe after the BRAT update they’ll do some more work on the voting and making it better for players. So far though, I think every 3 rounds of voting is pretty good.

I don’t think this should really be an excuse but a reason cause at the end of the day as a game developer you have to be prepared for criticism or critique. Kissing developers feet and telling them everything is amazing is how you get developers like the Royal High team who don’t do anything cause they know RH players (especially the robux spenders) will kiss their asses every.single.time to the point where when it’s time to critique them (like earlier this year) they have selective hearing

True I actually started playing Roblox at like 5 but my parents would make sure nothing bad happens so they didn’t allow me to chat back then and put on parent controls as well as my irl age now I’m older so I still have some parent controls but my parents make sure I stay safe personally I think more parents should be mindful about what their kids are doing online like how my parents were :D

headache is still a symptom from overstiumlation tho. it comes in many different forms and bright green plastered near everywhere can definitely still cause headaches and/or certain effects. also, if someone does feel those things from overstimulation of brat green, it's not like they can help it besides leave the game and take a break. these things manifest in so many different ways and it is ok what people feel from it because it is normal. you can't decide what is and how overstimulation works. it just happens. not sure if it's what happened here for real for real but it still COULD be overstimulation because it's a circumstance with so many different symptoms and ways of manifesting.

I do understand the concern about kids under 14 or 13 for the brat update, but what does concern me is the update coming for Halloween with the Lana lore. The reason it concerns me is because the developers that do the Lana lore show that there may be a new map that’s more creepy and that makes me concerned about the younger kids. I wouldn’t want the kids who are younger get scared.

Okay first of all that RH shade was funny Secondly My only complaint is like...if you're gonna go green, black and metal, go all the way? I don't mind the green I just can't play for very long without getting super overstimulated, I just wish they'd like had followed suit with the special stage and done a full special lobby that matched. Some of it just looks a bit...meh. TBH i've always considered DTI being a bit more for pre-teens/teens/adults than young kids with some of their clothing choices they've added into the game. Some of it and the attitude some of the players carry in the game and how they tend to use it is definitely inappropriate. However at the end of the day clothes are just clothes and how you use them is the very important difference between nsfw and perfectly fine. Like you said, it's up to the parents to monitor their kids and make sure that they are okay with their kid playing dti, that's not on dti to manage yo kids.
That would have been cool actually. The dressing room being all BRAT, or even if it just looked like a backstage. I think updates usually take them 2 weeks if I’m not mistaken? So they might have been crunching for time. And THE RH SHADE WAS WELL DESERVED TBH 💅🏽😂

Honestly, I don't love the update, but I don't hate it. First off, it might not be the most appropriate update for younger players considering Charlie xcx is confined for more mature audiences. Second, I don't really like the new theme voting system. I think it needs some work. Third, I don't know what the developers were thinking when they added the "so Julia" pose. I mean they saw what people do with pose 28 lol. But, at the end of the day it's just a game people should not be this pressed its going away in less than 2 weeks anyways. 💀😭

@@aericloude I agree! I think the most questionable collab I’ve seen in Roblox is the Ice Spice “Munchland.” I love Ice Spice but the word “Munch” is not appropriate for a children’s game. Plus they had “gimmie a light” playing in the game like what 😭 If she had some clean songs, sure, but none of them are. There’s definitely a limit. At least with this collab they kept it cute.

I honestly hate the new voting theme thingy because most people will vote themes that are too hard or you don’t like. And rn it’s super hard for me (and other people) to find a theme we like. And also another thing is that when one of your friends are playing dti and you play dti without joining them, you join your friends and I keep rejoining to not join my friend, but no matter what I still always join my friend and it’s super annoying. I don’t know if it’s just roblox or dti. Edit: pls tell me if I made sense or not- I don’t think a lot of people get it lol.

I think everything is fine besides the complications of putting possible NSFW themes in a childrens game. In a server the other day, there was girls talking about doing drugs and none of it was being censored out by the tagging system which is crazy. Obviously in songs, you tend to overlook the meaning of things, especially when you are young and innocent; but the inclusion of these themes means more players will reference it, which then could be the cracks that these children slip between. Being a young girl and knowing that other people who play the game you love talk about how good drugs are means that they will become curious and when they are a little older (because lets be fr people start doing drugs in their EARLY TEENS) they will be less apprehensive when accepting, thinking that's what makes them a cool party girl instead of being knowledgeable of the dangers. We should teach kids about drugs when they are around the age where they may experiment, but we should teach them the dangers, realities and how to look out for extra dangerous product. Anyways yapping aside there should just be a 17+ server so that young kids aren't dragged into conversations not appropriate for them and so people can have normal conversations without worrying how young the other players are!
I honestly love the update in general! the new clothing items, beautiful hairstyle, makeup, and finally some good licensed music to listen to!! (everyone would start club jumping in the dj area once Charli's music plays 😆) What i really felt mixed about the update was the new voting system.. since players (mostly in regular servers) vote the easiest or the most overused themes instead of the challenging or interesting ones. Luckily, Gigi listened & decided that it will only appear once after 3 rounds with automatic themes to choose from, but still.. im pretty much skeptical about it 😬 Overall, incredible update in dti

Honestly upon seeing that there was a brat update I was not pleased. I was tired of seeing the apple dance all over my fyp. I’m not a fan of the artist or their music (I know absolutely nothing about it lol). But honestly, after playing it it’s not worth being upset over. A lot of the stuff they added is pretty cool. I was streaming me and some other streamers playing the game so I was a little stressed out when I realized there had been copyrighted music playing in the background without my notice for a while. I’ll live, though. Overall, this update is not my cup of tea but I can definitely appreciate that it’s a good collab, and I’m really happy to find out how awesome the dev team is. As for kids listening to the music, tell that to people who pick the songs to play in restaurants and stuff. Like bro no kid is going to escape music with adult themes, I’m sorry.
The thing is I'm hispanic and the lyrics of most spanish songs that were played were about shaking ass or doing the dirty and I didn't know and I still had fun singing along or dancing to it with family because no matter the lyrics its all about dancing to the beat. i mean that’s kinda how opinions work. people can be open about what they dislike just like others can be open about what they like (as long as it isn’t downright rude ofc). when creating something for the public, you kinda have to face the fact that some people won’t like what you put out there. sure, some things don’t need to be said, but that doesn’t mean that others can’t voice their own opinions. the creators should be open to legitimate criticisms such as people not liking the new voting systems, poses, clothes that were added, etc. or what they should add to the game to make it more inclusive for their players. they should also be open to people saying things like “this update kinda sucked”or “i didn’t really like this one.” because they’re gonna be said regardless. people aren’t going to hold back their opinions or critiques just because of how much time and effort a person put into it. but, people should also know what to say and what not to say

What I hate about it is the bugs every game. Usually I can play a few rounds before clothes won’t pop up but now I join a sever and two seconds in all the clothes just deload. I can’t color the brat clothes, the skirt won’t let me color the white cloth, I can’t color the brat shirt second toggle, and can’t color. This isn’t related to the bugs just the same dti problems.. voting, ever game since the update I haven’t seen one server vote fair, I get dragged when I say the podium isn’t on theme…
5:20 honestly I don’t mind the colour green and I know it can be annoying but there was a theme called - green I managed to make a outfit with no fluorescent green or neon green but if you don’t like the green join a different server since many other people are looking at the new update.

I was telling some1 why I was quitting, and they were like “WOW SAYING THAT TO OUR FACES?!” bc they thought I meant them.. and surprise surprise- I didn’t, like I didn’t even know them- but we argued and the whole server was starting to side w/ me bc it was my opinion, there was some rude ppl sayin that I should kill myself if I didn’t like the bingo thing and that’s what made ppl mad at them, well a couple minutes later I left bc other ppl were yelling at them, and honestly I was done w/ it.. the only reason that started was bc I was trading my rh items for mm2 guns and knives, obvi bc I was quitting & someone came up to me and asked “why are you quitting” later on in the fight she said this was only bc she wanted to say bye, but yeah she started yelling at me through chat and I js got fed up w/ it.. she also for no reason said to me that “THE RH PLAYERS WORK HARD!!” and I was like “I didn’t say they didn’t work hard..” & she was like “YOU JS BASICALLY SAID THAT” like JS BC I DONT LIKE THE UPDATE DOESNT MEAN I DONT THINK THEY WORK HARD- LIKE I CAN HAVE MY OWN OPINION.. on another post abt rh I had said, “yeah I quit bc all they care abt is money, and they don’t even do what they’re players want” and a whole fight started between people, but yeah the bingo thing to make MORE money was kinda a breaking point for me and it kinda pissed me off that they were that selfish, also they never made many male body types, which made me mad from day 1 but I let that go, until they basically stopped making male items and I was done, but then they started making a lot of irl money and robux items and I js quit, I actually used to adore and play this game everyday but I decided I was done with it and I quit, but ya sorry for venting thanks to the ppl that actually read this-❤DONT FREAKING FIGHT OVER MY OPINION PLS😭✋
I feel like the people that play dti are pretty lucky to have so many updates so often (in my opinion,) so it sucks that people are complaining about the one that only lasts 2 weeks 😢
As someone who plays dti a lot I meet lots of 12-18 year olds through chat and VC The little kids i meet I get super mad as I just like hate how they win every round when they are trash not to be mean but i think it's fine I go to pro servers a lot. the second thing I don't like charli xcx I think her music is....But this is coming from someone who loves rock and metal did I like the update? well yes and no I think it's great! but i do wish for stuff that said "brat" on it if i could toggle it off or that maybe people wouldn't just keep doing brat it gets boring and makes me mad. The promoting adult themes to kids makes me go "why?" i'm not a parent but My thought process is why are people mad? I wouldn't say there is adult themes or stuff I do believe that since there is a lot of adults and older teens on dti they can definitely be a little more 18+ I do sometimes do adult stuff like dressing like stuff but in servers im in we make a deal if we know a kid is with us we will tone it down BUT i will say parents who see it as inappropriate just make sure they don't play dti if that's their problem and I do think there is bigger thing to be focused on like con games and predators people need to notice no matter the game there will be the bad side like meepcity But that's my thought

I agree with you that the DTI update really isn't that bad in general for kids, however I do agree with the original posters that this will definitely inspire at least some kids to google "brat" and see stuff they shouldn't. Yes, it's the parents job to monitor what their kids do, but not every parent does. Most of the time a parent thinks they're monitoring well enough, or just say "don't do that" but since the kid grew up WITH the internet and knows the ins and outs, knows how to sneak things past the parent. Also IMO I liked the theme voting, in my experience when the game just randomly picks themes, it picks too many random ones that people don't know well and then dress improperly and vote improperly and it's frustrating. Like Tudor Period or Roaring 20's. Or, for things like formal, most people put on 3 items and are done and it's very boring to see similar outfits over and over again when voting. I personally voted for what would create the most interesting outfits with most variety. I also only play DTI with friends, so it was easier to be on the same wavelength when it came to voting themes. Maybe they can have some servers with theme voting and some without in the future.
My problem is that everyone in the dev team was hyping it up saying it’s the biggest collaboration in Roblox history But it ended feeling small compared to the summer update which was much bigger but supposedly less important I still like it but yeah

I didn’t know of the Charlie XcX album before hand, I thought it was bratz and some how Charlie XcX was tied in too; so when me and friend was so excited to see some bratz styles and then when we got in the game we were confused but then we figured it out. I think since I misread and thought it was bratz style I was a little let down by the clothes but that was definitely my fault. I like the theme voting, I just hope they add a lot more themes. I also like the poses and makeup and hair. And as someone who was chronically online when I was little and chronically online now, It definitely messed me up a bit but I do not blame the people of the internet, I blame my parents for not keeping tabs on me and my internet use when I was little 😭

I’m personally okay with the update. I feel like we’re used to being VERY spoiled. Like the summer update we got a TON of items. This update we got a couple brat items and some hair and makeup They were cute but I think since the devs talked abt it being so big people expected more. It’s big bc it’s an update with an actual celebrity, not bc of the amount of items. People hating the theme voting as a whole is CRAZZYYYY to me but everyone has their opinions lol. Also, I feel like it’s kind of hard to make an update around an album instead of an entire artist. With an artist you have many iconic moments to draw inspiration from (imagine a Beyoncé collab and we get the Hold Up dress and a baseball bat, probably won’t happen but 👀). i can understand the concerns for kids playing the game but honestly- it really doesnt seem all that bad to me, i don’t think anything in the update is really like that.
more specifically though, dti seems to really care about they’re players. recently the runway changed so that people wouldnt get eye strain, they’ve added back things people like, they made a whole darn dance as an emote, they added vitiligo and such- like- dude, they care. if this was that big of a problem i do think they would immediately try to improve the update!! :,3

Honestly, the only issue I can think of in dti rn is that the male section is so limited? Like ok, they added new times for them but it’s literally going at like 4 items per update and also, I think male bodies should 100% be able to wear the girl items too, leaving that out just excludes creativity. Might be a hot take but I wish we got to choose different body types in dti. Like I love it but also I really get the ick from all the models we get being super skinny ‘ideal’ unrealistic fashionista stuff. Average looking bodies and fat bodies can be pretty too so I hope in dti’s future we get not only the male model being able to wear the feminine stuff but also like, more body types to choose from in general beyond just the super skinny and buff ones

the thing is, your argument isnt quite sound because there ARE people who aren't happy with roblox for their content - in fact, MOST people aren't. and the issue with saying that last part is that you can focus on multiple issues at once, and you can ALSO focus on one specific issue that is especially popular at the minute. like e.g. yes there's so many wars and shit going on, but the situation in gaza is currently incredibly drastic and needs a lot of attention. doesn't mean the other wars etc. have to be neglected, but its just a matter of which issue is the most pressing. and the reach DTI has on minors is immense at this point too, as DTI is promoting a music artist's album with sexual themes. OBVIOUSLY these minors will look at the music in question, and therefore be exposed to topics they shouldn't be exposed to in such a way, especially with the glamorised drug usage...

But it also depends on the graphics, in your video your graphics looks like they're very low so everything looks low quality and that makes the lights brighter than they actually are. I have high graphics on so to me it looks more dark.

The only “NSFW” pose would be “So Julia”; but DTI is already on the re-work pose for it as it’s been misused, and I’ve personally seen it. But besides all that, I wasn’t available to join straight away, and when I did first join. It was like it came out in beta again; that’s how impressed I was. Then to see my old, classic-favourite vip mermaid skirt returned made me cry. I’ve been begging for that skirt back since it left. DTI listens and always serves, some of the hate/negative comments comments I can understand depending on the view and how it’s being expressed. However, since beta, all the updates leading to the brat update, they never failed to make me quit DTI; just made me want to stay more. They’ve come along way it feels like, even know it hasn’t been that long. There’s a lot of positive feedback I can give, and the only “negative” one I can give is how sometimes it’s laggy. However, that’s not DTI; it’s just the server itself.

As a mom with a teen daughter and a pre-teen daughter who both play dress to impress, I think that the pose “So Julia” isn’t that bad! It’s the people who come on the game and use the pose in a suggestive way. My girls both know that they shouldn’t engage with those people or entertain it. It just really depends how mature your child is! Just educate your kids to not use poses wrongly! Sometimes I even play dress to impress, and since I love Charli XCX, she was an icon in the 2010s (throwback to the Boom Clap and Fancy era!!) I’m so glad that Charli is getting the recognition she deserves and the fact that me and my girls can bond over something like music and fun games together! Also, when I was their age I always listened to songs with adult themes that just went over my head, if they just have fun listening to their favorite songs then I don’t see anything wrong with it. I don’t think this should really be an excuse but a reason cause at the end of the day as a game developer you have to be prepared for criticism or critique. headache is still a symptom from overstiumlation tho. it comes in many different forms and bright green plastered near everywhere can definitely still cause headaches and/or certain effects. also, if someone does feel those things from overstimulation of brat green, it's not like they can help it besides leave the game and take a break. these things manifest in so many different ways and it is ok what people feel from it because it is normal. you can't decide what is and how overstimulation works. it just happens. not sure if it's what happened here for real for real but it still COULD be overstimulation because it's a circumstance with so many different symptoms and ways of manifesting.

I do understand the concern about kids under 14 or 13 for the brat update, but what does concern me is the update coming for Halloween with the Lana lore. The reason it concerns me is because the developers that do the Lana lore show that there may be a new map that’s more creepy and that makes me concerned about the younger kids. I wouldn’t want the kids who are younger get scared.
Hopefully they put an age requirement like 13+. I don’t want my daughter to play it and get scared either 😭

Secondly My only complaint is like...if you're gonna go green, black and metal, go all the way? I don't mind the green I just can't play for very long without getting super overstimulated, I just wish they'd like had followed suit with the special stage and done a full special lobby that matched. TBH i've always considered DTI being a bit more for pre-teens/teens/adults than young kids with some of their clothing choices they've added into the game. Some of it and the attitude some of the players carry in the game and how they tend to use it is definitely inappropriate.
However at the end of the day clothes are just clothes and how you use them is the very important difference between nsfw and perfectly fine. Like you said, it's up to the parents to monitor their kids and make sure that they are okay with their kid playing dti, that's not on dti to manage yo kids.

Honestly, I don't love the update, but I don't hate it. First off, it might not be the most appropriate update for younger players considering Charlie xcx is confined for more mature audiences. I think everything is fine besides the complications of putting possible NSFW themes in a childrens game. In a server the other day, there was girls talking about doing drugs and none of it was being censored out by the tagging system which is crazy. Obviously in songs, you tend to overlook the meaning of things, especially when you are young and innocent; but the inclusion of these themes means more players will reference it, which then could be the cracks that these children slip between. Being a young girl and knowing that other people who play the game you love talk about how good drugs are means that they will become curious and when they are a little older (because lets be fr people start doing drugs in their EARLY TEENS) they will be less apprehensive when accepting, thinking that's what makes them a cool party girl instead of being knowledgeable of the dangers. We should teach kids about drugs when they are around the age where they may experiment, but we should teach them the dangers, realities and how to look out for extra dangerous product.
Anyways yapping aside there should just be a 17+ server so that young kids aren't dragged into conversations not appropriate for them and so people can have normal conversations without worrying how young the other players are!
I honestly love the update in general! the new clothing items, beautiful hairstyle, makeup, and finally some good licensed music to listen to!! (everyone would start club jumping in the dj area once Charli's music plays 😆)
What i really felt mixed about the update was the new voting system.. since players (mostly in regular servers) vote the easiest or the most overused themes instead of the challenging or interesting ones.
Luckily, Gigi listened & decided that it will only appear once after 3 rounds with automatic themes to choose from, but still.. im pretty much skeptical about it 😬

Honestly upon seeing that there was a brat update I was not pleased. I was tired of seeing the apple dance all over my fyp. I’m not a fan of the artist or their music (I know absolutely nothing about it lol). But honestly, after playing it it’s not worth being upset over. A lot of the stuff they added is pretty cool. I was streaming me and some other streamers playing the game so I was a little stressed out when I realized there had been copyrighted music playing in the background without my notice for a while. I’ll live, though. Overall, this update is not my cup of tea but I can definitely appreciate that it’s a good collab, and I’m really happy to find out how awesome the dev team is. My biggest issue is the new items not being able to use patterns.

I agree with you that the DTI update really isn't that bad in general for kids, however I do agree with the original posters that this will definitely inspire at least some kids to google "brat" and see stuff they shouldn't. Yes, it's the parents job to monitor what their kids do, but not every parent does. Most of the time a parent thinks they're monitoring well enough, or just say "don't do that" but since the kid grew up WITH the internet and knows the ins and outs, knows how to sneak things past the parent.
Also IMO I liked the theme voting, in my experience when the game just randomly picks themes, it picks too many random ones that people don't know well and then dress improperly and vote improperly and it's frustrating. Like Tudor Period or Roaring 20's. Or, for things like formal, most people put on 3 items and are done and it's very boring to see similar outfits over and over again when voting. I personally voted for what would create the most interesting outfits with most variety. I also only play DTI with friends, so it was easier to be on the same wavelength when it came to voting themes. Maybe they can have some servers with theme voting and some without in the future.

I didn’t know of the Charlie XcX album before hand, I thought it was bratz and some how Charlie XcX was tied in too; so when me and friend was so excited to see some bratz styles and then when we got in the game we were confused but then we figured it out. I think since I misread and thought it was bratz style I was a little let down by the clothes but that was definitely my fault. I like the theme voting, I just hope they add a lot more themes. I also like the poses and makeup and hair. And as someone who was chronically online when I was little and chronically online now, It definitely messed me up a bit but I do not blame the people of the internet, I blame my parents for not keeping tabs on me and my internet use when I was little 😭

Honestly I don’t have a problem with this update, HOWEVER I hate when ppl use the brat items EVERY SINGLE ROUND, and the voting for themes is great because it could reduce the amount of players asking what the theme is or going off theme.

I think its great, but the only think that threw me off is they said it was gonna be the biggest DTI update and it wasent, and i just overall dont like the green. But the stage is gorg, the poses are cool and the items are pretty nice aswell! Love DTI though!
Dress to Impress did an amazing job with the Brat update! I don’t listen to Charlie XCX but I think the update is everything and the Devs really put passion into it! 💚🍏
