i've never really been into survival shows but i remember watching the MITM performance from GP999 and my jaw DROPPED. i literally downloaded an mp3 of the audio so i could listen to it offline. all three girls were phenomenal, but fu yaning would have been SUCH a great idol if not for... yknow. the racism and the evil editing. sigh.

Honestly, I get where you’re coming from. There aren’t many amazing vocalists and the performances and even the cheers are heavily edited. Like… No hate to Sungmin, but we all saw the live video and he sounded horrible. Like downright terrible. Voice cracks and strained and shaky, yet in the episode it sounds so crisp and clear as if Dohun was singing it. Wtf???? I think p7 isn't doing a good job making all the trainees feel different from each other. I feel the same about most of the singers, all i know is "this group of people have done well in singing positions" and same with the dancers. Like, if i want to truly get to know their personalities, i have to watch extra content outside of the episodes :( So many trainees are so talented. I would usually finish deciding based on who i like more in terms of personality, but i feel like I've been fed crumbs😭
