This is a very stripped down version from the original, and I love this the most
    Aurora never uses autotune👍
According to British radio station BBC Radio 2, "Life on Mars?" has "one of the strangest lyrics ever", consisting of a "slew of surreal images" like a Salvador Dalí painting. Spitz said the song has a theme of optimism.
In the song, a "girl with mousy hair" visits a cinema to escape from reality. Sandford writes it "sets up a complex parallel world in which the cinema becomes life". After the girl becomes "hooked to the silver screen", Bowie uses an array of images that are typical of films, naming Mickey Mouse, John Lennon, "Rule, Britannia!", Ibiza and the Norfolk Broads.
"Life on Mars?" has no connection with the planet Mars; the title is a reference to the intense media coverage of the contemporaneous US-Soviet Union race to reach the planet.
One question to Aurora: When is your next album being released?
I feel I know so much about her, so I can’t come up with great questions lol

I love the cover. This cover fits me much more then original. What's make difference is her voice, emotions, maybe also because it is strip down (which work great with her voice). And yes Aurora play piano (she learnt to play it by herself as a child without any formal education or theory).

I feel like if this doesn't move you at least a little, then you need to reevaluate your life!!! Oh yeah, she collects dead moths, ask her about that!!!

These are very enigmatic / inscrutable lyrics from Bowie, and Aurora sang them correctly as Bowie did, but his original song is a rock song much faster paced (3m53s vs 5m44s) with percussion and guitar riffs, so this is a very different version.

You are very sincere and that i am glad for. I love Davids song but for me have AURORAS cover so much tone quality, sincerness, pure emotions and heart to the original and for that i love it so much. Good luck on the interview but it is nearly impossible i think!!!

She changed the arrangement and the whole mood of the song!!! It takes a talent to take another song they love and craft it into something even more meaningful!!! Sara Bareilles covering Elton John's Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road is another great example...

Aurora, I love your songs about our place in the Universe. If given the opportunity, would you do a concert on the Moon?

I believe tthe song is about the cold war between USA and Soviet Union and how silly it was.
Same old men today, cave men, fighting and being silly today as when the song was written.
    Humans never learn.❤

Nice seeing you appreciating her talent, IMO, she is the best there is. She was, or I guess still is, a big David Bowie fan and she did treat this song very tenderly with much love put into it, she is a master at putting emotions in her songs and her covers. I would just want to know when she will get back into the studio to make her next album, like LillM said for her question, any other questions, she is my go to girl for info, we are friends off of YT too..

The only song in Aurora's repertoire I do not like. She's my all time favorite singer, seen her live and love her but this song is a dud for me.

I love her rendition, I didn't care for David's version and I am a pretty big fan of his. Music is very subjective, all according to personal taste. I can pretty much honestly say there isn't any song of hers or cover by her that I don't like, but, of course there are some I love and some I only like. Have a great week fellow Warrior..😍
