This is a true story. 20 years later, they married. They have been together 30 years with children.

Probably my all time favorite song and video from the 80’s, and I know that sounds crazy after artists and videos from MJ, Prince, Madonna , Tina Turner, Journey, Hall & Oats, Van Halen , The Police, Billy Joel, Lionel Ritchie,Pat Benatar, etc. But it just sends waves of nostalgia over me, as I was in my 20s the whole 80’s decade. The 60’s, 70’s and 90’s were great , but it was truly something special about the 80’s , so blessed and privileged to experience. And this song and video says it all about the 80’s! ❤️✌🏽👍🏾😎🥲

I was with my dad who passed fairly young at 55 but it was quick . it's my mom passing from stage 4 cancer during covid that grabs my heart when I hear this. We home hospiced and had a year of treatments, quiet resolve and the steady decline thru end stage to say our goodbyes. I truly tried to chase her monsters away. She passed quietly in her sleep. Like James Blunt's dad she was much more stoic than I. I would say "hey mum, I've got a secret" and by the then she would just give me that sweet smile and say " I know, you love me"😢🥲

May I suggest "Time Stood Still." it has the same effect

I understand that the man reacting so strongly to the performance is LP's manager. The playback on the video seemed slightly out of sync, compared to the original video released. LP's mother was an opera singer. She died of breast cancer when LP was very.young. At.a certain age, LP had a double.mastectomy performed as a proactive measure, given the family history. And incredible composer, singer and pure artist.

I have followed Blue October since before they got radio play. Justin's ability to write lyrics for you to understand, empathize and to identify with has got to be second to none. The fact that you were able to put so much together just by listening to this one song should open a lot of people's eyes to his magical musical wizardry. All of his albums are so unique in their musical styling. You seem like you would really enjoy his earlier albums, he was so angry and brutally, openly honest and it truly reflects in the faster rhythms and tempos. His whole album Any Man In America is basically about his life when he was trying to get some form of custody for his daughter, Blue and not as much hard hitting as is it heart hitting, especially for any of the fathers out there that know what it is like trying to prove that they are good dads that want to be a part of their children's lives.Thanks for doing this reaction and much love to everyone out there!
