Incredible performance and great cover. I agree she made it her own. You just hear and understand lyrics and she sings it with so many emotions like it was her personal song. And even if you ignore this emotions her singing is also beautiful (but of course emotions are important part of this performance) + she play in the same time (she learned to play piano by herself when was a child without teachers). Very good reaction!

I saw your vid and when you began yawning I said Petra is fighting it but I thought your fans would understand and give you a pass that most hard working moms should get. I am hesitant to say this but there are many folks young and old who come onto reaction sites looking for something to gripe about--anything. Granted Aurora is a very soothing artist who's peaceful style is sleep and dream inductive. And if one did fall into deep sleep while listening to Aurora the dreams that follow would be sweet ones I''m quite sure. I love this cover and I loved your reaction. I'm 65 and I'd never heard this Bowie song until a few months ago when I discovered Aurora. It is Aurora's version that gets to me. I lose myself in this. Bowie's version is just very David Bowie, and Aurora's version is very AURORA.

Aurora is, hands down, my ultimate artist of all time. And I grew up during the Linda Ronstadt…Eagles…Fleetwood Mac…Prince…Sade…to name a few.
And, many of her recordings are so soothing and relaxing that I, also, feel like just resting my brain and might’ve yawned too 🤷🏽♂️

I've lost count of the number of times I've watched this version, which I think I prefer to the one performed by Aurora in Trondheim's Nidarosdomen because it's more intimate and because of the magical tones of the Rhodes piano. You mentioned that you yawn a lot and it is just how you are. I have experience with a close family member that had the same thing going. I encouraged her to tell her doctor more about it and she was sent to specialists. It turned out that she had a blood imbalance that effected her oxygen absorption in her lungs. After treatment she noted a tremendous improvement in her energy levels. Please do not just accept what ever you are dealt without investigating it thoroughly. You deserve better.
