That's awesome! Good work sir. You can't go into neutral without the engine on. I've got the dct in my 335i and it annoys me so much. The amount of times I just want to roll it forward without starting the engine but can't 😭 did you set the oil level in ista?
You're right. A DCT cluster has a scquare around the gears on the cluster. And it will not go further than m2 in sportsmode when not driving. I think it controls the wheel speed off all 4 wheels. So the only way to check, is driving it🤗. Dutch regards Nico.
I was just doing xhp flash on my buddy's 335is, and yea it just has the normal display like what you got, those with the large square display was on the M DCT clusters, can be coded in the kombi cluster module. But the stage 3 xhp flash made a night and day difference! Shifts are crazy fast! In manual with the sport and DSC off it lights up the tires on the upshifts from 3rd to 4th gear on pilot super sports, much more fun to drive! Just how insanely quick it shifts! Thats on a full bolt on 335is with stock turbos with the MHD OTS stage 2+... The 18psi map.
So Nice to see your progress on the DCT swap. I have a 335i from 07 so assuming more or less the same as yourself. But mine is with a manual gearbox .Would it be possible for you to share how you would solve that? Would you buy a regular harness from on like your car or would you get one from a DCT one and install that in my manual 335i? The DCT harness from the doner car is that for sale 😆
Unfortunately you would just need to make a harness from the centre console to the DME box. I'd buy the factory DCT hardness from the box to DME box and the rest wont be too bad. Off the top of my head around 6-8 wires would need to be run to the DME box on the manual car.
Could it not be going into 3rd as the hood is up? Not sure if these have a sensor for it… but I remember you had issues in the past with one of cars you road tested
i hate to bring back an old video but im currently going through the interior wiring of my swap. did you just repin everything or splice? also did you install the harness from the donor car or use yours? thanks

Your right with the wheel speed sensors/abs fault. I have a faulty one now and when in manual mode it shifts by itself in 2nd gear only, won't rev out. Every other gear is fine. Also the gear display on LCD looks the same, has sport in same spot etc. Will check later if it has box around it

That is all correct. Are you familiar with the difference between coding and programming? Coding is done with NCS expert and basically sets the modules options. Programming is done with WinKFP and is the modules firmware.
I am familiar. I think I may know what they are talking about, and correct me if I’m wrong, after you program the VO #0909 and $205 you then default code it to MSD81/CAS/Kombi/IHK/JBFE/NFRM/GWS, is this correct?

“Code ECU: MSD81/CAS/Kombi/IHK/JBFE/NFRM/GWS
Program MSD81 on Zub 7628542
Program GS40 on Zub 7600042
Update you Kombi/NFRM/GWS”
That is all correct. Are you familiar with the difference between coding and programming? Coding is done with NCS expert and basically sets the modules options. Programming is done with WinKFP and is the modules firmware.
I am familiar. I think I may know what they are talking about, and correct me if I’m wrong, after you program the VO #0909 and $205 you then default code it to MSD81/CAS/Kombi/IHK/JBFE/NFRM/GWS, is this correct?
?
Sorry my phone was being stupid, didn’t mean to respond that many times lol
Did you ever get this sorted? I'm stuck in the same spot.
