Does the DCT need water cooling aswell? Ive built quite an elaborate water cooling setup with it's own rad and electric water pump just for the DCT and would like to delete it if I dont need it.

Unless I missed something, you are coupling this transmission to a LS. Right? If so... what kind of adapter did you use or was planning to use?

No, good ol trans cooler with a thermostat works.
why you want to put more oil than bmw recomend ?
More fluid for cooling.

Dct adapter is from Domi works. Are you referring to the thermostat adapters or the oem bmw thermostat?

Wrong fluid man…. The GTR trans and the bmw dct are completely different.
How? We ran this fluid in the current fastest f80 in the world without issue.
@@Thenameskam yeah man atleast for bmw dct's of this generation it uses the clear brown fluid either pentosin oem fluid or motul/ams oil DCT fluid.
