Thank you for visiting us Marie and for sharing this very comprehensive video of our museum and our unique view on times gone by. We hope to see you again.
Thanks it was very enjoyable. I'd like to see how the yet to be completed part turns out. I hadn't heard of you so I hope I bring it to peoples attention.
PENDON MUSEUM (Near Didcot). Used to be renowned for its exquisite representation of the "Vale of the White Horse" the (Great Western Railway) mainline from Didcot to Swindon & beyond. With absolutely everything, trains, track, buildings etc., ALL HANDBUILT. The track is true scale (P4 - 18.83mm between the rails, not commercial track). Pendon is NOT a Toy train set, but a professional Model Railway representing the GWR in the 1930's. Which has taken over 50 years of work to get to where they are today. Indeed I did a little work on this layout back in the 1970's !!!!

This is amazing. How wonderful. Thank you for sharing. Hope you are having a lovely weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
I haven't got a drone so I just have to make the landscapes smaller
A lovely place. Sadly, I never saw it in its "Portakabin" days. Excellent layouts. An inspiration for the children!
It was good to see lots of little children interested. They had special steps so the kiddies could see.

It is truly splendid a hidden gem in Oxfordshire that doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
