This game sounds so weird in english. I usually don’t mind english dubs for stuff like Naruto and Death Note, but for those very original japanese games and movies, like Final Fantasy and Miasaki movies, it just sounds weird.
It is a date obviously only that Tifa being very shy doesn't say it directly, keep in mind that they have not seen each other in years and are practically meeting again.
Tifa was so shy in the original. I like her outward personality here but I also thought she was so cute shy and finding it hard to spill her feelings

The way he says "Yeah maybe !" with optimism really took me down, knowing fully well what he's been through and what was to come after.

I mean that's Zack's girl, obviously they are not better than Cloud and Tifa who are an actual couple
