@@thehermit8618 tbh, she was already like that in the original. they just leaned heavily into it and they now have amazing character models and voice acting to spice it up a lot more. i've always loved Aerith. she was never just a meek little flower girl. even before she met Cloud (and a certain someone else...), she was being hunted by Shinra and knew how to take care of herself.
@@renw9876 honestly, i never saw her as some meek and pious girl but in the og FF7 i feel they portrayed her as more of a sweet girl with street smarts who is willing to do what it takes so her character felt strong but still refined and subdued. This version of Aerith ramps up her bubbliness and self-assurance to such an effective degree that its compounded with her already great image to create that of a strong young woman who is sweet and does what it takes but is also very unfraid to march at her own beat.
this Aerith has a zest for life that probably always existed but its just more apparent in the remake

Super happy how this game turned out but I wish they would of left the part in in the room where your stuck with a bunch of guys and they're slowly chasing you around the room and you can't escape. It's a super uncomfortable feeling.
