The main problem with most of us, is that we want ready made answers for everything, which is never possible. So, it would be best that these techniques that we see, must be practised and performed with our friends or anyone.

    • @MemeGang420
      @MemeGang420 5 лет назад

      Hey milton tyler. Self defense and martial arts are two very different things. If you want to be a real fighter and safe in the real world then you gotta get yourself into an MMA gym AND a self defense class. MMA will teach you bits of boxing and Muay Tai (for striking) and bits of wrestling and Brazillian Jui Juitsu (to fight on the ground). Self-Defense classes will teach you awareness, knife defense, gun defense, effective attacks against real opponents.

    Well done, guys. If I have said it once, I had said it a thousand times - the most effective techniques are always the simplest. The more complex the technique, the less chance you have of pulling it off successfully, especially in the street when tensions are high and adrenalin starts affecting fine motor control. Concepts and situational awareness are far more important than the actual techniques. The approach to defending against grabs involves either breaking the attacker's grip, or pinning the attackers hand against your own body and then twisting the wrist or whole arm at the elbow clockwise or anticlockwise while rotating your body. Trapping and locking the hand or arm while they are off balance allows you to control them before a sweep, a throw or strike. Generally, the best way to stop an attacker is to take away his motivation or will to attack. And this invariably means inflicting pain to highly sensitive targets. For example, instead of trying to break free of someone who a grabs you wrist, arm or lapel, counter with a hard whip-like strike to the fleshy, underside of the upper arm near the armpit. This will force them to let go and momentarily paralyse their arm. Or even just grab it and pinch it really, really hard. Alternatively, insert your index and second finger into the space between the collar bone and neck (suprasternal notch) and depress hard. They will eventually let go. It will also make them think twice about that they are doing, during which time you can take off or go on the attack. Learn all the vulnerable parts of a person's anatomy and ways of attacking those vital, sensitive areas such as the eyes, temple, neck, solar plexus, groin, etc. And be relentless; if they stop you from attacking any one of these, go for another, and then another, and another until they back down. Remain calm, confident, and in control, but also learn to tap the wild animal within you. As apex predators, and whether you are aware of it or not, we all have it. Understanding this is a key element in self-defence, especially for women. (BTW, if you want to eliminate the sound of the wind in the microphone when you record outdoors, cover it with a piece of sponge). Keep up the good work.👍

    You did a great job showing these skills very dojo karate for sure. have to agree with every one else in the comments both the good and bad. did a great job demonstrating them but I really hope you are aware that what "works" in the dojo isn't always what works in the street. Most dojo style martial artists that teach have never been in a real fight and have 0 knowledge about real street fighting. Great tech. and execution but be wary about trying that for real, you may not be happy with the results.

      the point of karate is more of defensive type not offensive
      its more of trying to immobilize the person not crush them u can try learning military styled fighting where u can learn how to crush the opponent

      Just wonderful, been searching for "street fighting self defence techniques" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Eonuke Stupendous Equalizer - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a great one off guide for discovering how to self defence techniques to keep your family safe without the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my m8 got cool results with it.

    Those techniques are more than nothing in a fight.
    But I wouldn't recommend them against stronger opponents 😉
    Anyway, good work in showing something😊
