So Who are Campervan Journey?
We are JT, Harry, Claire, Sam and Ben, oh and Hunny the Dog. We discovered campervanning in 2015 when we bought our first Volkswagen T5 Combo after seeing many at our favourite campsites. We were staying with our tent, and dreaming that one day we would have our own Campervan. After much research, we bought and converted our own T5 Kombi to suit our requirements, check out the video on the channel. We soon discovered that owning a Campervan is a way of life and it is not just about amazing trips round Europe, it’s as much about great days out and family time…
We have been lucky enough to visit some amazing places with our van, many of which we know we wouldn’t have seen if we had not owned it. They instil a sense of adventure and where shall we go into your life.
After 3 years with the T5, we upgraded to a Volkswagen T6 California Beach, our current van, and we continue to enjoy travelling and visiting some amazing places. You can check out our latest videos and adventures here on the channel !

I have heard that some of the pitfalls of the GC600 are addressed by the 680, shame we don't have enough room for something that big...thanks for keeping the faith with our channel, a full reveal of our new van will come as soon as it has arrived. Cheers JT
The difference between a Cali and the size of van you are going for now is night and day. Now into proper campervan and not a multipurpose jack of all trades and master of none. No more messing around now! Enjoy it

Like a game of trump cards no van scores highly on everything; there's a downside to every upside - otherwise everyone would have the same van. A bigger van may offer more space, but I bet we'll hear of some things which he misses about the T6!

All the best with Campervan Journey part 2. I know you said it’s taken 2 years to find a replacement for the Cali, but your next van seems like a big step up and had to be right ( or near as possible). When there isn’t anything out there that fits the bill exactly it doesn’t make the commitment any easier.
I find myself in a similar position to you, I have a VW Cali Coast that I went away in with my daughter. She’s flown the nest now and I wonder if the Coast is abit over the top for one person. It’s great, I’m self contained, but I wonder if I should do something abit simpler based around one person ( 2 occasionally), using the van.

You will love the Beach. As a family vehicle it was an amazing all rounder and we had so many fantastic adventurers in ours. If you have 3 kids and enjoy getting out and about, you have made a great choice ! Cheers JT
