They probably had a good laugh afterward about the whole "Scott Burns doing guest vocals thing."

No I know he smoked before, but only recreationally. His mom also said on emptywords that he smoked weed for medicinal and recreational purposes.

it's interesting how when the interviewer mentioned how death gets along with other bands such as morbid angel, deicide, and obituary, chuck only responded affirmatively to obituary. i know chuck had issues with the whole satanic vibe going on in dm, and obviously morbid angel and deicide were huge parts of that, but i had no idea that there was tension between them and death because of a sense of competition. maybe he meant them trying to out-evil each other? very interesting response...

Chuck makes a gesture with his mouth or tongue or something and Paul just cracks up lol.
Idk why Chuck was doing because the quality isn't good enough.

Yeah Chuckie didn't have to do that whole bullshit wannabe satanic shit to be a badass, he let the music do the talking. I used to go see Morbid and Deicide back in them days but I always enjoyed Death shows ten times more!!
I used to get in that fukn pit and slam through the whole set!

Glad Chuck mentioned all the bands jumping on the Death Metal bandwagon. Like NWOBHM and Thrash before them, a few innovators and a ton of imitators.

@@ethancas5360 I've been so curious recently on whether there's any info related to chuck on cynic and focus. I might've misunderstood but i think he says his fav performance is one with cynic or one where he played with cynic

    Yeah.
I'm honestly not all that familiar in the Death Metal genre.

Did it in the first part two and Paul was hysterical. Idk what it was though lol.

ya i think he ment trying to be more evil. he didnt like that he didnt think death metal ment being brutal in the lyrics and vocals all the time to him death metal was a special way you compose your songs. but scream bloody gore is what laid the path for that anyways so whatever.

  • @RobbKong999

I've come to notice in the last while that lots of death metal bands (if only a few members) smoke weed...
    That's awesome!!! Me, too!!!
DEICIDE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER, DEATH, etc. [members of these smoke weed] (I know there are more bands who do but these are the ones that come to mind...

  • @thychaos

@Death8498 theyre not deathcore...thats a common misconception. people think theyre deathcore because they do high pitched vocals and death growls, but theres absolutely no hardcore influence on the music, its basically just melodic death metal. theres no breakdowns, no gang shouts, nothing hardcore whatsoever.

  • @tanvo93
    @tanvo93 13 лет назад

@thychaos progressive metal with their later work..i think paul helped Chuck get more creative with his music..
