THE man. Absolutely brilliant song writer. It really sucks that he isn't around anymore. His death was tragic loss to the music world, not just the metal world. I really wish that he could see how much respect other musicians have for him. His writing was on another level and continued to progress with each album he released. So many bands only have one good album, their debut. Then they are out of songs...and can not create any more magic. But Chuck was the exact opposite of that. His first album was what I would call 'basic' (the only one I am not a fan of). But then each album got stronger and strong as his song writing and musicianship improved. The dude was THE man in my opinion. Like many other metal musicians and fan out there, I have a ton of respect for this man.

This is way too cool! Its evident that Chuck had a very clear vision of where he wanted to go with his music. Every record does sound like Death but reflecting the musical growth that took place in between every album. He knew Metallica went full mainstream with the Black Album by writting shorter and simpler songs and he went in the complete opposite direction, which ultimately left us with his great musical legacy. Chuck will always live through his songs. Thanks for sharing this interview, Mr. Kadzielawa.

His speaking voice is very calming. He sounds a lot like a latter day Paul Lynde.
