Hello sir. My problem is that there of something that keeps breaking that resistor. The electricians said they fixed everything that could break it, but the last resistor lasted about 3 hours. I changed at least 10 in 4-5 months. I’m going crazy.
Yes I have seen this on a ford truck once the motor may be bad, I know its running but could be drawing just enough amps to destroy the resistor, the other thing I have seen is mouse nest blocking the air path, try turning on with Resistor out and see if you can feel air, do not do it for long because the air is what cools the resistor.
