Im having the same problem RIGHT NOW with my 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. Maybe I have the same problem. I was about to pay a thousand dollars until I seen this video you save my hide and money.
SUCCESS !!!! I've been without AC & Heat for the past 5 months- to busy and didn't know where to start. SUPER BIG THANKS !!! FYI: be sure to research exactly which PN you need. I found several PN's and only one fit mine. (Manual A/C, Auto A/C & Auto Climate Control.) THANKS!! Great Job !!
Okay I have a question! The people at orielys say I need either the auto or the manual and I have auto and manual buttons on the console. I don't understand. One is 15 bucks and one is 80 bucks what do I do?
First, check the cabin air filter to see if it is clogged. Many times the filter can cause the air flow to be slow. After that, move on to the resister part. Ask them to look up your vehicle by the specs and they should give you the proper part.
Okay buts the difference I'm being asked same question and I gave them ur mak and model of mine from my owners manual and they still couldn't tell me help please
I have a 2007 and my fan is intermittent--it will blow for rear air/heat but only will come on once in a while for the front. I've been thinking that maybe the fan blades were gunked up on the shaft of the fan itself. The car shows signs that the housing has been removed (and not screwed back into the dash) at some point in time. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks
Alexee Hunter - It could be one of several things such as the blower resister (this video refers to) or the blower motor actuator, which directs the air flow from defrost to vents to feet, etc. Most vehicles have two to three actuators (when they go bad they start making an annoying clicking sound.) Hope this helps.
My resistor for my 07 Chrysler Pacifica is not the same as the one your holding its way smaller and doesn't have all of the comb like teeth as this one

There are two types of resistors. We have links for both.
