I work for a multi millionaire and I took him to the airport in our Pacifica a number of years ago and he commented that it was as nice as his Mercedes
We have a 2005 Pacifica with 205,000 miles on it. We never had any major repairs on it and the only problem it has now in 2020 is rust around the rear fenders. We love our Pacifica. It was a great looking luxury vehicle, much better than a mini van
I just bought an '04 with like new interior and very clean inside and out with 204K miles!! Hope I can still get parts if I ever need to because this thing rocks so far!!
I'm still driving my 2006 Pacifica and have never regretted it. It has been a good reliable vehicle. At 15 years old I should be replacing it but still love it.
Really I have one too and you haven’t had any major problems? I’ve had to replace the radiator and a few things u see the hood.. and also a driver window regulator but the car overall runs great with good maintenance and oil changes..
I currently own a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Touring AWD. It just hit 200,000 miles. I am the third owner, but I knew the previous owners and they took good care of it. So far, in repairs, the catalytic converter was replaced earlier this year, ($800) and the last owner before me had something about the drivetrain fixed ($1,200). (I’m not a wizard when it comes to cars, but I know the basics thanks to my Grandfather.) Now, I’m worried that the power-steering is going out, but I’m going to change the power-steering fluid before I take it to the shop and see if that fixes it. Other than these (expensive) fixes, it has been a reliable vehicle for me. It currently averages 19 mpg, which I wouldn’t think is too bad for an older car. I can say that I will be keeping it until it falls into a million pieces. I learned to drive in it, went on many trips in it and it always done justice for me.
I bought a used 2006 touring a few years ago, it had 120,000 kms on it now has 180,000kms and runs like a dream. Every time I think about trading it I have not found anything to make a trade worthwhile…….Great vehicle.
I have had 2 of these Pacifica's, and loved them dearly. While they weren't perfect, they were ahead of their time and extremely comfortable. The real problem came down to consumers who did not want to spend "Mercedes-Benz" money to repair a Chrysler. They were very expensive to repair for sure. This left many used Pacifica's with a tarnished name. I totally understand people not wanting to spend $1,800.00 on a simple suspension job back in 2004-2008, but these were solid cars for those who were willing to spend the money.
😄 it's crazy that the town and country out sold the Pacifica and people called it a mini van and now it is a minivan and took over the town and country 🤷🏽♂️ Congratulations on 50k
Bought a 2007 signature AWD(4.0L & 62te trans) for my mother in 2012 for $3300 at auction. It had about 125k miles then and is up to 265k now but still going strong and she absolutely loves it. No major engine/transmission work and the worst flaw was a shorted reverse wire that was a pain to find (there's a splice under the carpet behind the driver's seat of all places...). Also had a leak in the sunroof due to the glass being misaligned by the previous owner, probably after strapping something to the roof. The 19in wheels are a touch expensive to keep good tires on and I would personally prefer 17s but she likes them so... My biggest advice is to always, always use the appropriate atf+4 fluid in the transmission and replace both the fluid & filter regularly. The 62te seems to be a lot more sensitive to dirty fluid than its 4 speed predecessor. Walmart atf+4 is only $4 a quart, so it's only $25 plus filter anyway(you'll usually get about 6 or 6.5 quarts out when you drop the pan).
hey dont worry about pushing out videos in a hurry. many youtubers screw this up and make low quality videos. your videos are awesome! we will watch them as they come out
The Town and Country was based on the RT platform (not to be confused with dodge's r/t trim level) and the pacifica van is based on the fiat compact us wide platform.
I actually liked my 2006 Pacifica and waited for years for Chrysler bring it back, i was ready to buy it!....but when they brought it back as a actual minivan, my dreams were crushed. One of my favorite buys thus far! I am finally looking to replacing it now in 2020!
I love these cars! They get a fair share of hate, and perhaps I've just had " The Good Ones". I'm on my second: a 2008 Touring which I've had for 2 years. It now has 43000 miles on it. Upon taking possession, I immediately changed out the timing belt and water pump. Since then, the only maintenance I've had to do consists of regular service and a new battery. My first was a 2004 Limited, and was terrific. I foolishly sold it, then bought a new and somewhat comparable similar CUV built by an offshore manufacturer of high repute. That car was expensive to buy, rode like a lawn tractor, was noisy at speed, had a terrible audio system and also possessed flat and hard seats that were uncomfortable on trips. To be fair, the engine was powerful and quiet. I couldn't wait to get rid of it, and after a year I just took it back to the dealer and dumped it.I have never had underside rusting issues, but I take these cars through an auto wash once a week, and have them detailed spring and fall. My first had the 3.5 V-6 with the 4 speed. This Touring feels MUCH faster. and the 6 speed transmission is smooth and well calibrated. I am considering an addition to the stable, since I never want to run out of 1st generation Pacificas. Just my opinion.
I think this vehicle is amazing. It would do much better were it launched today. I agree they were too heavily focused on not losing MPV characteristics. I really miss the DaimlerChrysler era. Chrysler was my favorite brand, with reasonable prices but unique and luxury exterior. I still love driving my '08 PT Cruiser everyday!
Back in the early 2000s my dad worked for Daimler-Chrysler in some sort of management position & he got a fully loaded Pacifica and it was the nicest vehicle we had ever had (at the time). Ended up having to get rid of it after the financial crisis & he was laid off.
I have a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica that stalls after coming off the freeway and then restarts and runs fine but so much parts into I still can't find out what's going on does anybody know
@@petemontoya7488 I heard this is common for this vehicle 😳 I couldn't pass up an '04 with like new interior and exterior, runs great but I hope if I ever need parts for it I can get them.
I strongly believe that as well! The combination of a sedan, minivan, and SUV is exactly what people usually look for in a crossover today, but it appears back then not so much. Chrysler has always try to position themselves as the luxury brand and if quality issues wasn't a factor, I believe the Pacifica may have been successful.
@@davidswartz6474 : Not compared to what the Asians were offering. Then again it's up to the consumers and the market place. Perhaps that is why it failed, one reason of many ?
Marspeed, I like what you are doing here. Pacifica was awesome, drove 2 and the wife had one with a 4.0 that scared her, because it squalled the tires. The Sports tourer. Whatever that is. It didn’t sell at $39-40k. It did however sell at $28k. After a lot of incentives proving the Chrysler US execs correct, incentives sell cars. MB couldn’t grasp US mass marketing. So the MB parts made it too expensive. But that was a way to get money out of Chrysler US and into MB. It was the one car Sergio looked at and said, the best looking car and you killed that? He found out some idiot(s) had dis carded the rear axle molds and tooling. So, the car was scrapped. A shame. Great driving vehicle.
My Pacifica got totalled sitting parked outside out of my house. I loved that car so much. I was devastated. Still am. I replaced it with an Acura MDX. I've had it for a year. I'm now looking for a new used Pacifica. I cannot tell you how absolute perfect that car is.
Just picked up an 05 touring fwd with 179k for $1k. Just had to replace shocks, struts, lower control arms, 2 tires and shift lock thingy. Runs great and not too bad on gas.
@@davidisrael5627 I had my 05 pacifica for 6 years now and bought it around 155k miles and went on a road trip from los angles to Florida forward and back and not once has it failed.
I just went from an 05 Town and Country to an 05 Pacifica. I love this car so so much ! And buying it used the price was awesome and it's gorgeous, well cared for

I am from Lithuania and i owne a 2005 awd Pacifica. In our country it is rear car. Fuel consumption is high, but we dont care. My famyli love that car. On our vacation we traveling all Europe.
I bought a used '04 with 130k miles and really liked it at first. Then the famous Chrysler electrical issues reared their head and it was nearly constant. The engine, while underpowered, never delivered less than 23mpg on the highway, ran smooth and didn't use any oil. What did it in was a broken timing belt that caused a bent valve. Mine didn't have the dash rattle or falling plastic and the transmission was a sloppy mess. Overall, it wasn't a bad car but it it's not one I'd buy again
My granny has a 4.0 2007 Chyrsler Pacifica with 281,000 miles. All maintenance has always been up to date. The interior is so luxurious. It runs like brand new. No clanks or pings coming from motor. Transmission shifts smooth into all 6 gears. With the 255 hp with that transmission got it down the highway with ease. A really quick car. Granny has the limited touring. Corners really well for such a big car It has all wheel drive. With a navigation, DVD, Bluetooth. The ride is very smooth. I'll gladly keep this gorgeous car if something happens to grandma. Sad they discontinued this model.
Got one of the early model years when a rental car company was out of whatever I had asked for. Was really impressed. Storage space was good. It did some nifty things in the interior. Rode well. Good mileage.
If I'm not mistaken, they hired Celine Dion to sing the praises of the coupe version in a television commercial, right around the time she began to get on people's nerves.
This was a really great video. Is there a comprehensive list of parts the pacifica shares with Mercedes Benz E class or other mercedes and chrysler platforms? Is the front suspension shared with any other vehicle platforms specifically?
I also have a 2004 model i put 4 different kinds of oil in it, ive took it down turkey trails with some big rocks, had to replace the front struts 3 times and put a new exhaust wire because it was corroded to shit. I currently have around 400 pounds of tools in the back, traction control turns on whenever it wants too, ay button does not work on the movie player, and my seat heaters turn on when ever they like. I really enjoy beating it to death and all the electrical problems has always been a dodge and chrysler problem. Thankful for having a reliable engine. Forgot to mention about my airlock and replaceing some exhaust wore that would not allow the var to mkve when i pressed the gas
The 2 biggest issues were materials and powertrain. Just like GM, Chrysler was using cheap plastics at that time in the interior of most vehicles. The engine was underpowered and unreliable. The design was remarkable. 1 other thing is that the description Chrysler made about it was ahead of its time, which Chrysler has a long history of doing, causing financial issues.
They later introduced a 4.0 V6 which should have solved the "lack of power" issue, but with 250hp, I don't think the 3.5 V6 was "underpowered" for a midsized crossover.
Someone gave me a 2006 Pacifica and after some work, including the dreaded head gasket repair, it’s a great car. I don’t drive it very often, but it’s very capable and surprisingly is pretty great for off roading and other stuff like that. I just don’t get why they can’t make cars like that anymore. Just look at the dodge hornet…
I think this was a good looking car, not as bulky as its minivan competitors! I also see the characteristic Bosch gauge cluster with the floating needles, from the W220 S-Class, although this is the first time I see it has a GPS screen integrated in it! The bottom line is this: Chrysler could've leveraged the partnership a bit more so as to get the better quality plastics, the 4-speed automatic transmission should've gone already for 5 years and also Chrysler should've been a bit more aggressive in their marketing strategy.
Another major flaw was under the car. I don’t know if Chrysler realized it yet in 2007, but this vehicle and some other Chrysler vehicles had engine cradles and cross members that we prone to rust very prematurely. Chrysler stopped short of a recall, instead issuing Warranty Extensions on the cross members (not sure about the engine cradle). By that point there were many angry consumers.
Yeah. We previously had the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Touring 3.5LV6 FWD and it was nice. I’ll be turning 16 April 1st and seen A fully loaded 2007 AWD and it’s nice. This is a classic vehicle and wasn’t as hyped as it should’ve been. It was underrated in my eye. I loved it.
I got a Pacifica today model 3.8 L 2008. It drives smooth, let see over the next days how it goes...but I'm feeling very happy for the car that I got x only $2700 cash.
Always loved the way it looks, and we love our 2008 Touring 4.0! Starting to give us some problems though but to be fair she was abused in her past ownership
I had a 2008 Walter P. Chrysler Signature Series. I LOVED that car, but hated the transmission. When it worked, the car was a dream to drive. I did a lot of highway driving and it was extremely comfy and powerful. I had the transmission repaired 3 times and replaced once under warranty. It started acting up again so I traded it. The dealership had it replaced a second time. You would be driving down the highway at 70+ mph and it would downshift and lock into 3rd gear. Scared the holy crap out of me! 😂 it would not shift out of 3rd, even when trying to use the autostick. Once you stopped, turned off the car and then back on, it would start in first gear, but once it hit third, it was stuck again. I spent way to much time driving to deal with having to be at the dealership so often, so had to trade it. Other than that, it was an awesome car.
My mother really wanted one of these, we test drove a 2007 Model with the 4.0 V6 some time ago and it was a nice car but I just kept worrying about how it was gonna age, and the one we test drove already had a check engine light on
The check engine light on is TERRIBLE for a test vehicle. I remember seeing an old motorweek thing where the cars they test drove had bits that weren't working. In my country stuff like that gets people fired, and you wouldn't see it on a test drive vehicle and ABSOLUTELY NEVER EVER for one handed to motoring journalists. They WILL CHECK these types of things and even some car dealers allow 2 WEEK TEST DRIVES.
I’ve owned a 2004 Pacifica since 2007 and it still is one of the most versatile vehicles ever made. With the rear seats folded down, you have 7 inches of space and I have used it for camping as sleeping in the back is both roomy and comfortable. With great features like the sun roof, navigation, 8-way drivers seat and beautiful interior, luxury console and the “Mercedes clock” , it does have a luxury appeal inside. It was ahead of its time in 2004 with a lot of special features. I’m an audiophile, so I especially like that my car.has an auto-reverse quality cassette player, CD player and separate six disc in dash CD/DVD player in addition to the quality AM/FM tuner. Name me another car that you can find like that. A very solid car, it was ahead of its time and would have done much better in sales today.
I'm one of those 6'4" guys who loves driving this pacifica. They are very comfortable for me even on long road trips, but I did have the 12 way driver seat or whatever they called it. I live in the central NY area where snow dumps in feet. The all wheel drive models, with snow tires will plow through snow like you won't believe and do it easily with great control. I love how these vehicles drive and ride too, not to mention the 5 star safety rating.. Yes they were under powered, especially the 3.5L models. The 4 speed Trans could have used another gear, but they were way more reliable than the 6 speed trannys that were plagued with shifting problems. I'm on my 3rd pacifica. I've owned two 2006 models (touring & limited) and an 08 model with the 4.0L engine/6 speed trans, my least favorite. These vehicles really didn't have any more (or less) issues than any other vehicles as far as mechanical problems. Yes there were a few typical Chrysler dumbass engineer design flaws that caused problems such as underhood star ground locations that rusted out causing a multitude of electral problems, but an easy fix if you simply moved the ground location and waterproofed it. And an overly sensitive pcm that would go haywire when a diode in the alternator went bad. Example: transmission codes being thrown and the transmission bucking while stopped in drive with the speedometer jumping up and down, vehicle not even moving. Even Chrysler dealerships were telling people that they needed transmission work, some people spending over a grand only to have the same problem. The issue was resolved by replacing the alternator! (see Chrysler forums!) Pissed alot of people off! I've had this happen with both of my 06 models. Thank God I knew the fix. One of the biggest issues these vehicles had was with the hydraulic motor mounts, which blew out very prematurely, the one mounted to the subframe in particular.. I can change one now with my eyes closed.. Another design flaw was with the subframe itself. The crossmember of the subframes would rust out on vehicles that lived in states like NY that use salt on the roads in the winter because drain holes were not put in the proper locations. Water would literally pool inside the subframes causing them to rust right through compromising structural integrity. Fortunately for me I found this problem early on with my first pacifica and drilled drain holes in the subframes of my other two to prevent water from pooling inside them. And of course you had the typical Chrysler dumbass design flaws that caused under dash rattles and interior noises that were hard to find. But you have these kind of issues with just about any vehicle as far as my experience goes, and being my own mechanic, I'd prefer to work on my Chrysler vehicles over most other American made cars, and I've worked on alot of others.. I absolutely love these vehicles despite the problems they have, and I'm still driving an 06 Limited that I found a few years ago clean as a whistle down in Virginia. It's too bad that they scrapped the pacifica and replaced it with the Dodge Journey which I saw as a major downgrade. I love the size of the pacifica and how it rides and handles, especially the Limited model with the 19" wheels, and it was a cool looking vehicle too. You can't compare it to a minivan because it just doesn't have the kind of room inside or sliding door convenience, but as far as what Chrysler wanted it to be, a crossover vehicle, I think they nailed it. Had they only got the engine and transmission right from the get go and paid more attention to the things that people expect from a luxury vehicle (like rattles under the dash) I think it would have lasted a long time. But the lack of power and the 4 speed trans never really bothered me enough to move to a different vehicle. I'd still take the 4 speed trans over the 6 speed because the 6 speed just had too many issues. Would have been a great upgrade, but I don't think it needed 6 speeds. 5 would have been good. I've put almost 200k on 2 of the 4 speed models and they never gave me any problems. My 6 speed was always throwing solenoid codes.. I'll definitely miss this vehicle when my current one has had enough. Probably won't be able to find another with low miles, but if I do find one tucked away somewhere down south with low miles, it'll be the next one to take up its home in my driveway! Loved all my pacificas!
For a long time, I had wished that I had bought a 2007 Pacifica! But I had a Jeep and Ram 1500, so I didn't need another car note at the time. Now, even though the 2020 Pacifica is a sharp vehicle, I still like the look of the old one and the new one should've been given a different name or at least the number 2 after the name.
in sold these at launch and owned one. Great vehicles. The flaws you mentioned were never an issue with the customers i sold them to. They did have terrible blind spots.
The o e time I rode in a Pacifica was fresh out of Basic Training and my parents rented one when they came to visit me. I really like it at the time. Sometime around August 2005
Weird that a semi low volume 10-15 year old vehicle is so abundant here in So Fla. I think I see one nearly every day. Maybe because they were such a unique design makes me notice them daily.
i have an 04 with 231,000 miles and going strong, have had to do alot of work like new rad , motor mounts ,etc. it is very comfortable and attractive and i have always liked it .the interior is a bit small for my crew and i feel it is under powered. i am not happy with the trans, been having issues. also not looking forward to the timing belt /water pump change. over all though i do like this vehicle and would recomend it for anyone who has the skills to maintain it themselves as i do not have confidence in my average automotive repair personel.
My dealer replaced the timing belt and water pump for 1200 dollars. I think I could have saved some money at an independent shop, but felt this was an important service. I really love these cars, and have had no issues with good maintenance and care of the underside. Keep enjoying yours, because for the money there is nothing else out there. You might consider looking out for a good 4.0 Liter with the 6 speed. Fast and no issues.
Not yet, with the high mileage I keep waiting for an issue. There was an issue that cost a few thousand dollars with the previous owner back when it was newer, I don't recall what that was though.
2005 w/ 205,000. Last yr replaced radiator, front & Rear shocks, timing belt, rotors & calipers, motor mounts, engine mounts, front tie rods, water pump, alternator. But it's over 200,000 and I only drive 8,000 miles yr. Catalytic converter in 2021, check engine light is a nuisance, although I take care of oil changes, tire rotation. Replace completely front headlights plastic fog old. $150.00 for both left, right, good deal. Mechanics charge $160.00 here in Northern California ouch. I do the easy repairs myself.
Just replaced fuel pump (check engine lite smoke test ) gas cap, catalytic converter and dual mufflers. Ob sensors 2. Today June 20 2023 car toll to repair. Starter won't turn over, battery excellent. Results later .
I have a 2004 that just turned 170K miles. Runs great. Very smooth engine. One thing to remember if you own one, this vehicle has a RUBBER TIMING BELT!! There is a metal cover over the belt unlike most belt cars that have a plastic cover. So don't be fooled into thinking it has CHAIN and not a BELT! Change the belt when you get over 120K miles. THIS IS AN INTERFERENCE ENGINE AND WILL BEND THE VALVES IF THE BELT BREAKS!!!! Spend the money and replace the belt!!!!!
I'm wondering Marspeed, are you going to do a segment on one of my favorite Chrysler vehicles of all time, the LH sedans(Dodge Intrepid, Eagle Vision, and Chrysler Concorde/LHS/300M)?
I just bought a 2005 Pacifica in August at 86,000 miles and I'm obsessed with it. Sure, it has it's issues, one middle seat doesn't fold over, lumbar support in drivers seat doesn't work and I have some problems with the DVD player but it's the best car I've had in awhile. I've only needed to replace a power steering hose.
DVD player is supposed to hold 6 DVD's but I was only able to get one in and now I can't get it ejected, lol. My Grandson pretty much has Gnomeo and Juliet memorized now.
They revived the Pacifica in 2017 but made it more of a mini-van...I actually have an 05' Touring AWD with 235,000 miles on it and it has been a super reliable ride...a little bit of rust starting to poke thru after 15 Michigan winters but I think I can get another 5-6 years out of her easily:))
I love my Nitro! I’m short and the seats rise so nicely for the first time in my life I can see both corners of the front fender. I’m also a old home care nurse and have had to drive through unplowed roads and it handles so well on bad roads. The gas mileage is not so great but I see well, feel safe and have had very few problems with this SUV. I was so happy to see somewhere that someone had had over 350,000 miles and still running strong.
I had the 2005 Touring version handed down from my dad to me. There is one major issue with it at the moment: the seat adjustments are broken. Other than that, it's good enough for me as a high-schooler.
This car was the exact reason why the Daimler merger was deadly to Chrysler. Daimler didn’t care about Chrysler’s sales at all. They were focused on keeping their vehicles profitable. It also goes to show why the Benz vehicles are so bad! This could’ve been a good car, but they threw hand me downs at it. And it was poorly marketed!
I had to Pacifica. The first one was a 2005 and it ran pretty well. The next one I had was a 2008 and it did have a few problems of the engine knocking so I do understand that part about that.
I like my Pacifica but when something goes be ready for the price tag on parts. If your a diy person be ready to take everything apart to fix something. I have an 07 and previous owners didn’t take car of it so that is ownership issue. Not bad with the power of the 4.0 as it’ll squal tires for 10 feet lol. When I don’t have to work on it I really do enjoy it.
Great video. I have a loaded up 2004 AWD, Dad has a 2008 Touring FWD. The 3.5 wasn't the weak link, really, it's that old 4 speed transmission from the 80s. These needed that 6 speed from the start. A 5.7 won't fit in the engine bay of these... Dad's 4.0 is crammed in there with a shoehorn as is. With me being 6' 5.5" it's the most comfortable Chrysler I've ever owned, but there's still not enough legroom. They do have slightly better interiors than the T&C of those years, but not by very much. Can confirm the reliability... mine has been terrible. I've had it almost 4 years and still don't have it all fixed. The major problems are sorted, now. Dad's has been relatively trouble free but is high miles now and starting to need some of the suspension work done I had to do to mine.
I take an Automotive class that has one of these as a demo car. Really don't like the spark plug wells, also very little room to loosen the oil filter. Then again, I'm a bit of a rookie. So I can't say much.
I have that same color light blue that's on the post pic but mine is the special Walter P Chrysler signature anniversary series. It a 07 and only has 120,xxx and has more wood than Home Depot. Also the Pacific was actually a great cat that was slept on which is why the bought it bacc here a couple years ago but the new ones look more like the town and country(van like vs crossover platform)
The Pacifica was ahead of its time. This is how the Traverse/Acadia/Enclave look now from GM. If it would have made it a little longer it might have ended up with the 3.6 Pentastar engine.
I have one and its been an amazing car. Has 240,000 miles and still runs great. Of course I constantly change the oil.
I liked the Pacifica, I really like the instrument cluster. Then I sat in a 2008 Mercedes S-Class and realized they were almost identical
I work for a multi millionaire and I took him to the airport in our Pacifica a number of years ago and he commented that it was as nice as his Mercedes

19? Is that highway?
I bought a used 2006 touring a few years ago, it had 120,000 kms on it now has 180,000kms and runs like a dream. Every time I think about trading it I have not found anything to make a trade worthwhile…….Great vehicle.
We have a 2006 with only 79,000 miles. My husband still drives it around town a couple times a week. It's been a great car with a nice ride.
😄 it's crazy that the town and country out sold the Pacifica and people called it a mini van and now it is a minivan and took over the town and country 🤷🏽♂️
Congratulations on 50k
willmatic 84 lmao exactly 😂😂
Walmart atf+4 is only $4 a quart, so it's only $25 plus filter anyway(you'll usually get about 6 or 6.5 quarts out when you drop the pan).
hey dont worry about pushing out videos in a hurry. many youtubers screw this up and make low quality videos. your videos are awesome! we will watch them as they come out
Coincidentally the Chrysler Town and Country (2017-present) became the Chrysler Pacifica
The Town and Country was based on the RT platform (not to be confused with dodge's r/t trim level) and the pacifica van is based on the fiat compact us wide platform.

@@user-real_reality Cool Beans!!
Just my opinion.
for my first car i have this mine is a base verison i love it alot very quiet very powerful and never left me stranded ever

Yup I hadn’t changed it yet haha 😆

This thing was way (too?) ahead of it's time.
True but under powered due to it's weight.

Overall, it wasn't a bad car but it it's not one I'd buy again
i dont have any of thos issues i am sorry yours did :(
CHANGE THE TIMING BELT WHEN YOU GET TO 120K MILES!!!! INTERFERENCE ENGINES BEND VALVES!!!!!
Corners really well for such a big car
It has all wheel drive.
I'VE SEEN THE PACIFICA & FOUND IT VERY CLASSY , AS FAR AS SUV's GO...
Pacifica and R Class did not share any parts- they only shared a marketing slogan being the "sports tourer". Anyway, it's a common myth.
I was a travelling salesman for awhile and one of these carried me all over southern Minnesota and northern Iowa in the dead of winter.
The interior fit and finish was fine to me, very attractive cabin. Definitely the best of all Chryslers from this time.

I love my 07 Pacifica.Gets great mpg and has a enough power with the 3.8 engine when I need it and especially its built like a tank!
"Tank" is right!!
I one a 2005 model and it has been very reliable and it has reached 200,000 miles with no major issues
Theres Chrysler again almost 20 years ahead of the times showing the entire auto industry how to make the next level desighn. (Crossover)
The rusting engine cradle is gonna be the end of my 2005 limited , will be very sad to see it go !

Unique wording…
My family got one as a rental from Alamo. Drove it from Calgary to Edmonton and it was great.
Is it me or did the Pacifica's gauge cluster come straight off the Mercedes S class

I heard the front undercarriage rusted BADLY in winter salted areas and plenty had it replaced by ones from wreckers in southern states.
Just like Ontario winters 😀
It’s the same answers for every FCA product. Low sales and low quality. The brand names and reputation plagued the products too.
I see a bunch of these daily still cruising along
I had the 2005 Touring version handed down from my dad to me. There is one major issue with it at the moment: the seat adjustments are broken. Other than that, it's good enough for me as a high-schooler.
I have a 2004 and the thing is a tank running like a champ no complaints besides the lack n power
At least they never put the 2.7 v6 in it 😂😂😂
This car was the exact reason why the Daimler merger was deadly to Chrysler. Daimler didn’t care about Chrysler’s sales at all. They were focused on keeping their vehicles profitable. It also goes to show why the Benz vehicles are so bad!
This could’ve been a good car, but they threw hand me downs at it. And it was poorly marketed!

I have one currently and I will put up against any modern "crossover"
Please keep doing these
Now the Dodge Intrepid 👀
Versace OG agreed. Dumped my intrepid for a 12 hemi Charger. Wanna know more about that turd
It still lives as the Charger.
Gary James nah. The Intrepid was a FWD platform. The Charger is RWD. Two totally different vehicles in two totally different segments.
A.J. Heron so read Wikipedia. The Intrepid was succeeded by the Magnum and Charger, and of course a lot changed... but look at at the wiki
Yasss I loved that car seriously nice and roomy but after that engine sludge it made my heart ache
I got a 2006, I love this thing
The Pacifica was ahead of its time. This is how the Traverse/Acadia/Enclave look now from GM. If it would have made it a little longer it might have ended up with the 3.6 Pentastar engine.
The Chrysler Pacifica is now a minivan to replace the Town and Country for the 2017 model year.❤🎉😊
Is the channel name supposed to be mar speed or mars peed?
I love you! I feel the same way you do. 75 yrs and still fixing my cars too. Thanks for the video. ❤
