Hey guys ! I hope both have continued to perform as they should! I’m a huge huge Chrysler fan and plan on making a RUclips channel dedicated to their reliability, and hopefully one day work for them at the headquarters. I say that to say, I know the cars very well and I want to warn you that the transmission in the journey does NOT like abuse (not changing the fluid). If your journey is 100k or under please please change the transmission fluid as if you don’t you’ll regret it later. Do not flush, do a drain and refill! It will save you thousands in not having to replace the whole unit. You want to do this every 30,000-40,000 miles.
Thank you for the heads up, I had no idea about the transmission on the journey. Journey is doing grate, we have had it 7 years now. Pacifica is doing ok, but you can definitely tell it’s aging. We are planning to sell it soon and get my husband something newer with better gas mileage. Nothing notably wrong with the pacific, but it is feeling a little rickety. Which it’s nearly 20 years old. It’ll make a nice first car for a high school kid who just goes to school and around town.

LoL Not to mention I think it is having some issues 😩 This one looks like a really nice family car and is reasonably priced too! I would love an updated video on the Journey- I see those everywhere here and wanted to look at one myself. You look so cute with your hair short by the way!
omg I love the Journey, but tires are killer!! Its $230 to replace 1 tire, INSANE!!! But they do great in the winter time, I know you don't get lots of snow so that's prolly not a worry for you. But I love sitting up high. Its almost like having a truck, but I can fold down the seats to haul things around, like today I bought fruit trees and was able to take them home in my SUV. But you could do the same thing in the Pacifica. I think the Pacifica has about the same amount of room on the inside as the journey, its just not sat up as high.
Ours is over 200k at this point. But I don’t know the exact miles. Everything is original, but my husband did have it die on him going down the interstate. We have retired it to a just in case care and have upgraded him to a newer vehicle

How many miles on the pacific? I have 220k on my 2007 with the 3.8l engine. Still original engine and transmission.
