FYI for us American's, you won't find a product called 3M Dual Lock if you're out looking for it at your local hardware store. What you'll find is a product labeled SCOTCH Extremely Strong - Holds 10lb/45kg. The only place that you'll see the Dual Lock name is on the back of the tape when you remove it from the packaging.
Thanks for the video. I’m going to do this directly on the plate, just until the frame arrives. One suggestion I have is to float it with water like you would a decal, so that you have the freedom to position it just right before committing.
I love how all the markings, and even the letters and the sticker dont match up. It has a sticker for Bavaria on it, but the Letter "B", but B stands for Berlin, which is 700 kilometers away from bavaria
Your supposed to screw the frame to the car....not stick it, the whole idea of using a frame is to not have holes in the registration plate, if your going to stick it you dont need a frame.
You can't have a Berlin "B" with a Bavarian (blue and white) sticker. There Also is no ö (O with 2 dots) for the license plates. Also the flag is supposed to be a blue stripe with a withe "D" ... Just saying.
+Custom European Plates hey CEP, I recently purchased some plates online, in the description it asks what vehicle it is I own. in the video I noticed the plate holder has the BMW logo on it. I didn't come across any options to select wether the plate holder says the brand or not, just curious about that option where can you select it for any other purchases I later place. thanks
how easy do the squares remove? i definately want to do this to my car but i dont currently own my car so i wanna make sure its a simple process to remove. i know you said in video you can remove without damaging anything but just wondering how
Nice Video. But, sorry u're wrong. In front of the cars plaid didn't come the green "Hauptuntersuchungs-Plakette", just the big "Bundesland-Plakette". In the back, there comes both of them, that the Police can see, if the car has "TÜV" or not. When not, the Police will stop you and you get a ticket. You put a Bavaria (Bavaria/Bayern) Plakette (Sticker) on a Berlin Plade. The "B" stand for Berlin, not "Bayern". Bayern is not a City, it's a "Bundesland" we have 16 in Germany. Berlin is his own "Bundesland". A Plade from Bayern will be: M (Munich/München, here is the home from BMW), HAS (Haßfurt), N (Nürnberg), A (Augsburg), IN (Ingolstadt -here is the home: Audi).... Bayern has over 40 different Plads. We in Germany love US plads. But it's in Germany illegal to put them on u're car. So u can found them in German garages on the wall. Aufwiedersehen 😉👍
why are you doing this in germany no on wants a Number plate on his car every one want the US sice an the US guys want the 52cm ~ 20 inch "cakeplate" kuchen blech
Omg, this license plate is so ridiculous.. First: We neither have the German flag, nor the eagle printed on our license plate. There's supposed to be a blue rectangle with the EU stars circle and a D at the bottom. Second: B is for Berlin, our capital. The light blue and white flag is the state flag of Bavaria. Berlin is a city state in the north east, Bavaria is a state in the south east. Oh.. And we aren't allowed to have "Umlaute" (Ä,Ö,Ü) written on the plates.. Only if it's a part of the citie's abbreviation.
Yes - the Dual Lock attaches to both your bumper and the license plate (or frame) and then you can remove the plate or frame from your bumper and re-attach it later. Keep in mind the Dual Lock will still be attached to your bumper.
The German flag on the left doesn’t exist it’s just blue with a D for Deutschland and the Europa stars And the B stands for Berlin a But the sticker for your state shows Bavaria witch doesn’t make sense because Berlin is not in Bavaria
Hey guys, this “German” plate is not real and only meant for show. It might look nice on your German car in the U.S. but the Letter and stickers don’t match. Kind of embarrassing though 😂
Peinlich 🤦♂️ Berlin ist nicht in Bayern und Ö wird als Buchstabe nach den Aufklebern nicht verwendet. Kennzeichen mit 2 Aufklebern immer hinten montieren

The round sign where "Bayern" says is wrong, because "B" stands for Berlin and Berlin is definietly not in Bavaria ;-)
Thought the Same Xd
Too far to the left!!!!
Just saying!
😭😭

It's not centered.
Drove me crazy, how hard is it when the "BMW" logo is conveniently already centered on the plate
Thanks man I was looking for this video I also didn’t want to drill holes
I love how all the markings, and even the letters and the sticker dont match up. It has a sticker for Bavaria on it, but the Letter "B", but B stands for Berlin, which is 700 kilometers away from bavaria
Just ordered mine today, can't wait to put it on 🍻

some people personally prefer a frame around their plate regardless, just for looks
A frame mounted to your bumper makes it much easier to swap different plates out without having to remount.

So that's more like the American German license plate
There is one Ö for "Altötting" (AÖ) but not in the letters on the right of the seals! Example: AÖ - XY 123
Patrick Schuster wieder was gelernt
IT IS NOT CENTERED!!!
Is it water resistant meaning will it hold if it goes through the car wash?

Is that velcro or mounting tape?
Keep it the best magnet if I use neodym magnet?? Winter, wet, summer hot.... does it keep good?
I am going crazy with my situation! I have a Euro tag I have no clue what to do. My car is a Alfa Romeo Stelvio. Will this work???
Will it also hold up with car washes? On the website it says it doesn't so I want to be sure
*_Please provide information as to where I can buy this product, and precisely what this product is called. It would be helpful!_*
why not to put 3M only to the plates without frame !!
why there are no more mannufactures logos for the plates or mounting frames?
Does it holds very well like if Im going on the freeway is not gonna fall off?
Miguel Lopez A properly installed plate will not fall off on the freeway.
Mine holds on 130+mph. As long as you do it right you won't have any issues.
hey guys, is this illegal to have? do i need my euro plate to have the same numbers/letters as my real license plate?
Do all frames have a bottom strip? What if I don't want a bottom strip?
All of them have a strip and it is what holds the plate in place. Without it the plate would fall out.
💯
Where can I get a license plate bracket that will hold a standard us plate as well as a Japanese one???
Contact malik.hacks on instagram he helped me did mine
is it legal in the U.S. to have vanity plates on both the front and back of the car?
GameClips Yes depends what State
wonder if i can use this in toronto?
Where can I purchase with tape/kit?
Will the 3m tape hold up in wet weather?
Yes, the 3M Dual Lock Kit will hold up in wet weather.
i dont have holes on my front bumper, does that mean i have to drill holes?
No
Hello. Is a license plate with black background and white numbers legal in EU?
nainabla every Country in the EU has their own license plate. For Germany I can say no, not allowed.
Can it be install in colder climate or is it recommended to do when hot?
Wdym? Germany like many European countries don't have hot climates either so of course you can install it. The temperature doesn't matter.
How do they hold up with car washes?
DRTY E30 sadly it doesn't hold up 🙁
Thanks this was my concern too I’ll get the bolt on model
Good thing I read this. I think I will too get the bolted model.

How do I add the 2 symbols between the M and the T?
Simply leave a full space on the plate and add a registration seal set to the order.
ok where do I buy this?!?!
Your website is www.customeuropeanplates.com
The German flag on the left doesn’t exist it’s just blue with a D for Deutschland and the Europa stars

You guys dont accept debt cards?
how easy to remove off bumper? I will sell car eventually and remove plate. how do i remove 3m tape without paint damage?
it comes off together with paint. just saying
@@hasancankamiloglu8899 i think you can remove it like a emblem or badge. Heat gun and fishing line
45$ for one license plate is very expensive...
21$ (20€) for two in Germany..
I paid 80$
this will not work to well on the newer audi grills
conanobr you an zip tie them on the honeycomb Audi grills (such as B8 RS5)
You are absolutely right. I wish I would have seen this before I bought mine. Oh well.
Be careful with the zip ties. They can break the grill. My plate just came in and I'm going back and forth with mounting tape of the zip ties.
Lol that is way off center 🤣
Fake because Berlin (B) is not in Bavaria (the blue and white stripe sticker) I live in Bavaria I no
Oh you no?
Of course it’s fake! It’s only for show
inserting the nob into the slot ... come on ! really ! haha
Not even centered.
Another crooked licence plate installation 'how to'
Lol paper towels *facepalm*
Peinlich 🤦♂️ Berlin ist nicht in Bayern und Ö wird als Buchstabe nach den Aufklebern nicht verwendet. Kennzeichen mit 2 Aufklebern immer hinten montieren
das ist sowas von Verboten in Europa
