Equally Major Criticism: The neigh sample at 2:22 should've been a trumpet player imitating a horse's neigh, just as 1976 Bridgemen did with a soprano bugle.
@@danielmcconnell5902 I've watched far too many pre-2009 and (to a lesser extent) post-2009 drum corps shows; therefore, I can no longer classify any of them as "just band."
I think we ended up placing 21st? This was the crowd at semi finals (our last performance) and people showed up just to see us. You don't see that much attendance at 3pm on semifinals night.
when we say band is fun, this is what we mean
DEFINITELY underrated!!!!!
I love Jon Lacy!
We got a funny guy here (seemingly in the full show)

Dude, it's just band

Where did this place at champs?

hello was that a musescore trumpet sample ? 😭
It’s a recording of the same guy who is pretending to play trombone on his actual trumpet
Yeah, DCI told us it was "too dangerous" for him to play on the podium so we had to do that.
@@brettlarter oh it is a real trumpet? i swore it sounded like a synth 😭 i guess it being an mp3 or whatever would give it that quality makes sense
@@camilleon352 it'd probably be a .wav file instead of a .mp3 file because there's at least 1 audiophile at every drum corps competition
Major Criticism: This should've been the opener of the show, just as 1976 Bridgemen off-the-line'd with William Tell Overture.
This show wasnt an attempt to recreate the Bridgemen, it was a Jersey Surf show paying homage to them.
