This is an edited version of Achilles Last Stand. I made it a little shorter. Super fun covering this one.
I spent a lot of my youth playing Zeppelin on the drums. John Bonham was a huge influence on my heavy playing and what a great drummer. I hope you like it it's one of my favorites.
This was recorded with Sennheiser mics, a 421 on the floor tom and RODE M3 on the Hi Hat. Mixed live through a 16 ch Mackie Mixer with a stereo output to a sound devices. Mastered and compressed with original track in Protools and edited in IMovie.

Yes definitely Gavin is a smooth precision drummer they scored getting him because i thought Maitland was very good i seen the Hemisphere tour in my home city Nanaimo still can't believe they played in my city

Only thing iI can think to add would be to make your stick spins more practical, use it to switch ends, put a nylon tip on one side. Wood tips are better for acoustic jazz settings. ... .
