I've been seeing more videos pop up with Zeppelin songs in them lately, so I'm retrying some of the stuff that's been blocked for a while... - Развлечения
It baffles me how many people just don't know this song! It is one of the most impressive songs of Led Zeppelin.
I have alway felt the same....Masterpiece
It is their best (after No Quarter), It was a constant joke between me and a friend of mine (who hated this song) whenever we drove to Munich (passing the Arabella Hotel) I said to him "This is the place where Achilles was recorded."
Really, baffles? I think all Zeppelin fans know this song off by heart. Those that don’t know this song probably don’t know most of them.
The best Drummer ever
they just don't know Zeppelin
Spot on cover Bro. I’ve always felt Achilles was Bonhams finest recorded work.
Facts man. Live is probably long versions of dazed and confused
That and Fool in the Rain which is an insanely tricky shuffle.
best song from zeppelin, don’t play with me.
A new galaxy was formed when this song was created. The great, fallen heros of our species send their spirits there once they've shaken this mortal coil, and bask together in the pinnacle of human achievement.
The reflection of your face in the kick drum just under the ride looks like Bonzo himself looking on. He would be proud
Ha! I like your eye! Thanks so much, man!
One of their best tunes
That's a fact!!!
Absolutely! This song is perfect!
My fav Zeppelin song
I apologize for being so late to the party. I believe that if God created anything better than Bonham, he kept it himself. You Sir are absolutely amazing. The power, precision and timing. Wow. Thanks
@@edwardcoit9748 Hey 2 year old comment lol. Not a God believer myself but definitely a Bonham believer! Hope you are happy and well sir :)
1:17 I could just watch this all day long honestly
Ha! I feel the same way watching Bonham play those amazing fills towards the beginning of Dazed and Confused during the Danmark's Radio performance!
Kick It Like Bonham definitely one of my favorite bonzo performances. He looked so natural doing it. The very end of dazed and confused live from the song remains the same is insane as well.
Thank you, came here specifically looking for this fill lmao
Good one. I could also.... and all night!
This guy was 400 lbs when he started practicing this song.
Ha, ha! That doesn't feel far off! I would go out for long jogs just listening to this song over and over, trying to memorize the important details. Then, a few late nights practicing along on the practice pad kit to try and get the feel of it. Then, it was three or four takes with the cameras rolling before I got to this version. I feel like I lost about 200 lbs in the process...
oh shit -I think I'll patent The Led Zeppelin diet...
@@KickItLikeBonham This song is PERFECT for spinning bike practice.
Ha ha ha good one!! 😅
Lol
Everybody says nobody can play like Bonham but you come pretty damn close.
Some guys can play the parts, some guys have the power and the feel down but from what i've heard no one has it all.
With you nothing is missing. The feel, the power, the precision.... it's all there. And it's very impressive.
Man, Adam - that has to be one of the nicest comments anyone has ever left! I truly appreciate it, and will definitely use it as fuel for the fire to keep developing as much along these lines as I can (along with whatever I can muster of my own style)! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your comment; it's definitely a nice gust of wind in my sails!
@@KickItLikeBonham Your playing often motivates me to practice and watching your videos has helped me figure out some parts i couldn't get from listening to the original recordings so if my comment gave a little boost in the other direction that's great!
You're a great player, keep it up!
Jimmy Page's magnum opus. IMO, this is the mighty Zep at their very best. The rthym section of this song...Bonzo and Jones...is just incredible.
Your playing sir would have made John Bonham very happy. He'd probably have brought you a pint...or two!
Very well done.
What a fun experience it would be to have a pint (or two) with Bonham. I'd even take him beating the hell out of me at the end of it all if it meant getting to share the time with him...
Thanks so much for such kind words, man!
Correct me if I'm wrong but "Magnum Opus" is referring to Kansas' song?

Outstanding job. Best I have ever heard. On a scale of 1 to 10. This is an 11. He replicated extremely difficult fills and captured the feel and power of Bonham.
Your comment is certainly good for my self-esteem, and I really appreciate the kind words! I can promise you I'll keep holding myself to 11/10 standards, to the very best of my ability 🤗
This is what a cover should be, hi hat work and no overfills like others do, tempo isn't slowed down... Beautiful work
Hell yeah dude! Fuckin amazing cover. That fill at 2:30 was incredible.
Thanks so much, Marcello! I really appreciate it!
@@KickItLikeBonham Fuck yes! That must be the fill where Dave Grohl says that shouldn't be humanly possible. Mother of God - you are awesome. Wow.
All of the fill were incredible ...he nailed them all even the cymbal crashes ...
Absolutely
Agreed. Most people covering the song leave it out, that was sick!
I toured in '93 with Robert and Lenny Kravitz European Tour. My bf at the time was Lenny's bass player Tony Breit. Your playing is a reincarnation of John Bonham. As good or better than the late Michael Lee who was Robert's drummer that tour. Excellent. Truly. Achilles Last Stand is by far one of the most difficult songs to play. A tribute to Bonzo! If you ever feel the mood, 'Bring It On Home' is one of my faves! I'm sure you will do it justice.👍😉
That is AWESOME!!! I really, really appreciate the kind words, Lucille, especially given your experience! I can only imagine the day-in and day-out of being around those personalities for an extended amount of time. I will certainly be tackling Bring It On Home in the near future! Studio AND live!
@@KickItLikeBonham Do you play with Zep Again? And yes it was interesting to say the least. Went all through Europe on buses....
PS..Robert wouldn't ride in his bus. He had a driver and a tricked out Mercedes!
*had to edit..TMI/legal
I am old guy, when I am having a tough day I watch and listen to your video young man. Makes me feel young again, Rock On.
That's as nice as compliments get!!! I'm thrilled to hear it, Rodger! I promise I'll keep making videos and doing the very best I can for you! I wish you all the best, my friend!
AMAZING, My husband has been listening to Led Zeppelin every day for 40 years, he heard these drum and said John Bonham is risen.. amazingly awesome - thanks for sharing ❤
That's a mighty nice thing to say, and I really appreciate it! You can tell your husband that I promise to keep giving this music everything I've got!
Best Bonzo in the net
You make me blush! Thanks, man! I'm in very good company with some incredible drummers out there!
Jon Snow is so underrated as a drummer!
Ha! There wasn't much to do beyond the wall, so the drums seemed like a good option. 😄
The best song of Led Zeppelin in my opinion. What a drum kit, man!!! Congratulations!
What specs. for this tom? 15" x 11"?
Thanks so much, Marcelo! The rack tom is 15x12! It's so massive it actually makes a 26" kick drum look small!
@@KickItLikeBonham WOW!!!
Their most kickass and overlooked song! Great job!
Fantastic. All of it. I’ll be supporting your page soon!! I hope you are safe and well during these times. I do have a question. How do you record these tunes and have your drums front and center sound wise to go along with the music track? It’s as if Bonham has been removed and your sitting in his place. Are you playing along to the regular song and just making sure your drums are loud enough to overtake the drums from the record? Or have the drums from the record been removed?
@@KickItLikeBonham the drumming in this song by Bonzo has been described as horses galloping along at a fierce pace ...Dude , you captured that perfectly. Excellent job ! John Henry Bonham would be extremely proud of you and this is coming from a hardcore Bonham /Zeppelin fan ....very well done young man!
I was a frustrated drummer when this song came out. While I was more of a Danny Seraphine/ Buddy Rich fan then I had a great admiration for John Bonham and you sir nailed it! I wished I could have had the fortitude to stay with drumming, much respect to you and your talent. Thanks for the video.
Hands down the best drum cover of this Led Zeppelin epic! The sound of the drums and the cymbals is also spot on. Bravo.
You my sir, are a badass
FANTASTIC JOB BUDDY
I really appreciate it! Thanks so much for the kind comment, my friend!
I've been a drummer for over 55 years and I got to say this is the best I've ever seen miss this gentleman is a professional drummer and so far I've watched this video over 22 times and by the way you're welcome because I'm still going to be watching this video for a long time it is great drumming I remember always practice cuz that's how I learned how to play drums by listening to these other bands
Wow! That's incredibly kind of you, Alberto! I would highly recommend Bonhamology's cover of this as well (if you haven't seen it already), as I think he's even more accurate than I am in some areas, and he does a great job with all things Bonham! Still, I'll take your words of encouragement and keep putting everything I can into these covers! I promise there will be plenty more to come!
Amazing drumming, absolutely nailed it. Great fills, timing, galloping percussion. Just phenomenal 👏
Love it! Hope it doesn't get taken down again.
I think we're actually in the clear! I guess I can't speak too soon, but the video is showing up again in 'My Videos' and they've credited the song to Zeppelin in the description, which I've only seen in videos that seem to stay up. Fingers are definitely crossed...
dude that is absolute mastery......
Thanks so much for the kind words, man. I've hidden the multiple takes it took to get to this, but I'm happy I can share this video!
@@KickItLikeBonham keep it up dude, if you aren't making a living on those drums you should and could be
that's a pleasure to watch and listen to
I'm glad you enjoyed it, my friend! Thanks so much for the nice comment!
Jeez, dude…that was perfect in every way!
You're very kind, Joel! I really appreciate the comment! All the best to you, man!
so happy this got unblocked. incredible stuff!
You are amazing man
Recently discovered Led Zeppelin and this is by far my fav song by them. Insane cover, very well done!
That's awesome! I'll be the first to admit that it took me a while to fully appreciate the brilliance of this one, so I take my hat off to you for digging it so much this early into discovering Zeppelin! I really appreciate the kind words on the cover, and I hope you have a lifetime of enjoying Zeppelin ahead of you!
The simulation knows what it's doing. 😂
This Could NOT Be Any Better. You Are A Killer Musician let alone Drummer. Grace, Power, Speed and Dynamics. Just Wow! Every Video Is Top.
The drum fills towards the end of the solo are phenomenal dude
Thanks so much, Ethan! I'm still in awe after a thousand listens at how fearless Bonham seemed when cutting these tracks. That's why he is the legend he is, and I'm sitting in my garage playing along to his songs nearly fifty years later. I haven't gotten tired of jamming along to them after any number of times, though!
People always said the driving "Gallop" was due to John Paul Jones's bass... I'm convinced it was Bonham that drove the Gallop lol...
Nice job man.
Definitely the hardest Zep song to play on drums. Its fast, has heavy fills, time changes, oh and it's 10 minutes long. The endurance required to play this in time is insane.
This is definitely a tough one to get through! I've found that once you get past the first half of the song and get into the middle section, the composition allows you a little break for your body to catch up, but then that end hi-hat shuffle is REEEAALLLY tough to lock into cleanly (for me, at least). Believe it or not, I think the studio version of "Rock and Roll," might be the toughest song to play accurately. Bonham is playing soooo many notes on the kick, much more than he ever did live, and then you've got the ghost notes on the snare, and the tempo; that's a calorie burner, for sure! If you haven't heard the isolated drums before, you can hear them here: ruclips.net/video/POLNS8avoyU/видео.html
@Kick It Like Bonham Yes, Rock and Roll is very hard to play correctly, and the endurance to play Achilles last Stand is tough for me. These two definitely stand at as the hardest to play for me. Bonham truly was one of a kind.
Drum set sounds great & great playing...
I really the kind words, man! Thank you so much! It's definitely a blast of a song to play, and I love being able to really lay into this kit and have it give so much back to you! All the best to you, Donny!
I remember when the album came out when I was in High School, Zep blew me away to another level, learned to play this on guitar in my 30's, we never could find a drummer who would play it!! Fine job!!!
Awesome display of musicianship well-done
Thanks so much, Monty! I really appreciate it. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
absolutely spot on man! This is terrific drumming! When will u put a camera on the base drum so we can appreciate and learn from your technique
I will definitely try to cover more kick drum-related technique moving
forward! My goal is to have a lesson video that supplements each of
these covers from now on!
DUDE!!! you killed it!!!! note per note,,,,, Bohnam would be proud of you...
I really appreciate the enthusiastic comment, Tony! Thank you so much! I can promise you I'll always do my best to honor Bonham!
In reading the comments you have received it is difficult to add something, but not as difficult as to the detail and attention and commitment you made to achieve this most incredible reenactment of the Great Bonham. Come one, come all to see the greatest show on earth. After just seeing Live at Knebworth, your epic work here has raised the bar to challenge us drummers to excel at the impossible.
Ha, ha! Well, I will say your comment does stand out as incredibly kind, but also resonates as a rewarding call-to-action to keep pushing yourself to be the best you can be. There's a still plenty I would like to revisit in this song - more ghost notes, I screwed up one of the hits at the end, and for the life of me, I couldn't play the funky disco hi-hat part at the end correctly after multiple takes, so I had to cheat my way through that part. But I really do appreciate you noticing the effort I put into getting this as close as I could, and it is with that standard that I shall continue to try and hold myself! Make the myths, my friend!
Nice work. You have definitely been practicing and you sound good. I'm impressed and really enjoyed listening to you! Right on brother
It's kind of sh_tty when you have to like your own comment 2 months ago!
As a scrawny youth I watched Zeppelin perform this at Knebworth England in1979..The greatest gig l have ever seen and I have seen hundreds...It is now on RUclips and it still gives me goosebumps Your performance was superb, well played🥁
Count me as chartreuse with envy! It's tough not to default to seeing as many Zeppelin shows as possible if time travel were real, but alas, I was born three years after Bonham gave up his ghost. I really appreciate your kind words, especially given your experience. I'll keep trying to do the man as much Justice as I am capable of.
Playing this masterpiece on bass and it is pretty hard to keep this tempo all the time, just rock dude u are awesome. Best drum cover definitely.
That's awesome, man! And I agree - like all things Zeppelin-related, JPJ is the underappreciated master of holding or driving a song to it's glorious heights! His bass on this track is what makes the heard of buffalo that it is. Bonham's drums are amazing, but JPJ is the one that's chopping down trees with his razor sharp pick!
My #1 song of Zep.......you did a awesome rendition...spot on👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✌🏻
Absolutely phenomenal! That track is a true test of stamina by anyone's standards and you absolutely nailed it. Not a step wrong for the entire ten minutes...very impressive!
That means a ton, Steve! Just the stamina required to try and remember everything, let alone try to play along with it, was one of the accomplishments I'm most proud of for this channel. I really appreciate your comment, man - Thank you!
Dude you’re actually insane, to pull off this song takes lots of dedication. Bonzo would be very proud❤
jon Snow on drums! Amazing ,mate! grettings from Brazil!
Man, I was just in Brazil touring around with the led Zeppelin band I play in! We're called Led Zepagain! This was our third year going down, and it's always a great time!
Also, I know nothing!
Whomever tuned this set was spot on ! And those cymbals no 2 are ever alike . spot on ! Impressive !
:)...Great job with one of Bonzo's most trying grooves...This is such a fun song to play along to...You pick up so many awesome licks to add to your own inventory...This song separates the wheat from the chaff...I've been playing this song for 40 years and not until today did I read the lyrics...WOW! They gave me an even better appreciation for how great Zep is; Here they are;
It was an April morning when they told us we should go
And as I turned to you, you smiled at me
How could we say no?
With all the fun to have, to live the dreams we always had
Whoa, the songs to sing when we at last return again
Sending off a glancing kiss to those who claim they know
Below the streets that steam and hiss
The devil is in his hole
Oh to sail away to sandy lands and other days
Oh to touch the dream, hides inside and never seen
Into the sun the south the north, at last the birds have flown
The shackles of commitments fell in pieces on the ground
Oh to ride the wind, to tread the air above the din
Oh to laugh aloud, dancing as we fought the crowd
To seek the man whose pointing hand
The giant step unfolds
To guide us from the curving path
That turns our feet to stone
If one bell should ring in celebration for a king
So fast the heart should beat as proud the head with heavy feet
Days went by when you and I bathed in eternal summer's glow
As far away and distant our mutual child did grow
Oh the sweet refrain soothes the soul and calms the pain
Oh Albion remains, sleeping now to rise again
Wondering and wandering
What place to rest the search
The mighty arms of Atlas hold the heavens from the earth
The mighty arms of Atlas hold the heavens from the earth
From the earth
I know the way, know the way, know the way, know the way
Oh the mighty arms of Atlas hold the heavens from the earth
Awesome just one question, who in the holly name of fuckness dislike this?
Beautiful, your playing actually put a smile on my face!
✌️😀🎸🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
And your comment put a smile on my face, so I'm happy to keep reciprocating as much as possible!
I've commented a little while back how I thought this was the best cover of the song and I still do. I'm not sure if you recall, but I mentioned how I judge it on the two drum fills. The obvious lightning fast one at about the 1:16 Mark and then the small subtle one at about the 2:55 mark. I said it back then and I will say it again. You nailed them perfectly! Oh and the SHOWCO t-shirt is a nice touch! LOL 😉😉😉😉
I finish my boxing workout to this drumbeat/song, the best Zeppelin song, after 10 round and finishing with this song I take my hat/groves off to you dude and of course "Bonham"
That's the most badass thing I've heard in a while! Thanks so much for the awesome comment, man!
If LZ were auditioning for a drummer they would stop after hearing your audition. Absolute perfection.
Keep on rocking!
You're very generous, Sebastian. Thanks so much, my friend!
I really want to see you vs Jason Bonham now
And now Derek you’ve come full circle hood for you man!, Mike.
Hey Mike! It is fun to think back to how much fun it was to record these videos in my garage for the fun of it, and how it ultimately led to playing in Get The Led Out, and Mr. Jimmy, and all the amazing musicians I've been fortunate to jam with and get to know...I'd love to go back and shake the younger version of me's hand for utilizing the time I had to pave the way for a career and family that's better than anything I could've imagined at that stage. I'll see you at a show again soon, my friend!
That is one of the best renditions of that song I have heard. You even have the period specific ludwig drum kit, double awesome!
Thanks so much, Markus! I really appreciate the kind words, and am glad you dug the kit, too! There will definitely be more of this one coming along soon!
this is extremely impressive. You deserve the praise you’ve received for this piece. Excellent.
I always enjoyed this song because of the drums' arrangement. You made this very enjoyable to watch especially when you do the fill around the toms. I only hope BMI or whoever manages Led Zep now see this for what it really is. Keeping the flame alive on great music, you showed a lot of skill putting this together, thanks for sharing your passion.
Dude. Just stellar. I can't stop watching it. one or two times a day for the last month.
Ha, ha! That's awesome! I know any number of Zeppelin songs can be the gift that keep on giving, but you really do have so much to tap into with this one - how much energy and focus is required to get through it all, the fearlessness of Bonham's approach from start-to-finish, the way all the musicians meld their parts together...

Definitely the hardest song I’ve played so far, great job I hope I can play it like this one day
It is a serious challenge! I would just recommend putting on a good set of headphones and jamming along to this one, section by section. If you have the ability to record yourself, even just using your cell phone, it'll help immensely to hear where things are solid and where you need to improve; recording yourself is easily the best way to improve, in my opinion - just like an athlete studying footage to improve on their mistakes. And! If you've only been playing drums for a short while, definitely be patient and give yourself some time. I would definitely say this is a solid intermediate-expert song to try and lock in.
Such a tiring and hard song to learn and play in it’s entirety but when you learn it and you’re playing it, and feeling it…. god it’s such a great feeling
wow' great drums cover sir, thanks for sharing..
I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for the kind words, my friend!

Stellar! Spot on.
Thanks so much again, my friend!
You know, I have up playing (shoulder issues) 2 yrs ago. Now it just makes me smile watching someone else doing it better. Someday if your in Milwaukee I'll buy ya a beer.
Man, I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder! I've had some back issues in the past that have definitely affected my ability to play up to the standard I hold for myself, and it's felt like a looooong road back to the quality of drinking I want to put out there. As a result, I really feel for you if you haven't ever recovered enough to play to your full potential; it's definitely disheartening.
I can promise you I'll keep giving these videos and drumming everything I've got! It's certainly a fun hobby making these videos whenever I have a chance, so if there's anything in particular you're interested in hearing, just let me know!
@@KickItLikeBonham Your body breaking is just what happens when you try to play like Morgan Rose for yrs lol. I don't know how he still even does it. If I just would have gotten into Bonham earlier I probably wouldn't have had as many problems 😁
No sour grapes, I had a awesome life and loved playing. I only wish I would being so hard on myself and practicing myself to death.
This is my favorite song all the time!! So cool😁👍👍
I love hearing that!Thank you so much for the nice comment!
You brought Bonzo’s spirit back to life ! I play this song often while driving to then gym ! Spectacular ! I also play often now “ All My Love “ which had a superb beat as well ! I relate this song to losing my father a few years ago.
He is definitely the feather in the wind ! Wish he never went away…

@@KickItLikeBonham Fantastic, looking forward to it! Bonzo and Jonesy's interaction during the Over the Hills solo on the 4th is another one I'd love to watch/hear.
It's not the technique that's the hard part in the song... it's the fucking stamina you need to have to make it to the end. Badass!
You are really in the pocket man! So many great fills in this cover! Nice Job!
Again, I really appreciate it, man! Thank you so much for all the kind comments you've thrown my way! This really is a fun song that forces you to take chances from start-to-finish; I don't think there's any point where I can relax and say, 'okay, we're in the clear!'

That's awesome, man! I know it's been quite a few years since I recorded this, but comments like yours still help justify all the time I put into getting this video together. BONHAM approved!
Great hoss!👍🏼
Thanks so much, man!
You must feel so smug/relieved when you pull off the fill at 1:16. Incredible stuff
Wow,,,, that was perfect!
There are two parts in particular that I know I messed up on. At some point, I want to revisit this song and correct those...
What a champion. I was exhausted just watching this, it's a drummer sprint
Ha, ha! That's a great way to put it - sprint! The kick drum work in this is just shin-crushing. Still, it's a blast to play and definitely satisfying once you've made it through!
NOT BONHAM, but pretty damn fucking awesome!
Power, precision and finesse. Best cover I've ever heard. Stellar work, my friend.
Thank you so much, Dan! I promise I'll keep giving these covers my best effort! Anything in particular you'd like to hear?
Phenomenal!!!
Thanks so much, Tim! I really appreciate it, my friend!
great drum tune...you SWING ...which is so important...Bonzo was a drummer who could SWING...IM sure u know what im talkin about....cut away all the latest gear shear and all that crap...if it aint got that swing it aint got that swing....jaded as it might sound...its TRUE...if you have any other project...carry that thru...you WONT go wrong...peace n luv brother...MIZORAM india👍👍👍👍
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing! All the drummers I love most have that inherently musical 'push and pull!' All the technique in the world means next to nothing to me if it doesn't make your body want to move!
I really appreciate the kind words, my friend! I'm trying to fill my life with as many musical endeavors as possible, so I'll do my best to keep sharing them all here!
1:17 *Yeah ok teach me how to do that hahah*
Ha, ha! Well...the shortest advice I can give is just to do 16th note singles on your snare drum for at least a full measure / 4-count. Once you feel pretty good with that, start working your way around the toms doing the same thing!
What about at 2:30?
@@Sirlordpaulistinha YES,2:29 is fucking GOLD !!
JPJ was fucking RIDING through bass in this... He is a fucking warrior... Forget about the bass and try to listen only the bass.. this song is epic because of him.
Everyone was firing on all cylinders here
Wow, that metal kit sounds unbelievable! Are there crazy overtones to deal with when tuning? Is that a reissue, or vintage? That's a 15 inch mounted tom. That is ridiculous, and gotta find that kit! Great job on the cover too
Overall, the overtones aren't too bad. With Bonham's sound, you almost want some of that 'ring'. This is the reissue kit that Ludwig and Ron Dunnett put out back around 2006.
@@KickItLikeBonham I've got the 24 Giant Beat, and 2002. Both are the best ride/multi purpose cymbals out there (vintage 602's nice too) Anyway, to get those crashes, I have to angle em basically like yours. Bonham had em like that too. If ya wanna make a statement live, nothing like crashing on those sucker! Using a speed king?
Love it. Thanks for showing. I'll play it vicariously in my dreams, drums or any part.
Freakin' brilliant!!
Thanks so much, man! I love your RUclips name!!!
How on earth do you dislike this.
Skill, power and THAT sound. I’ve listened to this without facing the screen…it’s just like listening to the album.
Outstanding!!! That massive ride mounted to the kick 👍🏻
If you ever want to feel like a kid again, sit behind drums and cymbals this massive! 😂
*Masterpiece cover. Perfect work and the best on RUclips.*
Chapeau!
Jon Snow on drums!
Christ, I'd no idea Jon Snow could play drums as well as he wields a sword! Joking aside, brilliant rendition of the great man's work. Thank you so much - I really felt the heart and soul in this.
The first time I listened to this song the thing that stuck with me the most were hands down the drums. I instantly thought "holy shit, this has got to be some of the most intense drumming I ever heard". The fact that there's so few covers of this proves me right, and you absolutely nailed it, dude! Awesome job!
Right?!?! Everyone brought their absolute best to this one, but Bonham just jumps out so quickly and clearly. He is fearless and in total control! It definitely was a labor of love recording this cover (and all the prior takes it took me to get to this one), but your comment is very generous and much appreciated! It makes those hours well worth it!
Okay... I’ve been playing guitar since I was 10 years old. I’m 57 now. And though guitar is huge part of my life, I’ve always been fond and mesmerized by drums. I stumbled upon your channel, thankfully. You are without a doubt one of the best I’ve ever seen. I used to go to clubs and concerts, and you would think I would watch the guitar players all the time. Most of the time I used to watch the drummers. The same goes for your channel. I can watch your playing for days. Perfect timing. Exceptional. Thank you. 👍🤟
It brought a tear to my eyes. Some serious rehearsal was done here. Bonham would be proud ! I'm a carpenter and I really gotta say you "Nailed It" ! Oh and kodo's to the guy who tuned your set. Nailed it also . I'm floored !
Outstanding!!!! You did justice to one of my favorite songs featuring one of my favorite drummers
I got exhausted watching you play, great job! That's such a classic song, brought me back to my youth. Thank you for sharing your awesome talent!
I really appreciate it, Scott! Thanks so much, man!
