I picked one up in matt tech kamo , it already had a few decent bits on it like the comfort seat which is amazing..you could ride all day no problem , footplates , sport screen , bar ends. Ive just changed rear shocks slightly shorter dropping the back a little, waiting for an arrow endcan now. Also changed rollers for sliders making it smoother and possibly slightly better take off.. its good for a cruising scooter but needs a little more punch ! I'm interested to see what you do , all the best .
I managed to pick up a set of footplates on EBay last week for £165 which I thought was a bargain in comparison with what they’re going for elsewhere. I’m looking forward to getting it ready for trips to the coast … like you say, good cruising scooter. Weathers getting better. Just hope we don’t have a summer like the last one.
Same here (Sweden) Took A test drive yeasterday at the dealer. Im 177cm (5'9-10 or something) Just almost toes on the ground. Perhaps I was sitting way back, first time on this strange/new machine.
Yeah. I’m 6ft and the balls of my feet just about touch both sides. Fitting the Comfort Saddle this weekend and will be seeing if that’s an improvement. Didn’t want to go with the lowered saddle as I thought I’d prefer comfort. (The original saddle isn’t that comfortable … not sure if that’s down the rear rear suspension though.)
Interested in the mods your looking to make and definitely interested in what rear shocks you try it's the exact real issue I can criticise my Tricity 300. So far I have done handguards and a arrow silencer and a xmax hugger on the way which will hopefully stop the engine from getting filthy.
I’m actually weighing up a few options at the moment. Does the Arrow Silencer make any difference buddy? Looking at the Akropovic to change the exhaust note and make it sound less “mopedy”.
@@ModProjects4306 definitely improves the looks and sound I run it with the bung in and it's just right loud for me much lighter than the stock one too and half the cost of the akrapovic. Ohlins do rear shocks for the Xmax 300 which is what the rear half of ours is but they are not cheap

Bought the ohlins xmax shocks and they fit and work perfectly really pleased with them
You shouldn't have to ever plant your feet down on these things is what I've heard because u just just lock to the wheels coming to a stop
… this isn’t entirely true. You can use the lock system but it’s a bit squirly when you accelerate away especially on junctions.
