Skillet doesn't get the credit they deserve. An underrated band for sure.
Its because they are a Christian band and people usually have a problem with that and that's coming from me an Athiest.

Hero, Feel Invincible, Monster, Awake and Alive, Rise and Legendary are all great songs by Skillet worth checking out

Skillet is one of main bands that put Christian Rock Music on the mainstream map. The lead vocalist and the female guitarist are married. They have plenty of songs like this. Monster and Hero are AMAZING tracks.
Their themes are what really drive me to them. Definitely need to listen to Standing in the Storm, Finish Line, Legendary, Ignite, Rebirthing, Back to Life, The Last Night, Better Than Drugs, Forever or the End....there is just so many with good music and uplifting messages. Should also check out some songs but Jen's side project Ledger, and John and Seth's project Fight the Fury.
Skillet highly underrated. Saw them twice so far with line up changes. Check the whole Comatose album lmao. Some of their new stuff is a little slower but it’s still all good.
After all these years, Comatose is still my favorite album as a whole! 😄

If you’re close to the stage prepare to have your face melted off because Skillet uses a lot of pyrotechnics.

@@gemergeek-oz9fw not sure how much they do in smaller venues. I’ve only seen them in arenas with massive stages where they have plenty of room for the fire to operate in.

It's either, "I can, because I'm beautiful and you're not", or, more common, "You can't, because of someone else's evil intent". Great band, awesome messages, fantastic energy. You, in fact, can. That is all.
Little disappointed the video cut the full intro with the little girl and the chorus singing before the guitars started up. The girl singing in the full intro is the daughter of lead singer/bassist & the rhythm guitarist. How’s that for married life? Your wife joins in and rocks just as hard as you do.
Some other great songs of theirs about dealing with mental health and just life in general are Sometimes and Never Surrender

Never Surrender is a great option! I think Cliff could really relate to it as well.
I want Would It Matter played at my funeral, not for me but everyone who is there. Victorious is probably my favorite though.

Jen Ledger is the back-up vocals, & drummer for Skillet, but she also has her own EP out, I'm not dead yet, & My Arms are two of my favs, you should check her out.
Skillet - Hero great song and made my buy a guitar because I was so impressed and I definitely did not get anywhere close to their level lmao
i used to have a crush on the drummer as she was from coventry uk if i remember correctly and that was near me haha
Monster is certainly one of the best in the line up of great songs from this band

reminds me of my chlidhood here in Thailand all my friend listen to local music or Thai music there's only few people like me and my homies in my class that listen to Skillet/Linkin Pak/thousand foot krutch it's funny that i love these song while i don't even understand an English at all

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "Tom Traubert's Blues (4 Sheets to the Wind in Copenhagen)" by Tom Waits (Also known as "Waltzing Matilda"). His voice is so unique that one critic once described it as though "it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months and then taken outside & run over with a car"! ah bullying yourself into doing things, yeah been doing that for some time works pretty good.
Skillet is the BEST. But they have been 'canceled ' for being Christians by this 'new behaviour' which is sad. I love them. Their songs, many of them, are incredible.
