That's a crazy walking road indeed, just shows how much locals are used to these rough roads

Yes! It was quite scary! The locals are experts and can carry huge loads on their backs whilst walking through the terraces, it’s amazing ❤️

It is said that This is one of the candidates for the spot of 8th wonders of the world alongside Sigiriya fortress in Sri Lanka, and Angkor wat in Cambodia

Banaue & Batad the famous ones but you can actually find a lot of beautiful rice terraces in the Cordilleras like the one in Maligcong Bontoc, Mt.Province which I personally say is more amazing.

Where did you hike the second day? Do you have to pay for the rice presentation

So it’s all included in the price when you book at the tourism office. You can choose to do 2 days (1 night) or 3 days (2 nights). We did 2 days and staying in a village in between banaue and batad. The rice presentation had already started when we arrived at the rest point- so I’m not sure how often they do it.
