Lmao your pissed off face in the car at the end made the video Stokze, l’ve been there a few times too on FB market place.
There’s probably a good reason why the limo is in the scrappy it could well be an MOT failure plus if it’s a V12 they can be temperamental and expensive to repair, plus it’s been sat in long grass for God knows how long so could also need welding, if you could get it for a monkey it might be worth a punt but not for a grand.
Next time you're in Glasgow go to the street behind the Lidl in possilpark there's a mk2 xr2 and a xr3i sitting in a garden

the thing about wanting to save every cool older car is having rose tinted spectacles. i will never buy a car especially an older one without looking underneath it first, any rusting or bubbling on sills or chassis seams = avoid like the plague

For t4 parts try Harry Buckland just off m5 near Cheltenham he has a commercial section and does have older and newer cars.
He has jag parts and cars for sale, but personally I'd stay away from a limo it's hearse which limits resale.
For advice give lowdown transporters a try.
Same thing happened to me many years ago. Went to look at a car after confirming it was still for sale. Travelled over a hundred miles, got there, it was sold. 😮

Really limited market for the Daimler limo, so even if you get it running and MOT'd, you will struggle to sell it at all, let alone for a profit.

Dude! Think of the Range Rover as a lucky break, yes it’s cool and yes it might of made a few quid but like the Jag it’s going to be a money pit. The head has to rule over the heart for this to work. Think Mike Brewer and less Matt Armstrong. Armstrong has his dad and a few mates helping, Brewer uses a mechanic. If you have a grand to buy a car use it to get that camper gone while the suns out and folk will impulse buy/trade thinking of next summer’s adventures. Trading up, not side ways. You still got this 👊

Be careful buying vehicles from scrap yards. Once they have filled the documents in for recycling or destruction, they cannot be put back on the road. You can only use them for parts. But most won't tell you that as all they care about is the money. A mate of mine got stung that way when he bought a mk 2 granada he wanted to restore.
