Great video and detailed about the town of Summit. I’m currently looking to purchase and it’s a toss up between Summit and Westfield for my wife and I.
Set aside the prices of the houses..$50,000 per year property taxes ? Those houses one might aspire to as a young person, not the mansions but the nice sized charming drafty old houses..The American Dream dies at the foot of those property taxes. In 10 years 58..15 years 62.. We used to go the town center and pull over for 5-10 minutes to pickup a coffee/ pastry a sandwich or a juice or a soup just to enjoy the pretty town center all the time, but a year and a half ago all the pickup/standing only spots were all blocked off with ugly cones so they can't be unsed. What a ridiculous idea . Those spots were of some service. So we havent shopped there in over a year due to that.
Thanks for the comment @merseybeat1963! The struggle for obtaining the American Dream is real! Property taxes and the price of housing in markets like Summit can be very challenging because of these dynamics. But there are options for every income bracket, and I endeavor to cover the full continuum of markets in northern and central NJ.
✨️Excellent✨️
Thanks for the support.🙏

Summit and Westfield are great towns. I love Chatham too.

Thanks for the comment @Brick, feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any specific questions.
are you planning on covering south jersey as well?
@Jinwoo I mostly will be covering north Jersey and occasionally central Jersey and a few towns at the shore. Do you have a specific town in mind?
