Turning an Insert for a Cello Anchor on the Table Saw

  • I have a Cellist friend, who kept wearing out her plastic end-pin anchors. She didn't want to switch to a metal one as those damage the end-pin, so I made a wooden inset to go into her plastic anchor.

    Really cool idea. I have three of those straps as I am a teacher and performer. That plastic does wear out. I just used black Apoxsee which kind of levels itself out. At the end one can just scrape away at it to level it even more or use a drill bit attachment on a drill press to level it.
