Your editing highlights of relevant elements of the UI and unit cards as you mention them are a fantastic help for keeping up with the commentary, at least for newer viewers. Always a treat to watch.
Thanks dude, sorry to keep you waiting - afraid real life always comes first but I will do my best to be as consistent with the uploads as I can. Hope the rest of your week goes well!
Literality tried to roll over you with the Steelballs in the early game. Held the line and was able to push back. You had a quite a lot of resource on the right side of the map when they really played nothing over over, but in the end it worked out and the encroaching flank helped wrap up the game nicely Anti air snipers... the sole reason i dont pick aerial specialist. untouchable backline with bonus range and air priority. sitting at almost if not past 200 range. if you cant keep them distracted you just cant play any air outside of wasp swarm which is countered almost as easily. Beautiful game as always, i was wondering if the rhino or the melting point was right play, turned out it was wraith behind something to take a missile XD Red arrows always helpful, edits on point. Loving the quality of the videos. As always, wishing you the best of luck and all the Sledgehammers!
Thanks dude! Editing DRN always appreciates the compliments and the detailed comments help me reflect on the game that sometimes I forget whilst editing the video. Missing the wood for the trees kind of things :D
Yeah was a great round for us! Missiles are very strong on the line but it was also the turn we took the damage item Typhoons from level 1 to level 3, matched his Wraith's Range, and he did missile us as well if I remember correctly!
Have tended to find that once you sell things on your weak side people just pivot into attacking it, so I was hoping to pre-empt the pivot and yeah unlocking sell costing 100 and only yielding 200 in returns from the Stormcaller sell didn't feel worth it. Against Aggro I'm trying to let them run out of steam because late game I think the defender is favoured so long as you correctly answer the primary threats in the early and mid game. Missiles in the final rounds will pancake anything positioned on the line usually making it an uphill battle for them.
@@Drone_101 Stormcallers definitely put in more work than their cost. So it makes sense not to sell them. As I have slowly climb MMR, I am now selling too much to make up for all the time at lower MMR when I wasn't selling enough =D
No worries mate, it's a fantastic game except for the 1 soundtrack provided with it - if you play it for a while can become a tad bit blah. Just been seeing streamers using external soundtracks, seem to be working.
Hey dude, I'm currently 1830. At time of recording I was low 1700s, always keep my MMR visible in the videos so people know what to expect. I'm far from the best but decent enough to give a few pointers here and there to less experienced folks. I tend to bounce between 1700-1900 depending on the patch, my mood and just how much time I've had not just to play but also to think about the game that week. In 2v2s I've been to the lofty heights of top 3 in Europe after a few good runs were I can enjoy the social and more relaxed nature of the 2v2 game mode. Have found my more late-game centric 'cover all the bases then punish them with scaling or extreme range' works well there when paired with an aggressive or tempo centric partner to give us threats at both ends of the game. Much to Editing DRN's chagrin as he has to edit longer and longer videos as I lean into that play style more and more :D What MMR are you yourself if you don't mind me asking?
@@deserted_eagle2551 Nice one! Comfortably above average there, I think the biggest peak is around 800-1000 MMR. Not bad at all for only 100 hours in to a PvP game of this depth and complexity! Thanks dude, can't promise to always win - but will do my best to have a fun time and learn something either way :D

Thank you kind sir, appreciate the feedback, hope I can keep the standard high and the games engaging for both veteran players and newer viewers!
This is my favorite part of the week, a new DRN Video!

I'm soo glad that this channel exist.
Because of you, mister DRN I get to play this incledible game.
Thank you.
My pleasure dude! Glad you're having as much fun as I am :D

I genuinely swore in surprise at the turnaround on round 6. Seemed to happen so fast! The power of sentry missiles I guess
Yeah was a great round for us! Missiles are very strong on the line but it was also the turn we took the damage item Typhoons from level 1 to level 3, matched his Wraith's Range, and he did missile us as well if I remember correctly!
@4:12 *Audible snicker* Well done Editing DRN *nods*
Haha, he puts those in to amuse himself, glad you're enjoying them too :D
That tower takedown in the last round was just barely in time. Kinda funny how once the wraiths went down the board suddenly seemed so empty
Yeah - we were totally saved by the bell there. If he took our tower first the whole round flips. Part of what makes the game so much fun though!
Happy to see a good Rhino play.
Saved our bacon!
Fire control Typhoons my beloved
Pew-pew!
Any reason you didn't sell out of the Stormcallers on the left side? Was it because you didn't think you were going to need to unlock the sell?

Nice one man, please consider having the in game music off ...
Thanks, I'll have a look as see how the game sounds without the music, might be a touch dry tho!
