If I had a nickel for every time DRN said he needed something and then waited at least two rounds to get it, I'd have enough for for a full fast food meal haha.
Couple of mistakes in this video that Editing DRN was feeling generous enough to overlook: Round 2 - using the missile to kill my wasps would also kill his own wasps if he summoned them at the back there too, no clue what I was thinking. Round 7 - buying Range and Split beam on the Melters would (and did) cost 650 not 750. Quick maths! Round 8 - should've used the EMP on the most forward set of Wasps, they were the carry doing damage not the Phantom Rays. Round 9 - we're limited to 8 devices per turn not 10, you can see it on the UI in the bottom right just above the unit purchasing cards. We don't give the spectator betting against us a TASTE of our mind, we give them a PEICE of our mind. Post match review - Aggro bought the Rhinos with both Armor and Photon on the same turn we picked up the Melting Points. Sorry guys, I was pretty tired for this one and it was just an opportunistic video I hoped you'd find interesting, seeing me playing outside my comfort zone :D
amazing game, great to see you back and great welcome back game!! Been loving the Phantom Rays, but they really are win more UNTIL they are countered like you said melting points are the answer to 90% of the late game and every beefy unit. Not too sure about the missiles, really interesting, need more experimenting. Wishing you the best of luck and all the Sledgehammers!
Thanks dude, glad you're still about too :D Missiles are just a quick way of chaff clearing when you're closing in on the win and need one good tempo round to end the game. Don't rely on them, and probably don't play them when there's been a spell offered on the cards if you think the enemy will shield, but they defo have a role in closing game doctrine.
Thanks dude! It's all good, just a busy time of year and I bunched a few things up to make space for seeing family before hand so it's partly self inflicted! Enjoying the game still, playing more 2v2 than 1v1 atm though which has it's own meta and style.
Great game dude! I've been playing on my gfs steam deck a bit while traveling. The phantom rays are fun but im not sure how they excel yet. London was a bit of a dud but Milan and Paris were incredible. Happy Christmas!
Thanks dude, sorry to hear London wasn't stellar, will admit it's not my favourite city either, too much grey, too much concrete and too many people! Glad you had a ball in Milan and Paris, are you or the missus working in fashion design now or something? :D
Haha, yeah - not my best performance, in my defence I wasn't planning on recording a video tonight it was just too good of an opportunity to miss. Games against AGGRO are always good fun!
Think my thought process was that we needed a bit more punch, we were getting stuck on the big Worm for days. While HE Ammo gives you the extra splash for faster chaff clearing and can let the Spiders keep on top of Loose Formation Crawlers, Mech Rage lets them shoot faster for better dps against both big and small target and move quicker for extra tower pressure when opportunities arise. Not sure, it just felt right as the first pick tech on them in this situation!
Hey DRM, I'm happy to see you are still around. There's a lot good Mecha content, but your videos are special.
Happy to see more 😊
Keep going.
Thanks NANA!

Haha, either I like to plan too far ahead or I'm easily distracted and forgetful! A little of column A and little of column B ;D
The wasp commit was crazy, nearly worked! Wp drn :")
That's ^^AGGRO^^'s trademark style. You expect Wasp, you get Wasp, you either kill them or die trying!
Always a good day when a new drn video drops!
Thanks dude! Hope you're keep well and enjoying the game :D
the hallelujah when the melter was offered 🤣👌
Bearlike provides once again! :D Truly we are blessed.
favourite Mechabellum content
Thanks dude!
@15:53 🎉CROWD GOES WILD🥳
DOUBLE THE STATS! HALF THE PRICE! CAN'T SAY FAIRER THAN THAT!

@13:38 Editing DRN is a Timelord, and is just messing with DRN who's currently playing the game by opening the chat box seemingly "randomly" 😂
He's a cheeky blighter!

Good to see you back! Talking for 9 Days straight sounds awful to me, so I hope you feel better soon!

@Drone_101 I've still been playing a lot of 4 player FFA. It feels so much lower stress, and I do a lot of meme builds just to see what happens.
@@ebenmaynard7274 Good call! I love 4 player free for all but the old combat power loss was so punishing, thankfully that's gone now!
Well that was exciting!
Was a fun game - always interesting playing vs people with unique play styles and having to solve a puzzle that's very different to usual.

Good game DRN!
(Hi Aggro!!!)
Hahaha, thanks Jesse!
You know DRN's been away for a bit and gotten out of practice when he stumbles over a monologue :P
Edit: Never mind, should never have doubted

Lazer light show
Why not splash on the tarantulas, maybe instead of rage?
