- In this video, you will see how a deputy from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office handled a challenging situation involving a driver who was suspected of driving under the influence (DUI) and battery on a law enforcement officer (LEO). The video shows the deputy’s body camera footage, as well as the audio from the driver’s phone, which captured the entire incident. The deputy responded to a traffic crash in Weston, FL, where one of the drivers appeared to be severely impaired. The driver had a hard time communicating and was acting volatile. She seemed to be unaware of what had happened during the accident, and did not cooperate with the deputy’s questions or instructions…. things went downhill from there.
