On Her Way To Show Her Sister That She Isn't Drunk (Spoiler: She's VERY Drunk)

- On October 3, 2020 at 11:45 p.m., an officer was on his way to a call concerning a bank robbery in Pasco County, Florida when an unrelated vehicle almost ran into his patrol car before speeding away. The officer performed a stop on the vehicle and when he confronted the driver, he noted that her eyes were bloodshot, glassy and watery, there was the strong smell of alcohol coming from inside the car, her speech was slurred, and the documents she retrieved from her glovebox were wet, as if she’d thrown a drink in there. When the driver opened her car door to talk to the officers, they could see multiple hard seltzer cans on the floor of the vehicle. When asked about them, the driver explained that she hadn’t drunk them, but rather her and her friends had mixed them together to make “jungle juice”. She further explained that she was coming from a party and that her sister was mad at her because she was currently in A.A. and her sister suspected that she’d been drinking at the party. She was currently on the way to her sister’s house to prove to her that she wasn’t drunk. She insisted to the officers that she hadn’t had anything to drink, so they initiated some field sobriety tests.
During the horizontal gaze nystagmus test, the driver kept moving her head and had an emotional breakdown in the middle of the test. Before she was given the instructions for the walk-and-turn test, she was asked if she had any injuries or illnesses that might interfere with the test, to which she responded that she was exposed to COVID the week prior. This initially led the officers to believe that they might not be able to take her, forcing the responding officer to go through the process of calling the jail and confirming the COVID protocol. Once the officer confirmed that they could still bring the driver to jail, they continued on with the field tests. The next test was the walk-and-turn. The suspect failed to maintain the starting position and wobbled noticeably throughout the test and during the turn. Next was the one-leg stand, where she also wobbled throughout the test, but managed to keep her foot raised for an impressive amount of time. The officer then had her perform the finger-to-nose test, which she failed on the fourth prompt. Lastly, she was asked to close her eyes and recite her ABCs, at which point the officer snuck behind her and placed her under arrest. She was charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence, and possession of a Schedule 4 controlled substance that was found later. Though the exact substance isn’t specified, Florida’s Schedule 4 drug list currently includes Tramadol, Valium, Ambien, and Xanax.

The excuse of "being notoriously bad at my left and right" is about the dumbest excuse that I've ever heard🤭 It's also the first and probably last time that I'll ever hear of it again 🤣🤣 The constant fake crying is absolutely ridiculous!!! I'm thinking that if she's drinking before her AA meetings, I'd say that they are probably not helping her at all🤔 I find it funny that she doesn't burst out crying when she is being arrested. She actually gets rude with the officer's.

Should be arrested for going into public “knowing she has Covid” should just have ankle monitors in the car, and if they say they’ve been in public and know they have Covid to get out of an arrest,the cop should drive them immediately home put on the ankle monitor and make them stay home for 10 days. 😂 that would cure that excuse pretty quick.
