Thanks for the Great Racing Cale, & Memories as a KID in the late 70's I was all about the Holly FARMS Car & who can forget his ride from Hardee's I even had the Hot Wheels Truck Trailer & the Hardee's Car, You're a Awesome, Driver & Southern Gentleman of the Finest Kind, God Speed...& Prayers to your , Family..
To me, one of the greatest nascar drivers of all time!!! I had the privilege of meeting him at the carolina sportsman's classic several years ago In Lake City, South Carolina .. I spent thirty minutes talking to this man about racing... A dream come true!! RIP Cale....
Cale was my favorite driver growing up. I was blown away when he came on dukes of hazard episode. I thought wow that Bo Duke must be a great driver if Cale sits in the back seat of the General Lee
The photo at 1:39 is basically peak nascar to me. Cale, Petty, and Buddy Baker are still there along with Tim Richmond, Dale Sr., DW, Davey Allison, Bonnett, etc. So awesome.
Cale is the first NASCAR name that I'd ever known, as a middle-schooler back around '70; I would get him confused with Lee Roy. Lol I dug his prowess, and big name. Saw a famous pic of his visiting wounded troops a military hospital during the height of the Vietnam War, which cinched it for me. Later on, I'd found out that he was an undersized HS football player, was a fighter (as attested by his astonishing record, and by his memorably taking on the Alabama Gang - shame on you, Bobby; lol), and that was *it:* *Cale for life.*
Cale was a damn good driver never a big fan of his but him and others of his era were real men.I was a fan of the king richard petty and the silver fox david pearson ah the good days of nascar
@@kellydietrick6781 Absolutely sure. I have the post race garage tear down pictures. I even talked to Call about what car it was, a Chevelle or Oldsmobile. Cale said he won so many races he couldn't remember. Ask Junior. TD Atlanta
Wow..I'm in Reidsville NC..How can I meet Cale Yarborough..Would love to have a photo standing beside Cale..Maybe get to ask a few questions too,OMG..Thanks for posting..Randy
Hi Randy. Cale is not up for visitors and the spotlight. And Junior Johnson passed away a few months ago. We are losing the good guys. You can go see the car now at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte NC though. Great museum. Great people.
Glad i grew up watching all the legends Cale was the man!!! R.I.P.

Glad I grew up when I did and got to see part of his career. Never forget watching that 1979 Daytona 500 and his back to back Daytona 500 wins.

I'm glad they are on a track instead of in a barn. Just don't wreck the things.

Cale As A Owner Probably Told His Drivers "If They Push You Into The Grass, Get Out And Whip Their A$$".
😅🙃😎
Cale Yarborough’s mechanic is my one of my Uncles’s friend, my uncle would help build Cale’s car
Did I mention that this car is currently in the NASCAR Museum Hall of Fame in NC? Great museum if you have the chance to visit.
I really want to go to that museum
Does Cale still fly ?
He was in the best era's in Nascar
I live less than a mile from his Honda dealership.
At 1:38 it's the infamous Tim Richmond "got his goober out behind Neil Bonnett's ear" picture! Hilarious!!
