They also were in a coast guard program where they had a 93% accuracy rate, 90% better than humans basically
Also, they were in this other program that allowed them to guide missiles

One of the saddest things on earth is the way these great little guys are treated by the so called "human" race. It's disgraceful because aside from pooping on a few shiny new yuppiemobiles, which have multiple coats of nearly indestructible polyurethane, pigeons have committed no crimes that justify the hate and horrible treatment they get. Anybody interested in their intelligence levels should watch B. F. Skinner's experiments with them. They're incredibly friendly, smart and funny, and they can teach us things about loyalty to your mate, how to raise children, how to learn from experience, and hundreds of things too numerous to list here.

jpalberthoward9 I found to baby pigeons outside my house one of them was long dead but the other was just alive I rescued it and fed it he survived with me for three days but past away one day before Easter I think from a chest infection I loved him so much but when I saw him ghasping for air and weak and eyes closed I new he was not going to make it but I stuck with him and buried him in my back garden but I stopped him from suffering in the cold but I am so sad

ed Coates my dad found two baby pigeons who were barely surviving, he rescued them, fed them soaked dog food and encouraged them to fly. Now they are almost 3 months and have their own coop. It’s not easy raising a newly hatched bird but if your lucky and do your research you can succeed.

If we take the time and trouble to use our eyes and ears and observe what's right in front of our faces, we can see all kinds of amazing stuff, whether it's pigeons or anything else. If we just shut down our brains and our cognitive ability, and simply believe what we've been told all our lives about something without ever really bothering to check it out for ourselves, then we remain narrow minded and unenlightened, whether it's pigeons or anything else. If you put pans of water out, you see very quickly how much self respect pigeons have, and how much they hate being dirty and nasty. It takes about a week, but the transformation is remarkable. A little food and just talking to them is really all it takes to make some cool friends. In the last 3 years I've lost all patience and respect for the haters. My own powers of observation cancel out any irrational hatred coming from those who refuse to observe or consider that maybe they might be wrong. Some people are just plain mean and cold blooded, and are looking to justify killing something for fun. They will refuse to acknowledge any logical argument or hard evidence that runs contrary to their own selfish desires.

Cars can be washed, it’s not a big deal if a bird poops on it. Bird poop is easy to clean too.

Pigeons poop so much because of their very high metabolic rate.

Sorry for that. The 4th fact is
“The pigeon can beat its wings up to 10 times per second, while maintaining a heart rate of 600 beats per minute up to 16 hours without rest.”
      Thanks for watching 🙂

    PIGEONS DESPERATELY NEED HELP !!
90% of pigeons in cities die in their first year of their lifes. The others don't live longer than 2-3 years.
In nature, they can live up to 12-15 years !
They have nothing to eat, they are forced to eat trash, they get sick and die, freeze to death.
Pigeons can NOT naturally live in cities. They are only here because of breeders !
