Oh, just one word missing and some clarification. I've had enough people use my car as brakes, as in they just run into me because they're too... Whatever to use the brakes.
The first Time I went to a dirt track I kept telling my dad this is litteral music to my ears and he looked at me like I was crazy, he’s a snowcross fan so I see where he’s coming from but I mean come on. This is the most American sport in this country!!
First time I've seen a video like this. Appreciate it and hope you make your way to the east coast someday. I go to the speed palace (port royal speedway) every weekend to watch my cousin's, the wagners race and have been addicted ever since my first race back when the place was a dump in the late 80's. Best track I've been to in my area but haven't made it any further than lernerville so edlroa and Knoxville are on by bucket list. Wouldnt mind coming to some of the bullrings out west either. My dream would be to hop in one of these or any type of winged sprint and give it a go. I used to run the track in and had a blast doing that. Only difference is, we ran the track in backwards and they don't do that anymore.
Kings royal/knoxville nationals crowd will blow your mind if you ever make it. You will say to yourself "I didn't know there were this many sprint car fans in the world"
@stevenjones8160 yeah, that is them. They live a little further away than I do. I'm less than 5 minutes away. They have to travel from a couple counties over.
Tanner I ran into you at the tulsa fairgrounds the other day. You were waiting to see what the weather was gonna do then head north or south. Stand on it!
Tie rod and drag link flex a lot. The front wheel pop back and fourth, but you don’t feel that in the steering wheel. The steering box in a sprint is amazing, no force feed back at all
U have to be insane to get in this thing and rip it any way. It especially like this. I’m a asphalt guy can’t stand to loose absolutely hate the feeling yet y’all run this we Todd Ed power on mud omg 😱
You have worked very hard to run the top, full throttle, and tracks do a better job keeping that cushion tacky, But if that ever goes away and you have to go to the bottom, feathering the throttle becomes tricky. Watched a famous ASCS driver named Gary Wright win many races on the bottom when the track goes away.
Those who have never raced a sprint car don't understand how tired the muscles in the front of your ankle can get when you have to pedal the throttle multiple times every corner. Takes a lot of seat time to develop those muscles.
That front left tire was barely on the ground but somehow he was still steering it's funny tho with all that power you gotta turn the wheel the opposite way to keep it in line lol
It should be how much throttle do you use until you see Elvis or Jesus and never lift even if you see them. It takes a special kind of driver to wheel a 410 outlaw sprint car. A 360 or 305 sprint has power but nothing like a 410 completely different animal and torque and power and it drives a little different and different driving style than in a 360 kinda
There was a mechanic at Riverside (AR) that talked his driver into letting him take it around once. He took off and drove straight into the turn 1 wall. Sprinters don't turn very well unless you're sliding.
Tanner..have you noticed how much steering input you use ? Early on in the 1T you slowed down your steering a LOT ( LESS back and forth ) Just my observation, hopefully you look into it. Keyboard Crew Chief, # 259
On the huge half mile high bank oval i race at with the series inrun in and they are 410 wing sorints we dont ever lift except for burping the throttle from full to 3/4 then back wide open again jsut enough to get through turn 3
That sound is music to my ears😁😁
Never if you can avoid it, and that's called WINNING!
Wellll... Ideally, but I've enough people use the car I'm driving as brakes that I know that saying needs moderation.
@@Raven-ji4xubrother, I have spent 30 minutes trying to figure out what you’re trying to say and I got nothin.
Holy crap! I must have posted this late at night or something.

@@lege46hope that helps.

👍👍🙏👏👏👏
Nothing like the sound of 900N/A horsepower.
You got that right 👍
Yup

Mike and Logan Wagner right?
@stevenjones8160 yeah, that is them. They live a little further away than I do. I'm less than 5 minutes away. They have to travel from a couple counties over.
Ahh that’s sound is so great
Thanks for that camera there Tanner. Its nice to see that view of what a driver does behind the wheel
Now that’s hammer down!!!🏁
When it’s hooked… absolutely as little as possible.
Tanner I ran into you at the tulsa fairgrounds the other day. You were waiting to see what the weather was gonna do then head north or south. Stand on it!
WFO FTW! If you're in first, pass last place, if you're in last, pass first place. And don't forget to butterfly. 🏁
NevrLifft!! 💯🔥🏁🏁🏁
Nice Tanner I like the throtel cam your friend Phoenix
Nothing better!! 🏁
Top fuel go-karts, you gotta love 'em!
I love ❤️ this sprints are so cool to watch
That tire looks like it does what it wants! Lol doesn't look like follows the steering wheel at all times lol

@@HillBrosRacing that pretty impressive!

Asphalt for getting there…Dirts for racing🙏🙏🙏
I need full races of just these views with perfect audio! 😂
Pure American sport

Love to try driving one and possibly race
Come Attica race Park next Tuesday they payout 15000 to the winner
Depends on track and traffic
I just thought of this let's try a set of trelleborgs custom made on the front spindles🙀 I think you could pick up 1.5
Magnificent scary beast of a thing. ❤
Sprintcars rule!
That front left tire was barely on the ground but somehow he was still steering it's funny tho with all that power you gotta turn the wheel the opposite way to keep it in line lol
Sounds kind of like NO LIFT...kind of like "Yung Money" Kyle Larson
Looks bumpy out there!
Looks like the wheel is gonna fall off 😂
I think the steering wheel is actually just for hanging on!
You should be at Eldora this week!
Dude you can’t lift hammer down baby that’s how you win
Might not lift but you gotta gently let the brakes rub the rotors in the turns I'm sure.
Like power braking
I wish I could race 410 but don’t have enough money and not old enough to
Skagit Speedway 💪

Why is this a question. They dont have any gears so anything that isnt full throttle sound is lifting…
Are those frontwheels even connected to the steeringwheel?
I sure can’t do this on iRacing.
You don’t you just pray
That's Skagit speedway in Washington State

Can we get a helmet cam please
wait wait isnt this at rad torque or something? if not, isnt this by edmonton airport????????
Tanner holms is the goat
Is your foot lodged in there so when you lift you’re literally lifting the petal up with the top of your foot?
You're up in the cushion at the end you know you can't do it like that brother
What about the brake
Throttle masher!
The hose is going up to the wing is that so you can adjust it while driving
How much do you lift in a 410? whats lift???
Did you blip the throttle on entry to kick it sideways?
Wondering because I’ve been doing that when necessary on iracing when I goof up lol
Or if you’re Kyle Larsen you don’t lift.
To the floor
So look im 14 trying to get into sprints but my gf doesn’t want me to. So can yall help me change her mind
Tanner..have you noticed how much steering input you use ?

Answer: not much
/25 prsent
Yeah
Haha not much aparantly
WFO
We don’t take advice from losers.
Why is the wheel moving but steering wheel not?
The steering boxes have a torsion bar in them
Thats awesome #send it
And that is why we love sprint cars !!!!
Front wheels,? No more then three feet !!! 😅😅😅,🤪🤪🤪😍😍🤩😛😛
Guess this guy thinks warming up his engine is optional. Went from 0 to 9,000 rpms with nothing in between
On the huge half mile high bank oval i race at with the series inrun in and they are 410 wing sorints we dont ever lift except for burping the throttle from full to 3/4 then back wide open again jsut enough to get through turn 3
I don’t Larson or Day ever lift 😂.
The track could be a bit smoother
I’d say hardly any
The ratio on that steering though
I was wondering if the steeringwheel was connected to the wheels at all.
My boiis alignment was like WHAT ALIGNMENT
Take a spring off for the 100 mile tracks,To cool
Yep, up next should be Brake Cam,,, wide open ,pullin’er down !!
At times you don't have to lift at all but sometimes you have to to allow the tire to get grip....
Really don't want that throttle to stick
The nxt time it gets good and slick let’s see a left foot view
That 410 sounds crazy
Nasty. Love it.
Beasts of horsepower
How much does the front end weigh? 😮😂
The whole car only weighs like 1200 lbs, so approximately half of that.
1425 with driver and 900 horsepower. night at the dirt track is always a good night.
YEEYEE
Cringe
That's what I call foot therapy and relieving in my 360.
