Was lucky enough to get to drive one last week at a sponsors day, just mind blowing 900hp direct drive. The throttle response is unimaginable. I have even more respect now for people driving these cars at full throttle amongst 25 other cars than i did before.

I know this video is older so you personally won’t see this but I found this video when trying to show my friends that sprints are the baddest of the baddest. Proud of where you’ve come from and where you are now.

It's still absolutely wild to watch the drivers who can actually pull off a rolling re-start if the car ends up out of gear... just the feel and timing to unweight the rear with the brakes, slam it in, and then actually have the momentum to turn it over is crazy.

Love your videos, Tanner. I like the upclose and informative videos like this one. Can you do a video on how you adjust your wing from the cockpit. Also explain to your viewers why you adjust and how the adjustments make the car handle differently. I ran a street stock over 20 yrs ago. Things have sure changed since then. Stay safe!

When I was running in the 80's and 90's we would put the car in gear by pulling the cable upward. Now you have that nice rocker motion. I'm from Central Pa. Nice to see that Rider engine! I used Gaerte at the time. Some used Kriner. My cars were Ben Cook and Henchcraft. My tracks were Clinton County, Port Royal, Selinsgrove, and wherever. There is no lack of racing in Pa.!!

    Apreciate your showing people this.
I highly recommend on a High compression constant flow injected engine that your first push car to:
    1. obtain Oil pressure
    2. Turn mag on
    3. Then turn fuel in
If you change to this method of starting a super high compression constant flow injected engine you will never ruin an engine from hydrolocking and bending a rod, mashing a bearing, or breaking a piston skirt and or piston rings.
When you turn fuel.on without ignition on a constant flow injected engine its can stuff the cylinder full of fuel because it is not burning. Air compresses methanol fuel is liquid liquids do not compress.
I've rebuilt a lot of 16:1 Engines that hydrolocked from unburnt fuel and were badly damaged.
    Race safe and enjoy!

NINE HUNDRED HORSEPOWER!! Holy pumping pistons, I had no idea! Man, that must be a real handful. You sound like a very grounded young man. That car and racing like you do, you have to be totally squared away. The very best, my friend.

Tanner,, I have given up watching Sprintcars because of the constant restarts. An hour and a quarter to run a B main.. dont need the b/s. I was home 60 miles away by the time the A main started.
That and everyone has big hp so it is just a nose to tail race with little passing,,, until someone crashes, then crash on the restart etc.
And ofcourse we cannot touch the track when it is dry, slick and horrid and dusty, I dont neeed to be blowing black from my nose for a couple of days afterwards.
I have run classic Supermods for near 30 years. those cars have a starter and a clutch so IF there is a stoppage we all drive off again. And all those cars looked different sounded different and handled different. By about 2000 there was far bigger money around and far less cars Mid 90s at the Adelaide track there was probably 30 local cars. By 2000 20.
Sprintcars and midgets maybe should all have clutch and starter with a battery. Same for everyone and LOT of time saved. Personally I feel 360s are a better deal and they do not tear up equipment near as much. Same drivers in 360s for the most part may well still be in front but cheaper engines [and none are cheap now] may bring numbers back up. Maybe.
Plus looking at US tracks,, how the hell are they alloweed to race cars on them. The track your sister crashed on is still running and that place is totally dangerous.
Go look at Aussie tracks,, they have full walls, pitgates, catch fencing up to a far higher standard. 100% safer and drivers are still injured but less injured.
