Great video guys. Would there ever be a reason for someone to consider buying an FX8320 based system? I've had mine for almost two years and it's not a bad system. I never see videos on this CPU anymore and was curious as to why.
Most FX 8xxx chips are still great performers, sometimes out preforms the R3 3200. It’s just due to them being about a decade old and on the older AM3 platform they don’t get as much love. I wouldn’t recommend updating unless you want to buy a whole new mini
FX 8xx0 CPUs are power hungry, have bad single core performance and are overpriced. Same generation Intel CPUs can be had for less money and will run rings around them in gaming.
@@Alaska2A idk about the less money part, but older core i series chips will run rings around an FX chip in games. And I am not an Intel fanboy. The last time I bought an Intel system was in the early 2000s(Pentium III, didn't really have a clue what I was doing). Since then I had an Athlon XP 1700+ system and an Athlon 64 3200+ system. In our country you can get a used system for 116 dollars ( including shipping ) the specs are : Cpu : i3 540 Gpu : Gtx 560 ( small chance seller will give you a ti ) Ram : 4g ( they didnt say what the speed is ) Im saving up for it then im buying 2 4gig ram sticks with the fastest speed the motherboard can handle do you think that its worth it?
I wouldnt say you'd get the same. A 3770 is good upgrade and has hyperthreading over the 3470. Im sure there are bench marking videos comparing the two cpus.

would also like to hear any options on what to buy for a beginning pc player?
Why the pcie x4 is that big ? Should it be shorter ?
hey toasty bros, i have a question, idk if you know the answer but i have a amd radeon rx 570, and it performs really bad, it will drop bellow 60 fps on fortnite, all of my pc cost about 1,000 dollars and my cpu is a ryzen 5 2600x so it shouldn’t bottleneck from the cpu, i was just wandering if there was any way that you know i could fix it, i am on performance mode when i play fortnite, and it’s just really frustrating, iv tried a variety of other pc tweets and adjusting radeon software settings and nothing seems to help:/ but anyways thanks and have a good day!
You guys should make it 16gb ram
Great video guys. Would there ever be a reason for someone to consider buying an FX8320 based system? I've had mine for almost two years and it's not a bad system. I never see videos on this CPU anymore and was curious as to why.
Most FX 8xxx chips are still great performers, sometimes out preforms the R3 3200. It’s just due to them being about a decade old and on the older AM3 platform they don’t get as much love. I wouldn’t recommend updating unless you want to buy a whole new mini
@@Alaska2A I agree with what you said. Thanks for the reply.
FX 8xx0 CPUs are power hungry, have bad single core performance and are overpriced.
Same generation Intel CPUs can be had for less money and will run rings around them in gaming.
@@adamkovac90 Seems we got an Intel fanboy
@@Alaska2A idk about the less money part, but older core i series chips will run rings around an FX chip in games. And I am not an Intel fanboy. The last time I bought an Intel system was in the early 2000s(Pentium III, didn't really have a clue what I was doing). Since then I had an Athlon XP 1700+ system and an Athlon 64 3200+ system. I still have an A8 4500m laptop, FX 8350 system(on which I am typing this comment) and an AM4 based system that is in the process of being changed over from an R7 1700 to an R9 3900X.
In our country you can get a used system for 116 dollars ( including shipping ) the specs are :
Cpu : i3 540
Gpu : Gtx 560 ( small chance seller will give you a ti )
Ram : 4g ( they didnt say what the speed is )
Im saving up for it then im buying 2 4gig ram sticks with the fastest speed the motherboard can handle do you think that its worth it?
Sorry i dont think thats worth it
I dont think the cpu can game
@@drdoofenshmirtz3021 you're right the cpu is too old for gaming
@Hxn_er I think that you should save money and buy a better used pc with at least a 4th gen i5 and a GTX 750Ti
It could run some games from 2005 era . Do not install Win 10, go with Win 7 and then debloat it as much as you can.
where does one place the Lexar NM620?
can i upgrade my pc? its rlly old so im wondering
- i5 2500
- geforce 210
- 4gb ram
- 500gb ssd
i run i7 3770 with a gtx 1650 4gb
can you do a $450 pc that can run halo better
Could I put ddr4 ram into this Computer?
Can i add a 1650 ti and a new case??
Would you get the same FPS with the i5 3470?
I wouldnt say you'd get the same. A 3770 is good upgrade and has hyperthreading over the 3470. Im sure there are bench marking videos comparing the two cpus.
You could experience stutter in Fortnite as 3470 only has 4c/4t . In that case it is best to lock FPS.
The gt710 would be a good cpu to put in this build
GT 710 is a graphics card, not a CPU. And it would be far worse than the RX 550 4GB used in this build.
@@jtenorj I meant to put gpu
Can you do valorant and cs go in the next video with this please
Next build
How to game using potato and gpu in 4K.
Will this pc setup play gta5
if i put in the rx 550 do i have to uninstall the integrated graphics
Can I use this pc to Adobe premiere pro cc and after effect 2021?
