Now where is the $20 build, that’s something I can afford.

Me too
nobody cares
Pentium D 945 or Core 2 duo 8x00?
Rasberry pi?????
I love when you guys upload, so informative and entertaining
I love the optiplex builds, I swear I know the inside of an Optiplex better than my own computer just from watching these type of builds
Been doing this for years with business PCs. Even my main PC is a HP Z420 Workstation with 8 core Xeon 2667v2, 32gb 1866mhz ram quad channel, picked up for $180. Stuck a 5600XT and SSD in it great PC for pretty cheap. Great vid guys.
Finally a pc I can afford
Same ima tell my mom if i can get the parts i need for it to build it
Ikr my budget is 400 but I also want better monitor
Yeah an ok pc is normally about 450
@@RandomTalksOFC bruh
Bruh I gotta pc now BOIS
I just built a similar setup. I took an LGA 1150 motherboard out of an HP Prodesk, bought a cheap case, 16 GB of ram, an i7 4790, a power supply and an HP power adapter cable and a GT 1030. I am very impressed and happy with the performance of this machine. I spent about $350 for everything. Definitely worth it. I'm still hunting for a good deal on a little bit better GPU, but the 1030 is at least acceptable and will tie me over for now.
the optiplex method is a idea that will never die. This video is no exception. Swap the case out, and call it a day.
I thought these have proprietary motherboards or something so you can’t swap cases
@@lpmoora you can. You just need adapters for them, and also, for the optiplexes only, you need to modify the front panel switch
Not only optiplex.. basically every office pc with a "decent" 2 or more core cpu will do nicely for low spec gaming.Don'ty even need an adapter if you're a DIY person with the knowhow and knowlegde of which pinout provides 12v,5v,3v and ground.
Did make an old fujitsu into a makeshift gaming pc last week, replaced the cooler, ssd, and occupied both channels of equal RAM, sliced some molex and spliced them into pcie, added gpu, and voila..
Nah i will not swap the case im gonna remove the hard drive cage and put a 140mm fan haha
@@Graphics_Card dude just buy the adapter from ebayruclips.net/video/3fb6-B5Ux_s/видео.html

My htpc is a prebuilt dell I bought from a thrift store for about 8 bucks that came with an i7-3770, 8gb of ram, and a 500gb hard drive. Threw in a gtx 660 ti that I got last year for about 35 dollars, another 8gb of ram, replaced the power supply with one I bought from best buy with reward points, and a 120gb ssd boot drive. Spent maybe about 80 bucks total for it. Talk about value for money lol.
Nice
Instead of using compressed air to clean out a dirty PC, I use a vacuum with a brush attachment. This way the dust/dirt doesn't land back into the PC after it settles. I just make sure I'm fairly gentle when cleaning so you don't undo and/or break anything. :)
You can use something like a shop vac and BLOW dust even help with a static free brush I only say anything since a vacuum sucking air especially with a non anti static brush can cause static discharge . Most electronics can handle some abuse but it only takes one oops 😬 also always first touch or have a hand on metal case first and do not touch any gold pins like everyone on RUclips 😲

Cool story, my dad and me back in the 90s blocked that entire industrial park, won’t put the location but it’s in Louisville, might have to stop in some time and say hi! Lol, when I saw your thumbnail about touring the studio I immediately knew where you guys are. Hope all is well!
This is a one of a kind youtube channel, and I am loving it especially for me who can't afford or don't like to buy bnew stuff coz high market prices.
For the SSD, I've found you can place two screws on just one side of the drive where a 3.5" might go. It will hold it well enough because like you said a desktop probably isn't moving very much.
Holy sh@t!, This build is actually sick and does more performance than my laptop with 75 percent less of charge
I found you guys here and appreciate what you do!
My pc is similar to that one, just with an i3 instead of the i5
same lmfao
9:05 - 9:06 when your just so happy about the CPU you kind of had a moment!
I'd like to give a tip to anyone using an air compressor. I worked construction for 15 years. Not and air compressor draws outside air and can build up moisture inside the tank. Most air compressors I used in the past have a valve at the bottom of the take for removing the moisture. I'd also as a precaution especially if the humidity has been high allow the computer to dry perhaps even using silicone packs to absorb any potential moisture. Also if it's humid outside and your running ac inside bring it inside to dry.
I love doing Optiplex builds 👍 should be pretty good until you start needing Windows 11 for stuff.
Windows 11 is the most unnecessary upgrade ever
Thank you so much I've been looking on buying a cheap PC this is perfect for me and my brother
Your videos help out so much I’m in the process of trying to build my first pc
You guys are great 😊
Your giving a people some choice to start into gaming community 😊❤️
Great Video. Although the warped background music made me go wonky.
i found a 1050ti for 140$, its has been over and underclocked and never used for bitcoin mining. Is that a good deal?
Yup paid $200 for mine brand new from Amazon beginning of last year before the gpu shortage so yes that's a steal for nowadays. Hopefully the overclocking didn't hurt it though. I really frown upon overclocking. I always play it safe so my hardware has a better chance of lasting longer. :)
Before everything went to sh*t they were like $120 with tax. You’re not doing too bad.
I’ve got an Optiplex 9020 i7 with a RTX 2060. Love it.
Lmao
I have an air compressor but i don't use it for this. Alotttt of water can accumulate in the tank, be cautious when using compressed air. I use one of those data-vac blower things, like $50 on Amazon. Crazy powerful, and has the added benefit of not having to dismantle my system to take it to the garage for cleaning. Can't recommend enough
16:43 just read the apex chat and it'll explain itself
i bring my dusty pc parts to the carwash bc they have free vacuums and air compressors lol
I play on console and I’m looking to grab a pc for when I stream and to edit videos what specs do you recommend?
Any i9 cpu
A rtx 2070
A 750w psu
Any lga 1151 motherboard
16gb ram

Great job! I love y’all’s videos! Im hoping to invest in a good pc for my channel when the prices calm down a little bit, haha
I just subscribe, awesome content and I shared it with my friends
I'm in the dell mod group on Facebook and we mod these 7020 dells all the time. It will run 32gb ddr3, any power supply with cable adaptor, and very easy to do a case swap if needed.
Hey, sorry for the rookie question, but as a beginner whos interested in modding a 7020, do i have to use the exact rx 460 in the video?
This is basically my rig. I’m based on a 3010 though, but running a core i5 and an RX 460, all of which I got for free. Bought a new NZXT case on sale for $60 and that’s the only thing I’ve spent money on so far
That Pathy was angry @ 16:42 🤣
I built one for $20 like a media center to watch movies on the television 😁
You should build like a crazy system in a case like that
That same $100 graphics card is now $151 dollars on Ali Express. That's a huge jump for just one month. I smell some gouging happening!
I wouldn't recommend upgrading to an i7, those motherboards will take the xeon e3v3 series CPUs. I put a Xeon e3-1246v3, 8 pin to 24 pin PSU adapter, EVGA 550w 80+ psu, 16gb ddr3 1600, xfx RX 480 8gb, 500gb SSD+1tb HDD in a Dell precision t1700, which is basically the same as the optiplex 7020, back in 2019 for just under $300 and that thing still can play any of the latest and greatest games on the market to this day. And those motherboards can handle up to 32gb of ram btw.
I got the exactly the same pc
This gives me proper idea to how to upgrade it
Dude i have the exact same build instead of the i5 have the Intel® Xeon E3-1270 v3 3.50GHz, had to order the 24 pin to 8 pin converter also, just get the converter then you can use any power supply. Once i did that connected my 1660 super and enjoy aaa titles in 2021.Very good builds for budget gamers.
When you are on performance mode on fortnite ,make sure to have the texture low to not get the object not loading ,should work on8 gb ram
Even though I have gaming laptop I still watch every video from toasty bros
Valid point about the psu and 6 pin / SATA cable.
well, ive learned that you dont need a very expensive pc to have a decent setup. all you need is 700 dollars and you can get a decent pc, along with a monitor and desk and chair and more. you guys have informed me very much about something i might do in my free time. you earned another sub :)
my school recently got $1500 dollar all in ones for our tech room. I might ask the school once were off of holiday break if i could have some so i could upgrade and use them.
Most newer OEM systems have the windows key baked in the board 😀 you can find out doing windows install offline without entering a product key. Then check activation of windows.
To fix Fortnite textures: For the pcs that are 8gb of ram u have to play on low meshes and for 16gb of ram u can play high meshes the difference in low meshes and high meshes is that low meshes has mobile like builds but it's not that bad u can try it out it works for ur textures to load in and u can only change ur meshes on the lobby u don't have to restart ur game to change ur meshes
I'm honestly just curious if a system like this can replace an aging PS4 in our living room. lol
Bought a PS5, one of my kids enjoys a few games on the PS4, but it's definitely on its last legs and I've always wanted to build a PC. Obviously, we're not going to play GoW on it, but I know they would enjoy a lot of stuff that's multiplatform that I can get on Steam.
I love toasty bros and it’s even cooler knowing that there in the same state as me I love all there vids
If it’s ky then me too.
They wear UK shirts all the time, so... yep. Lol
Put the ssd under the cd drive using the upper spare SATA power connection, This will leave the lower spare to power the GPU and the CD drive connected.
16.42.. you gotta love the mssg someone put :P
I just got a Dell Optiplex 3010 for $26 from goodwill and this video happened to come up in my feed
Love the super budget builds!
You can change the PSU! I had exactly the same PC and it was powered by a Corsair PSU. 3 SSDs, 16 GB RAM and an EVGA 980Ti Hybrid - no problem! Also you can put an i7-3770 in it, the Motherboard has NO Problems with it, too!!
does the dell optiplex 7020 that you have come with wifi?
This video is perfect for when you're studying for 6 hours straight and need a 20min break. And also I needed to upgrade my old laptop for editing.
Would a 1050ti be good in this system if you can find it at a good price?
I had a 1050ti asus pheonix edition i bought an optiplex to just use it and showing off what a office pc can do thankfully i got i7 and 16 gigs of ram with 1 tb hdd i then bought two 120 mm fans mounted them on side panel and used a 2.5 ssd 500 gigs amd woala its better than my laptop with i5 6thgen and mx 250 now
You can buy a cheap air compressor at places like harbor freight or any store like that
i missed this content! i recently picked a Lenovo pc with a 6th gen i5, 256gb ssd, and 1tb sshd for $100! Its for a build im doing with for my gf. were still trying to find a gpu but in the meantime im letting her borrow my old hd 7950
That pc is really good, 6th gen i5 integrated graphics may be good
what are some good budget Pre-builts I really dont feel like building one. I have the money just not the time
16:42 LOLZ , your teammate chat is harsh 😆😆😆
16:44 Drewski1010 was really mad at you guys LOL
Just ordered one of these 7020 minitowers with a i7 4790. It only has a HDD and 4gb RAM tho. I wonder if it’s worth putting in 32 gb or just 16 gb
love it! I love to be able to recycle these units for someone else... they will last forever...
Awesome I’m excited for this
My grandma has that pc as her actual workstation lol
My grandma barely knows how to use a phone.
@@romanbellic5241 lol
I use the Optiplex 390s a lot with I5-2400s, but the SATA 2 only ports cut SSD speeds in half, but 240Mbps is way better than mechanical HD speeds.

1yr ago i bought a pc with a 4th gen i3 w r9 280x 8gb ram and 240gb ssd for $250aud so happy i bought when i did.
I'm interested in your Ryzen 3200g budget gaming pc, I'm planning on getting it, but I need to know one thing, is there 2 jacks for headphones+microphone input?
It depends on the case so if you have the model Google it and you'll find out 👍
@@jasonhenderson3042 Thank you, that helps a lot.🤙
I am just getting into PC builds. Can you not transfer the Windows 10 from the HHD to the SSD?
I had an optiplex myself, damn good pc for low budget
Toasty bros which dell optiplex should I get dell optiplex 790 (Amazon) or dell optiplex 7010 (Amazon) I'm getting either one of these with a evga gtx 1050ti
Put in a reservation for Steam Deck and save the extra $150 while you wait then buy a dock/dongle for the desktop experience.
I have a optiplex that I made into a gaming pc for under $200 with 8g ram i5 2400 and a gt 1030 it is good for me and today’s market
I built one of these only with a 7010 gave it a new 450 power supply (it had a dead one.) 4 tb storage and it came with a ssd, and to top it off I installed a gtx 1050 ti. also I still use a optical drive to burn movies.
what variant of the graphics card did yall get? the 4gb or 2gb?
2gb
Gonna buy mine in a month finally getting the Alienware I been wanting for over 30 years now, first pre-built non laptop I’ll have ever bought
Alienware laptops have rubbish airflow and their towers, please go with a different prebuilt company or build urself.
We don't talk about Alienware we only talk about dell here
How good will the pc be with out mods
Been a while since youve done a super budget build lol
Are the PCs on your guys website brand new or used PCs? I was looking at the i3 1650 super but I think I want something that can run most games at 144hz. Is it possible to get a pc like that with only $1500? Edit: I don't want to build my own bc I don't trust myself plus can't really gets part rn.
The i3 1650 super is all new parts.
@@pyroconetik agreed, it's mostly i3 10100f from last year and 1650 super (kinda old)
Great little budget PC 🙂
im new to pcs. can you swap the 4gb ram for 8gb?
One good thing I have a 750 w PSU in my old rig which saves me money and a case
I bought a gaming PC on Mercari for $400.. A ryzen 3 1200 with a RX 580. I don't need it but I couldn't pass up the deal. Going in the living room for console emulators. Got an Ryzen 5 3600 / RTX 3080 in my "office" lol
You should change the cmos battery as well while you were at it. After 6-7 years, the CR2032 battery capacity would almost certainly close to zero. I just bought one 3020 (SFF) and two 9020 (USFF and MT). All three needed battery replacement after I measured them using multimeter.
wtf are you even talking about its not a laptop
@@volonidminus google "CMOS battery". It's in desktop and laptop, and it needs to be replaced after few years. Dell 3020/7020/9020 was released in 2013/2014, so surely their original CMOS battery have died / almost died already
I have the same the motherboard but my is optiPlex 7010.
Cpu i7 3779, gpu zotec GTX1060 6gb, 16gb ram 1333mhz and 1T HDD. Very lagging when playing games. Need to upgrade my ram speed and SSD. Hopefully gose well.

HP Z220
I7 3770
4x4GB DDR3
2x 240GB Inland SSD Raid-0, 1TB 7.2k HDD
HP OEM (ebay) R7 450 2gb gddr5
Maybe closer to $275
Be having a 1660 and still in joying watching budget builds
holy crap.. i need to try this
Think D2 Resurrected would run on this? I want to get a cheap gaming PC to play with my kids and D2 and GTA V would be about all I would play.
What case does Jackson use on his pc I need to know bc it looks really cool and I want to submit my setup on setup wars
I would install the SSD and HDD below the CD rom drive and use the sata power from the bottom drive cage to power the GPU. then remove the lower drive cage for better airflow to GPU, use the exhaust fan or buy 120 mm dell fan as a front intake where the drive cage was located. Fortnite creates temp files that need to load so if you change settings or for initial first time playing it will lag and have loading issues because its saving texture files to SSD if you close epic installer and re load Fortnite it will be much smoother then initial load or after changing any settings, your total ram usage is well under 8 gigs unless it runs in quad channel only use 2 of the largest ram sticks possible with the lowest latency and highest density meaning number of chips on the stick for noticeably better performance in games, that's also poor thermal paste application advice you should fully clean the old paste because old chunks of dry paste can effect performance also use a clean dry (no powdered) rubber glove to spread the paste over the CPU's IHS also disable page file on SSD and enable it on the HDD
Cool, do it then
i love your guys videos and im so glad you did a optiplex build. i've been looking into going after a 7040(has a 6th gen i5) i was going to utilize the m2 but curious what is a good budget gpu(if thats even possibl) to match with it?
Low profile 1050 ti or gt 1030
@@TrainsWithDynamo 1060 is little more expensive but your going to get 50% more performance.
GT 1030 GDRR5
Get a Sapphire RX 470 Mining (DVI-D). It takes a single 6 pin that you can power from a double SATA and any 300W PSU will be enough. They are very cheap on ebay still.
impressive for the budget, really
Laziness never pays trust me there,
I would have removed all the old paste.
Cool vid tho
Wait how did they turn the fans on if there was nothing in the case?
What software did u use for recording gameplay?
I have gtx 580 i5 3570 and 8gb ram and i think that is a good build to play gta v, cs go, valorant, pes/fifa 21 and other good games.
It's nice to see a cheep build we can't all afford mega bucks
