Gaming for under $100 probably sounds impossible. Here at the ToastyBros, we know the way! For only $80 we show that gaming at 720P and even some games at 1080P is possible!

To be honest I mostly watch budget gaming pc on this channel
That’s the most popular kind of content in general. I think the toasty bros are extremely cringey and that makes me feel better about myself which is why I watch :)

Wow this is actually a really good budget build for school work and light gaming on the side.
Would love to see what some older games, from the early 2010's, look like - ie Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, etc. These are the games I would play probably with something this cheap.
yeah would this pc be good to mainly run ps3 games ??
@@juanesparza458 usually even a gt 1030 which i own and hear is not for gaming, can run some semi=modern games like dishonored 1-2 boderlands 1-2 and stuff at 100 fps on low or 60 fps on high, so i would imagine this could at least run ps3 games decently
Agreed!
@@duskess6411 there is no way in hell you can run Dishonored 2 on low with 100 fps my GTX 1050 ti can barely go 60 on lowest settings
@@noobguy9973 idk i just watched some video on how to overclock the 1030 and even modernish games like dead by daylight are running on 60 fps (im new to pc idk all the terminology)
Glad you guys show videos like this 🤝👍🏽
Lol my first build had a intel core 2 duo and a old ati Radeon. It struggled to play Csgo lol. Now I’m on my fifth build
That's my budget.
on these units I'd put in a AMD HD5450 2GB video card.... will support basic gaming and will run all the videos if you plan on using one of these units as a media player... I have a HP 6005 which is basically the same style unit (SFF) and the video card works great in it...
love seeing lower end budget builds makes me feel better about my own budget build.
Lol
You can overclock the GPU and get a few more FPS out of the card.
Love the vid, Something I would love to see is a look at the r5 430, it has 2gb of gddr5 memory and launched three years later compared to the r5 240, but it had the same specs otherwise.
But something to note is that I could also get quite a large overclock on the r7 430, it went from 24 fps before the overclock to 40 fps after the overclock. To get this overclock I installed gpu tweak 3 and enabled ‘enhance overclocking range’ and moved the boost clock to 1100 MHz, and the memory clock to 5600 MHz. Btw this is not a recommendation for an overclock this is just what I managed to get to without it crashing.
I got the r5 430 for about the same price as the r5 240. I got the r5 430 for 34$ AUD free shipping, if available I definitely recommend the r5 430 over the r5 240.
-
Sorry I just read through, this is not an attack on the r5 240 because I do admit the r5 240 is much more available. It’s just if the r5 430 is available for the same price as the r5 240, I would definitely recommend the r7 430.
I mean the last pc around this price range that they made they put a r7 250 instead only difference is the processor being a generation older and it has a ssd. $20 more would help A LOT with this build.
i just bought the 425$ one and i love it it’s so great i’m getting 100 fps on beam ng drive i love the great deal awesome pc for cheap and i love the videos i appreciate this Channel keep up the good work 5 stars!!!
bro, i would kill for a full sized pc, but my parents only let me have a lattepanda delta...
I picked up a Dell 9020 SSF (i7-4770 w/8GB ram) last week at an electronics flea market for 30€. I replaced the H.D. with a 240GB SSD (20€) and grabbed a used GT-1030 (40€) and now my daughter has a perfect machine to play her Bibi and Tina and her Horse Riding Star games. Great for my 3 year old gamer.
that’s awesome
Now, This is my budget!
The back 'covers' do serve at least one purpose. It keeps the larger creepy crawlies and other small lifeforms out of the computer.
Sometimes that BBQ smell is not from the kitchen.
I saw a lot of these 7010's when I was on a refresh project for a major hospital system, but the best Dell we saw was a 7080. I'd like to see them do one with a 7080 SFF if they could find one cheap enough.
I have that exact setup. It runs great on win10. Good little budget pc. I’ve had the pc forever so the $11 shipped I paid for the gpu is all I spent
what fps do u get on valorant?

I’m not rich by any means, but AN $80 PC is not budget, it’s cheapskate/poor LOL
@DeputyTestie your right
Big Universal fan Sir : )
The thing I like about y’all is that y’all are not bias y’all actually care about cheap PCs some people only care about expensive PCs
Yah i would like to see what the performance difference was between win10/11 and switching to the ssd. How did upgrading affect the benchmarks u already ran
I wanna buy one of these just to make a sleeper pc, tear out all the components and put newer better stuff in it
great video
Here for the budget builds
I bought a dell 9020 with an i7-4770 with 16gb of ram for $100 and dropped a GTX 1660 in it and it could run most games quite well at 1080p. I got the 1660 at MSRP of like $230.
I wish you could include a bit more statistics during testing.
Such as: power usage, GPU clockspeed under load, avg and .1% fps.
Hope you guys are well.
Try the AMD FirePro series! Good performance in the older models!
Love your content guys. But I have a question how can I upgrade Hp Compaq 6200 pro Micro tower?
I've got an HP EliteDesk with Windows 10 on it, got an SSD into it last year and if I stick a card even just like this one in it I'm sure it's gonna be BADASS.
We need trying old but gold GTA 3, Vice city, San Andreas on the ultra budget PCs. Great content all the way to the top 👍👍👍🔥🔥
Love this content, Toasty Bros has the best pc builds from high end to low end. Keep that content coming!
That was literally my computer until last Christmas
I have the same i5 as this one but with a 1050ti and i lag a bunch on fortnite but i dont have a ssd so should I buy one and will it make games run smother but you guys should do a budget build for gaming and streaming pc
for the full setup vid, try Windows 10 and overclocking the gpu. also try minecraft with optifine
btw for minecraft, turn the simulation distance to 6 or 8, 12 is not what you would be using if u played daily, it isnt necessary, and it also slows performance quite a bit
This is almost the polar opposite of my pc budget as I got a 12600k and a 3070ti but still it is for some reason so fun to see how much you can get for your money in this range. It is more interesting than just watching s a video on a pc with an i9 and a 3090ti.
Thank you guys for not being PC snobs. If a PC can play games it is a gaming PC. Everyone's budget is different. Im sure this PC real run Valorant, LOL, DOTA, Rocket League, Fortnite, and a bunch of other MMO games. Good way to get into PC gaming.
I mean , a phone can play games but we dont call that a gaming console now do we ??
You're funny LOL , you gonna tell me if a game can play solitaire or pinball then its a gaming PC ???? LOOOOOOOOOL you funny mate
This is not a gaming PC
This is a PC that can "game" with like 20 FPS

Hey guys, can you make a video building a pc from a dell optiplex gx620 case?
honestly, back in high school. this PC would have been alot better then the xbox one i was using ....
Belle vidéo
Toasty Bros A system like this would work good as an emulation system once you install Batocera (Linux Emulation OS that has great open GL support for AMD). This would be a better value for emulation at $80 then a Rasperry PI. Would you give it a shot?
I won an auction for an optiplex 790MT off goodwill with an i5-2400, 8gb ddr3, and a 500gb hard drive for $30 after shipping+tax. Then yesterday I found a 2gb rx 460 for $62 after tax on ebay. For $92 I think I did alright, as I'm trying to do my first computer flip. I'm going to include a $3 keyboard that I found at a thrift store (looks brand new), my old reddragon mouse, and a 22" 1080p monitor I got at goodwill in person recently for $10. I'm hoping to get $200-$250 for it off facebook marketplace.
Edit: I also got a 250gb sata ssd which came bundled with a 1tb nvme drive I recently got on an amazon flash sale, so I will definitely replace the hard drive with that as a "free" upgrade.
Funky, just toasty funk bros
Wanted to get one these, and gut it.
Add:
iTX board with nVME slots
5700G
I wasn’t sure if the front I/O is standard.
Also, you forgot to benchmark Roblox
Almost everything in these Optiplex are proprietary so you couldn’t add an itx board in it.
Nice I have two budget builds
One is a Dell vostro 270 and the other is a Dell optiplex 3020
4 2gig sticks sounds funny in my ears
Could you compare performance of this type of PC using a 1650 vs a 6400?
Personally, I'd like to see emulation preformance on it, both windows and batocera. Wondering if there is interest though, besides me
What are the best components that I could swap for like $200 bc I got one free running and i don’t know what’s compatible
What’s is the benchmark tool called on the top left?
What's an alternative to the graphics card that also cheap?
How do you guys record the gameplay?
My obsession with gaming pcs I can't afford
Please do a 3090 ti build
I got the rx 240 but what drivers did you guys use ? Thanks for the idea
Amd legacy adrenaline 22.6.1
ngl theres a good chance the previous owner might throw in a gpu like this just to get rid of it
For why it runs better than my pc
It runs at last gen console performance at a third of the price that is crazy
how about build high end 1156 socket system?
If I were you I would go with a gtx 750 ti ,of course that would be a hundred bucks PC but that worth it , thanks for good content 👍👍👍
Can y’all review the alien wear at Walmart for 1500 I believe
Can it be done with a Dell dimension 4700
how does this pc do on roblox? My brother has a 2017 hp laptop and i wanted to see if he wants better performance on roblox (the only game he plays)
I find a lot of really cheap pc’s like a dell xps with a i7 2600 and 8 gb of ram for 40 dollars and my brother bought a 500 gb silicon power ssd and a msi 1050 ti and it’s a sick rig almost as good as my i5 9600k and my rx 580
Throw a Xeon and GT1030 LP in it. That would double your cost, but probably double the performance.
do you guys test emulation
Would like to se a optiplex 7070 in the channel to se how it performs
Better buy is the 340x and it’s about £5 more and you get 2GB GDDR5 🤩
I have this pc swapped it with a gtx 1650 lp paired with xeon e3 1230v2 cpu with 16gb of vram & 2tb hhd also 1tb of ssd it’s a monster gaming pc
What’s better a k620 or r5 240??
That's good for me 😃
Hard drives don't get slower over time... It depends how you use and take care of them... Most of my storage data are on hard drives because they last longer than on SSDs...
That's right. When I was doing my build a couple years ago, all the research said go with HDD's because they LAST LONGER THAN SSD's! So...salt?
Please do GTX 1650 low profile on i5 3470
U can get locked 120fps in fortnite if you tweak and use a stretched res
Ivy Bridge i5 Dellasaurus. 🙂 Someone'll probably eventually tell you to mount that in a tower somehow so you can upgrade the power supply. 😊
Oh brother. 🙄 Turn on "Hide Potentially Inappropriate Comments" and check for false positives every so often. 🙂
Hey Toastybros, I'm curious to know if I can install a low-profile graphics card in my system.
My Specs are:
Intel Core i5-3550 (@3.30GHz base, overclock @3.70Ghz)
16gb of DDR3 Ram (@1600Mhz)
500gb SSD
250W Power supply
I'm thinking of getting a low-profile graphics card to play a few games on, what can you recommend?
for sure, that cpu is still decent for esports, gt 1030 /rx 550 would be my go because that PSU must be really weak and trash. You can try a gtx 1050 low profile, would be much better for fps
yes you can
1. Amd Rx 6400 LP
2. Gtx 1650 LP if cheaper than rx 6400 and if Your case can fit it
3. Gtx 1030 LP
These people don't know jack, your best card is gonna be a 1050 ti, 4 gb, unless u wanna upgrade your power supply also
Test Shadows of the Tomb Raider with HDR enabled, please.
I would love to see someone benchmark Rust
That's wat I have damn near lol it's pretty good for me
I Wana see a comparison of 1650 an 6400 in this pc
I play American Truck Simulator. What would you recommend I get to have the best experience. I would like to spend 1k. And also, do you ship to American Samoa. Thanks
Ima make one to flip with a gtx 1060 and i3 rth gen 8gb ram 500 gb storage
My pc is $100
I5 6500
Q170
500GB HDD
RX 550
4GB RAM (soon to be upgraded)
why tf does this run better than my 800$ laptop
I’ve been selling a few of these on eBay recently. Hopefully you got one of mine 😁
About the fps in CS-GO, this is the fault of low memory bandwidth (64 bit bus, DDR3). The R7 250 (same GPU, but 1GB of DDR5, on a 128 bit bus) runs at 80+ FPS on average, 1080p low settings. The Oland GPU was not fast to begin with, but to have it gimped on the memory ... shame :(. I wonder, how expensive is the R7 250 for you guys? Maybe it's a better choice than the R5 240.
---- edited -----
Found one for 15 bucks, Asus, 1GB GDDR5.
Next time you guys do something like this I suggest you use a R5 340x instead of the 240 because it's only a few more bucks more and you can get a bit more performance out of the card.
No hdmi display though
@@jponz85 why hdmi required?
Better than mine
Can you find A slightly more expensive around $40 mark? One with TMP 2.0 and secure boot? one for valorant.
bro i have a shitty amd cpu and when i pplayed valorant on it it would lag and crash alot and stutter too but then i bought the r5 240 shown in the video for 10$ and my game runs just fine without crashing or stutters
just be good for a nas or home theater movie display . That i do wit a optiplex 990 find in garbage...lol
They were HD iGPU, not UHD.
Wow this cp is better than my cp if i play fortnite, if i jump out of the bus the cp just freezes the only you can do is to hold the power to turn it off😕
Another BANGER guys there is a bot in your comment section messing with everyone
I could optimise that for Csgo at least 100-180 stable fps
For e-sport and most indie games a 2nd to 4th gen core i5 or i7 used office rig with a reasonable GPU added in makes for an excellent experience. If someone is on a super low budget these are my go to recommendations as they offer the most bang for their bucks.
Edit: if you write to an SSD 5000 times it likely won't work at all anymore, just works is misleading there guys a HDD will almost always outlast a SSD because of how the technology works, or in this case doesn't work. Provided that the mechanical drive is in good shape physically they work almost forever, much longer than a PC is realistically usable anyways. Windows boot speeds on a SSD are the only real advantage they have, for gaming the load times aren't significantly better and this has been triple blind tested. Size vs. cost, data and games on a mechanical dive is a smart choice with a SSD as a boot drive because it is objectively superior for that use case.
I have an older 4th gen 4790k paired with a 1080ti that I just got with ddr3 32gb ram and ssd. I hope I can play games at high settings on 1080p I just need to build the pc
@@jponz85 your probably gonna wanna improve that cpu
@@MechanicalMelodies probably but at least both the cpu and gpu are 3yrs apart
why is this pc better than my cousins pc
Didn't you already post about this? I couldve sworn it had like 24gb of ram or something and a 250 samsung ssd. You guys bought a 500gb for it but found out it had a 250?
How you even get windows 11 on it?
