This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm shooting a birthday party next week with a Moza Air 2 and BMPCC4k. This is nice because I'll be able to mount my wireless follow focus remote to it.
FYI the holes on the top are not threaded as stated in this video. Thank you for making this video. I just ordered one to usr with my fs5ii and shogun inferno. Hopefully thats not too much weight for this system.
Question: What is the best way to attach the BMPCC4K to the MozaAir2 gimbal? Can you mount the camera pointing the opposite direction to get the camera to clear the gimbal? Or is some other accessory better to move the camera sideways? What components are best for this?
Recommend this or Thanos vest? I actually have this item, but it does not take the weight off hands during events. It just only when you need to rest. In events like christenings and weddings, there is no time to rest. So I am thinking about Thanos Vest with spring dual arm. what to you think?
The pink on the handle is a none-slip grip tape I put on my gimbal cuz when working with it for long periods of time, when my hands get sweaty I find it's hard and slippery when holding it.
@@TomAntos maybe you have a different model, but there is no chance even with big tape pieces - I would upload a photo here, but this is not possible I guess
great hacks like always Tom - I have the Moza air 2 and we were searching a way exactly for that. I mounted my peak design strap already but it was not really good. Ordered it. Thanks so much! ;-)
Hey Tom, much respect for your work. I'm wanting to build my BMPCC 4K and quite like the set up you have here for it. Are you able to list all the bits you have for it as you have it in this video? Thanks man
Hi Tom. Thank you for this video. I bought the Spider clamp but didn't get the strap. Do you have a good suggestion for a strap? And if you have a belt recommendation that would be cool too! Thanks!
it seems great accessory, my question would be, is it flexible enough to have the belt on? what if you want to go for low shots, I know you can adjust it but for a fast paced event shoots, is it useful? would you imagine shooting a wedding with this strap? I would be interested because I shoot weddings with ronin s :) and its already quite heavy.. thanks in advance.
@@anywherenearzero Hi, I finally found a solution with these items for the Crane Plus: - The Small Rig 2119 (it is written that it fits the Crane Plus on the small rig web site and it does, whereas this information is missing on the Amazon page of the product) - two strong 1/4 eye bolts that you screw on the SmallRig - A shoulder strap for heavy duty with two metal clips Note: the smallrig fits the Crane Plus on the part which is above the commmands of the gimbal (and which does not turn). It works pefectly!
I know what you mean. I before built something similar like this but it still wasn't as sturdy and also mine DIY version didnt allow me to attach accessories to the clamp.
Question from a newbie: I want to record my hikes in the wilderness and stabilize the video. Will this clamp and strap work with any specific gimbal that will allow me to rest the bottom of the pole at my waist and still have the camera pointed straight forward ? I am attempting to record video similar to this youtube example ( ruclips.net/video/U1j-eO3-aR8/видео.html ) but just can't figure out an inexpensive way to do it. I am just a hobbyist so I cant spend $2000 on a readyrig or anything like that and those type of solutions weigh too much to take on long hikes and camping trips. I would be grateful if you could help point me in the direction of being able to produce stable video like that youtube example. Thank you.

Check out this product me and my brother created! We are both videographers and filmmakers and wanted a way to carry a gimbal easier. We made a custom shoulder strap bag that does just that! Check out our Kickstarter at gimbalholster.com
Cool! Please make it and show me the results and how much it cost you. I tried before but wasn't able to make something of the same quality but for cheaper. Considering you can buy this for $45. I spend more on raw materials for the clamp and strap. But I always love seeing DIY projects. Thanks!
Hi Tom. I bought it for my Ronin S. Works well. It reduces fatigue very much.

Great video. Unfortunately, it says "Currently unavailable" on Amazon. Is there an alternative you recommend? Thanks!
I bought one for My Ronin S. I have to say it us really helpful, and take lot of pressure from you.
Hey Ketak! Yup it's such a simple idea but very handy. Im using it on the MOZA Air 2. We should meet up again to shoot some tests in the snow.
wonder if this would fit weebill s
Tom, will you be getting the zhiyun crane 3 lab?

I like the idea for the set up..
The pink handle is making the gimbal look bad..
The pink on the handle is a none-slip grip tape I put on my gimbal cuz when working with it for long periods of time, when my hands get sweaty I find it's hard and slippery when holding it.
Luckily, there's this thing called "videography" where the important thing is the look of the video the camera records, not the look of the camera.

I don't like that it gets in the way of the trigger on the Moza but this is a necessary accessory.

Any imputs on the compatibility with the Crane 3 Lab?
Great video.. you have a new fan
It works only with moza air 2 ?? not with first model ?
Hi fellow 7D user, it's so awesome to see you!
I just got it but it does not fit at all with the Moza Air 2 - a big gap and lose - any tipps? Yours seems to fit better
Really? Mine is snug. Maybe try adding some grip tape or gaffers tape between the plate and the moza air 2 handle.

No link for the strap on
strapons are easy to find at your local adult toy stores
I might get this 👍🏽
how do you keep in focus a moving subject in your videos ?
Cool accessory, but... isn't there one in production that is made to fit the Moza Air 2 better?
I guess the belt attachments become a problem whenever you want to catch audio from camera mounted mic?
Thnx for the review!
Why do you say that?

Yup. I find this useful. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this tip !
Doe it fit the Moza air cross??
no... unless you put a lot of grip tape on the handle of the moza air cross
Excellent idea. It isn't that much more than a double shoulder flag pole harness.
