- Here is a little glimpse of a full Audio Note system we installed this week for a good customer who has been building up to this system for a couple of years now. We thought we'd give you a little listen to it.....
This system consists of;
Audio Note OTO Phono SE Signature
Audio Note AN/J SPE Hemp on our own wooden stands.
Audio Note TT2 with Arm 3 & IQ3
This system sounded absolutely INCREDIBLE! One of the reasons we install everything we sell is so that we know the customer is getting 100% of the potential musical performance out of the equipment, and this is a good example of that. A little bit of attention to detail goes a long way in maximising performance.

This is one of the best sounding Audio Note systems that I have heard through my headphones on my computer! NICE!!!

Lose the table the turntable is on. Center the sideboard between the speakers and place the turntable on it, next to the amp. Find a place elsewhere for the lamp.
Kitchen next, bit board of that room and the speakers sound dull. Would like to see the kitchen. Cheers
What you want to see in the kitchen? The loudspeakers sounded incredible in person! Dynamic, musical, and just.....REAL!

room is a bit drowning in certain low frequencies + something is missing from the midrange tone. i think the asymestrical carpet placement in front of the speakers makes problems with the floor reverbations. + the corner setup is only used for one speaker ? sounds like a strange concept.
It really wasn't lacking in any department. But I understand it can be hard or impossible to tell from a RUclips video. In person it sounded so lifelike and real! No room treatment was required whatsoever. The rug had little or no effect. Come have a listen for yourself sometime?
I have almost the same equipment, but instead of the turntable I have the CD two en the Dac3 balanced. when I place the speakers in the corner, they sounded of there was a blanket over the speaker? I placed the speakers 50 cm from the wall and for me they sounded so much better. but this is a personel taste. Try to experiment with it. greeting from Holland.

Who you are? It's one of life's big questions isn't it? Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going to? Definitely worth meditating on such things. Let us know how you get on, and what your findings are.

What you mean by „installing a full AN system“?? Putting the amp on a sideboard and putting the turntable on an IKEA table?
I think EVERYONE can do that. The placement is less than optimal as well.
But who am I to tell that to a „competent“ Audio Note dealer… 😮
