This is a great series! You give interviews as good as you take them! Great to know all the folks helping you stomp on the loud pedal.
Thanks for the interview Clay and Shane! And although Shane has been around a lot and learned a bit from the Kalitta team and Jim-O, I'm sure he will do very well with team Millican and learn so much more! I am already wanting to go to the Route 66 drag strip I think it's in May (it's been a few years since I've been there) but I have recently been diagnosed with a serious health issue but you can be sure that if I have the energy to go I will be there! I feel ok for now. I could really use a nitro fix.

Thanks Clay. I knew those kids were young but i did not realize they are only in their teens or early twenties. Last year I predicted 3 wins. This year i am saying 5. I am hopefully for a championship but i know at least top 5 points finish.
You can tell if someone has their head on right or not pretty quick. This kids going to be good!

This is kewl, seeing a yung un come up from the beginning.
Don’t know he knows it yet, he’s in a mentor role for other yung un’s wanting to get into T/F, for being under the camera eye view of the Clay Millican RUclips Channel.
Thinking that a good question to ask Rick Ware, would be, what does he look for in new hires, individuals looking to get into motorsports.

Welcome to the hardest working team in top fuel, Shane. You're going to have to come out of that shell a little haha. I'm sure Clay will help out with that a little when he's putting the camera on you all the time. Clay, you or Jesse need to have a talk with the crew about low expectations. Most of them want to see 4 wins and Jesse is the only one who said 5 races and Indy. Y'all have to speak that into existence. There's 21 races if they find somewhere for July 12-14 and if you win 5 that's almost 20%. And if you're doing that good you'll no doubt be in some semi finals at least. You could win the championship if you do that. I know that's all easier said than done but I also believe in the power of positive thinking. Jim-O is a motivational speaker who probably agrees with that. Now get out there and kick some tail starting in Bradenton. It's cool that you get that race/test session in before Gainesville too. Best of luck to you guys on that big money race there too.
