My daughter is in 2nd grade now and I’ve been watching your show since she was a baby. Don’t teach her to expect kindness, that’s not realistic. Teach her to not let the negativity of others tear down her own character to their level. Over the course of many years, I've witnessed so many instances of impatient and disrespectful people who lack or choose to lack the patience and understanding for people with hearing loss. I have so much respect for Gabriella. She’s around the same age as my Gen Z daughter who is so compassionate, open minded and accepting. I never really understood why she is like that but I feel like Gabriella has given me the reason why. I was pregnant with her during 9/11 and she was born only three months later. She has been subjected to so much negativity in the news and media. She didn’t get to go to school for much of her senior year in hs, no prom, no formal graduation because of Covid and had been held prisoner indoors for over a year. They have been made to feel afraid of the world. Their generation has undergone anti bullying and sensitivity training that has made them avoid insulting others at all costs. They were brainwashed to be nice and respectful at the cost of their own personal freedoms. They have had to endure the anxiety of mass school shootings & drills. All of this has negatively impacted their mental health. It’s hard for them to get jobs. I don’t know if they have purpose and meaning in their lives but I suspect feeling like a part of something like the LGBTQ movement may help them feel like they belong to a community since they didn’t get to socialize as freely as most children got to in the past. So many of my daughter’s friends are part of the LGBTQ+ movement. I would even venture to say the majority of her hs friends like 90% considered themselves part of that community. She has had two ex boyfriends who are trans women now. She has another friend in college who did the same. I was like maybe my daughter’s such a wonderful example of a beautiful, intelligent and kind young woman that she has in somehow converted these guys to want to be just like her. I know trans sexuals are real but it seems like so many are doing it because they are just confused or want to feel special and not because they truly have gender dysphoria. Children should not be able to make irreversible or permanent changes to their bodies until they are 18. Their brains aren’t fully developed and they do not fully understand the consequences of their actions.

This is how communication should always be. Just because you don't agree with someone, it does not mean that you need to hate them.
This is the best installment ever. One thing stuck with me that she said. The fact that her generation has only been met with the worst depiction of our world and that the least that they can do is to have compassion for people (paraphrase). Respectful conversations happen all the time. They just don't show it because it doesn't get views. And part of that is because of his poor handling of the conversations. Very rarely do I ever have conversations with people in real life that don't go well. I am able to control the conversation rationally and calmly. Steven Crowder is not capable of doing that, so he leaves it up to the other person to do it. This conversation was so wholesome to see. This kind of communication is what we need in the world. Sensible, calm, SERIOUSLY non judge mental, respectful. She didn’t walk up immediately on the defense ready to attack the opinions of others. I think that Steven was even surprised at times with her lack of satire. And that is fucking awesome. We must defend and cherish conversations like this. We have to cherish people and especially people like Gabriella.

You treated her with respect while also making sure she understood the conversation and clearly repeated yourself when needed. My daughter is in 2nd grade now and I’ve been watching your show since she was a baby. I wish I could have the assurance that everyone she meets in her life will be as kind to her as you were in this interaction, but sadly I know (and have already experienced) that will not always be the case.

As someone with hearing loss, I really appreciate and respect you for your patience and understanding with Gabriella's hearing loss. Over the course of many years, I've witnessed so many instances of impatient and disrespectful people who lack or choose to lack the patience and understanding for people with hearing loss. It's refreshing to see people who are willing to still communicate with those who are less fortunate.

I have so much respect for Gabriella. She’s around the same age as my Gen Z daughter who is so compassionate, open minded and accepting. I never really understood why she is like that but I feel like Gabriella has given me the reason why. I was pregnant with her during 9/11 and she was born only three months later. She has been subjected to so much negativity in the news and media. She didn’t get to go to school for much of her senior year in hs, no prom, no formal graduation because of Covid and had been held prisoner indoors for over a year. They have been made to feel afraid of the world. Their generation has undergone anti bullying and sensitivity training that has made them avoid insulting others at all costs. They were brainwashed to be nice and respectful at the cost of their own personal freedoms. They have had to endure the anxiety of mass school shootings & drills. All of this has negatively impacted their mental health. It’s hard for them to get jobs. I don’t know if they have purpose and meaning in their lives but I suspect feeling like a part of something like the LGBTQ movement may help them feel like they belong to a community since they didn’t get to socialize as freely as most children got to in the past. So many of my daughter’s friends are part of the LGBTQ+ movement. I would even venture to say the majority of her hs friends like 90% considered themselves part of that community. She has had two ex boyfriends who are trans women now. She has another friend in college who did the same. I was like maybe my daughter’s such a wonderful example of a beautiful, intelligent and kind young woman that she has in somehow converted these guys to want to be just like her. I know trans sexuals are real but it seems like so many are doing it because they are just confused or want to feel special and not because they truly have gender dysphoria. Children should not be able to make irreversible or permanent changes to their bodies until they are 18. Their brains aren’t fully developed and they do not fully understand the consequences of their actions.

Respectful conversations happen all the time. They just don't show it because it doesn't get views. The reason this one got views is because Steven Crowder always posts the opposite, he posts mostly videos where the conversation *doesn't* go well. And part of that is because of his poor handling of the conversations. Very rarely do I ever have conversations with people in real life that don't go well. I am able to control the conversation rationally and calmly. Steven Crowder is not capable of doing that, so he leaves it up to the other person to do it. Not a good example of a conversationalist, if you ask me.

But you get an urge to steal that candy bar, you say to yourself "no that wrong" are you a thief? No. We have built in primal urges, and then we have conscience decision making. Am I alone in loving this girl within 5 minutes? Clearly the perfect example of someone open to discussion but only exposed to one side. Love her, And I hope she reads this because her personality carries a natural beauty. I genuinely appreciate her.
Although she’s grown up around conservatives, she may have gone through something that altered or distorted her views on reality. Her being open minded to listen to opposing views is a step in the right direction.

She is a genuinely civil and compassionate young lady. While I disagreed with her positions, I have to commend her for the grace she showed. I wish her nothing but success in her efforts to become a nurse; I’m sure she’ll be an excellent one.
