- In this latest edition of Change My Mind, Crowder & a partially-deaf lady Gabriella, have a civil discussion about an extremely polarizing topic in gender ideology. This was a warm-hearted conversation where two people who vastly disagree came together to discuss a complex topic without yelling, screaming, or calling each other names. Enjoy!
In this latest edition of CMM, Crowder has one of his most favorite conversations yet! A partially-deaf lady named Gabriella.

Genuinely one of, if not my favorite installments of “Change my Mind” ever.
We agreed on nothing.
We were able to respectfully discuss anything.
It was really refreshing. I'm tired of all the manufactured outrage from both sides.
Steven, have you tried discussing why these umbrella identities need to be gendered or tied to gender at all? Why not personal identities?
And yet, it still left the same bad taste in my mouth the second you hit the subject of transitioning children. It all leads back to that, just like how you say you can't take a candidate seriously if they still value the FBI and CIA. If anything, the polite ones who still believe the same ideology are more dangerous, because they'll make their point of view the most palatable to people with no backbone.
Fantastic and respectful conversation and props given the absolutely chaotic environment. Cheers to Gabriella for her courage to sit in the hot seat and keep a level and kind head.
Couldn't Agree More! One of the most intellectual debates I've ever seen. Wow! Miss Gabriella is phenomenal. I understood both of you 100%

Except for the fact Steven crowder beats his wife
The fact that she just says “I disagree” in response to any uncomfortable statistics the interviewer presented, makes her disagreeable. What’s the point of having a rational conversation on an important subject if the whole talk boils down to very opinionated theses?

Gabriella is a very sweet girl and I love how pleasant she made this interview. We can coexist with different thoughts and opinions, this is what makes us human and a society. It's the people on the extreme end that truly ruin this concept. Kudos to Gabriella for being their self.
She'll make a good nurse. Far too many women get into nursing who don't have the personality for it.
We need more people like her on BOTH sides. Imagine how productive we could be as a country if people that had different views sat down and found a way to meet in the middle. Nowadays people aren’t respectful enough to do that. Props to her, best of wishes to her in regards to graduating 🎉
For real, if we could have more of this, oh the things we could possibly solve. But no, people get too caught up in their beliefs, and emotions, they want to be right. So what do they do? They act out with violence, and yelling etc. And that just solves nothing.
Gabriella was so kind. Everyone deserves the level of respect these two showed for each other.
Sad to say as "tolerant" as that generation is her fellow students probably treat her as a outcast.

What a refreshing young woman. Regardless if you agree or disagree with her opinions, you can't argue that she isn't being respectful and empathetic and thoughtful. I really enjoyed this and wish more people were like her.
The ability for two individuals to debate with one another without showing a emotional outburst on such a sensitive topic shows true maturity! Good job you two!
I agree
It certainly helps that someone isnt screaming in his face and calling him a bigot ect. And he in turn isn't being smug and retaliating with insults. This is how a conversation between two people who have a difference of opinion should talk. In my world, if you and I have a difference of opinion, it doesn't make you my enemy. Unfortunately in this day in age, a lot of people have a very hard time having a healthy debate without insulting the other person. I hope more people on both sides see this and learn from it.
This is not a really sensitiv topic tbh, pple who have an outburst on this are just childish and immature and dont know how to properly debate.
If I try this with my parents, I would be dismissed immediately.
kinda sad that we view this as an exeption and not a standard tho
Society would improve 80% if most were like Gabriella. This was the best interview you've ever had.
I don't think it would. It would just make conversations where people still walk away with the same position(s) they came with more polite. It's like when people say that the government should serve the people, but never finish that statement with what group of people they're actually talking about. Obviously you're not going to change your mind from one conversation, but it's common sense that Crowder never will if he wants to keep his bag.

Respectful conversations happen all the time. They just don't show it because it doesn't get views. The reason this one got views is because Steven Crowder always posts the opposite, he posts mostly videos where the conversation *doesn't* go well. And part of that is because of his poor handling of the conversations. Very rarely do I ever have conversations with people in real life that don't go well. I am able to control the conversation rationally and calmly. Steven Crowder is not capable of doing that, so he leaves it up to the other person to do it. Not a good example of a conversationalist, if you ask me.

Intelligent? Will have to agree to disagree on that. She was unable to provide an explanation for her belief of gender being different than sex other than “that’s what we’re taught”
I would actually have respect for the left if they were able to do this consistently
For real. If only most Young folks on the left were that easy to talk to and truly open-minded like she is.
We could work out so many things and protect children better
Gabriella is the most impressive "change my mind" guest I have seen yet. If we just had more people like her, and Steven, there would be much less conflict in the world.
Thanks for watching and commenting, kindly touch my profile and send me a direct message right away for more enlightenment💬🔝🔝
No incorrect we need more people that are willing to change their minds based on facts instead of just stare at you when you say them.
@@NewLifeFromTheWayofTruth False. We need empathy, compassion, and respect from ALL sides to have a productive conversation.
@@timokk3I think we need everything mentioned in this comment thread.
@@10_Percent_For_The_Big_Guy I agree. Reason must be balanced with feeling and vice a versa. It's the old New Testament/Old Testament dissonance.
How wonderful to see such an adult discussion on such a complex and emotive subject. The world needs to watch this.
When she playfully laughed and said "I know you don't like this answer and I'm so sorry" is the exact moment I fell in love with this girl. Truly an amazingly genuine and courteous human being. Good on her for challenging you by not challenging with malice but with dignity and respect.
(I liked her within the first 10 minutes but that moment at about the 25 minute mark or so got me)
Go Birds! Also, good point. .
Disagree wholeheartedly with her but she’s insightful so much respect
I didn't expect Dave to run by and call her a cross-eyed fatty at the end. So rebellious that Dave.
You should have your children transitioned! How sweet! ❤️
Yo- this is legit one of the most well adjusted college kids I’ve seen on an interview. Mad props and love to her
You can tell she's going to make an excellent nurse even though I don't agree with her opinions. I wouldn't mind her being my nurse. She's respectful and kind and doesn't act like a loony leftist.
@@wombat5252 😂 your bar for healthcare must be crazy low
She says she’s a “queer person” and believes that gender is a spectrum.
No, she will not make a great nurse. She is already thoroughly indoctrinated and brainwashed. She will hurt people. She will talk about “gender affirming care”, and tell mentally ill people that their mental illness is a virtue and they must delve into it and believe that they are something they are not.
Objectively, this moron will hurt people and contribute to suicide.
Nobody is including Crowder is not gonna address the elephant in the room in regards to the interviewee. What has the Internet turned in to?
mad props "dawg"
I crave a world where I can talk to people i disagree with this way
Both intelligent a kind people having conversation. Love it
She started out by saying yes sir. Instantly won my respect. Im 40, grew up calling all strangers sir or mam, and still do, and am proud to be respectfull!
You're not that special for doing that. Most people do...
I'm 35, some say I look younger. But whenever I address someone that way in Portland, OR, they freak out......

This conversation took me back to the good old days when you could agreeably disagree.
Tbh as a millennial, I don't remember those times lol I think it's our fault that things are the way they are now. Though zoomers are clearly making things a million times worse
A.K.A, Pre-social media.
This is such a headtrip to watch.
Two people who don't agree at all yet are completely calm and rational when discussing those disagreements. Unlike anything ever recorded in human history
It’s so refreshing to see a disagreement this civil
You can tell her parents raised her right. Bravo.
Its not always the parents, sometimes you learn things yourself.
@@User75314 sounds like your parents failed you
No you can not.
@@va941 Ofc you can.For example try being disrespectful to someone (because your parents didn't teach you how to act) and he beats you up. Im sure you will never act that way again. That's how you learn for yourself.
@@va941 Yes you can.
This is a shiny example of what "Change My Mind" is all about. Massive kudos to your guest.
Yeah, if not THE BEST example! Amazing discussion
That no one changes their mind? Typical brainless conservatives...
This is awesome! Two ADULTS having a polite discussion.. A lot of people can learn from this.
Beautiful soul, I hope she becomes the best nurse. God bless them both for this astounding conversation 😇
She is amazing. The fact she said “sir” in a respectful and sincere way multiple times is a telling sign.
That she had good parents, the only bad thing about her is when she decided her parents are intolerant.
It is because she is from conservative Texas. That is how people speak there
I couldn't imagine the brain function needed to be able to focus while talking to steven and having to ignore the entire crowd. The conversation between Steven and Gabriella was one of the best I've ever seen, and it shows that even with people with opposing opinions, two adults can rationalize a and have a civil conversation.
im hearing able and *even i * was having trouble! Props to her
Not only that, but those hearing aids are like a freaking superpower, she can hear better than anyone around her and she is still hearing all of that and participating in the conversation with him and you can't even tell. Apparently the girls made some smart ass comment about her being deaf, that's what she was responding to at that point.
This chick’s got to be reasonably smart if she’s a nursing student and doing alright with it, it’s just a shame she’s gotten some of these crazy ideas lodged so deep in her mind.
@@darkomen42 someone made fun of her for being deaf? Wow. EFF them very much.
Gender transitioning is never necessary for a child ever if you believe that, you’re kind of a monster, scratch that you are a monster 👹 damn demonic people. I’m heated
Damn. 2 people that can talk to each other about their views without issues 👏👏👏
Imagine being part of a group obsessed with labels and not being able to explain their labels
@@HiddenRealm Right, and then having to make a new label other than that label because that label has certain implications to certain people.
'But hey, None of these words mean literally anything because someone that identifies with that label might have a different idea about what that label entails than I do'
At WHAT POINT do you stop and say why TF do I have to have a label and go out of my way to identify which slot I fit into in a certain 'community'
All of these identity politics 'communities' are so ridiculous. What's the point?
and they don't see the connection between the popularization of identity groups/genders etc and the massive uptick in various narcissistic personality disorders and suicides
watching this video made me realize, they themselves don't know what they are Identifying as...
@@SkawarsXE@SkawarsXE I also get a bit confused by some of these gender politics because of the absence of clarity on some of the labels like you said, so why do we need the labels in the first place.
For the uptick in suicide rate along with the popularisation of identity groups, I am not sure there is a link there, because A and B happened at the same time snd correlate with each other it doesn't necessarily mean that there is a causal relationship.
As to Stephen's point, why is suicide rate specifically so high in trans and why does surgery not improve this percentage, this is a very important question that I think we all need to try and address and think about. Especially his examples comparing to slavery etc
Holy shit, I think it's been like 10 years since I've heard a logical long form disagreement with mutual respect. This was such a breath of fresh air these days props to this thoughtful lady.
I'm trying to figure out what kind of far right hate speech this is lol
We can do that. Pick a topic until we disagree on something.
I’m 50 years old and this is how you used to be able to have conversations when you weren’t in lockstep on issues with different people!! Great young lady!
I'm 46 from Cleveland Ohio and yes this is how working class people used to talk about politics. We could agree to disagree. We would debate things intensely and still be friends later. I'm also gay and this woke narcissism is SO bad, toxic and self immolating, gay narcissists routinely go hunting other gay people and bully them openly with the open support of onlookers. Its just so sick. Everyone's trying to out crazy one anther.
Love your work man keep it up 👍
Holy Beautiful conversation between two people with opposing points just discussing thoughts!
You can see Crowder genuinely loved this conversation with Gabriella. They were both so focused on the conversation that everyone talking in the background faded away. Also, much love and respect for Gabriella for being patient, respectful, calm, and understanding.
What gives you the impression he loved the conversation? He steamrolled her on every topic and interrupted her every response to questions HE asked. He's rude tbh I can see why people don't like him she's got the patience of a saint

I love the fact that after disagreeing and having a good conversation they start to have a friendly conversation about a movie
This is how the world should be 😢
You might have saw a friendly conversation about a movie but I saw a rather distasteful picture being painted of that movie. Almost as distasteful as that ramen. LoL
I enjoyed the conversation you 2 had. I really appreciated her remark about labels towards the end. Where I grew up labels were not important at all. People were just who they were and given respect based on their actions and not by their personal choices.
This was a great interview/conversation. I wish everyone could communicate like this.
Kudos to her parents for raising such a respectful kid. Great talk.
Be careful with the thought that someone’s behavior or demeanor is always credible of their parents
You can be respectful and still be completely wrong!
@@amberlayne4206 I’m positive her parents instilled that in her. Respect like that is taught and she even said she was raised that way. Maybe her parents weren’t so bad after all
Not to be rude or anything but i'd almost say her looks have seemed to made her that way as if she'd push someone they just call her ugly or something
@@WilliamCronin You mean her physical defects made her experience hardships and that in turn gave her strength of character.
The amount of respect, intelligence, and willingness to listen from this girl.... It's admirable, and something everyone could learn from.
Absolutely. All of us can learn from this conversation.
@@PedroTRamos1 You can make an intelligent bad argument. It's clear this girl is smart, she's just surrounded by wokeness in college. And I would assume she wasn't overly social as a child, and has probably been taken in and shown a lot of attention by these groups. The fact that she can have a conversation with Crowder respectfully while also disagreeing says a lot, especially on a college campus in 2022.
All true, but clearly lacks critical thinking.
