A lot of people don't know, but Fedor was also competing in and AFAIK undefeated in SAMBO from 1999-2008 (he took the L at the SAMBO worlds in 2008 ending the streak.) This means he was on a win streak in 2 highly competitive combat sports at the same time. I feel like that's at least worth considering.

Yes. And even a lot of the people that know of his combat sambo careers, disregard it. Because the think, probably, that it doesn't matter. It is the usual mma elitist bullshit ignorance. Because they don't know what COMBAT sambo is. There is a reason why fedor came into mma and had the game. Cause combat sambo IS mma, of all combat sports it is the closest thing to what mma turned up to be. And a lot of people simply have no idea that that is the case.

Determining the GOAT is basically having an election. Candidates are the athletes with the best resumes. The GOAT will be the representative of the people. Someone they can relate to (a 6ft chubby guy with family values), who goes against all odds (going up against bigger, sometimes roided up guys) and succeeds. Giving the inspiration to the average people that they too can overcome obstacles and adversities in their life, should they put in the hard work. And when he fails, because nothing is more certain in life than death and failure, he takes it like it is (made no excuses when his first loss came via an illegal elbow, or when the fight with Dan Henderson fight was stopped prematurely) and moves on to the next challenge, whatever this may be in life.

"If you have Fight Pass, it's worth every penny just for the library of Pride FC. If you've never seen Fedor's run in Pride, you've never seen Fedor and you've never seen a fighter quite like that. I don't know how much these entreaties actually work and get people to go do it but let me just say that if you do, you will be so rewarded with an additional perspective with what greatness looks like and how he was so vastly ahead of the game." -Luke Thomas, Morning Kombat
    Fedor stats:
    1. 48 pro fights with a 40-7-1 record.

    4. 29 victories in the first round.
    5. 15 wins under 2 minutes and 5 wins under 1 minute.
    6. 16 Knockouts / 15 Subs.

Фëдор получается оказался как бы Последним Императором, есть версия из-за его скромного, достойного и уважительного поведения, в Японии это приветствуют, поэтому Император.
